@bobby472 technically yes, you still have the exact same amount of oil even after it has been dispersed, but this dispersed oil is broken down and transformed into non harmful substances by nature a lot quicker then if it was not dispersed. (:

it seems to me the best solution would be to take a cable and attach it to the blowout preventer and yank it off with a crane, and then take the drill steam that nomally would be used to drill the deep ocean wells and attach a wedge shaped piece of metal or wood and jam it down the main well head. by taking the bop off the well head you would only have one leak insted of 5 leaks.. and it would be a straight shot into the pipe with the wedge shaped plug.. not rocket science..

well we can thank bush for easing the restrictions on safety in these companies, his actions are as much to blame as BP, had he not had his back room back the oil company meetings BP would have been better watched and perhaps this would not have happened. He not only crawled in bed with the bast@rds he put silk sheets on the beds for them.

it seems to me the best solution would be to take a cable and attach it to the blowout preventer and yank it off with a crane, and then take the drill steam that nomally would be used to drill the deep ocean wells and attach a wedge shaped piece of metal or wood and jam it down the main well head. by taking the bop off the well head you would only have one leak insted of 5 leaks.. and it would be a straight shot into the pipe with the wedge shaped plug.. not rocket science..

I read all these comments about how "evil" oil is and how "evil" the oil companies are-
And then I see all the other videos on here with Camaros doing endless burnouts, supercharged Mustangs racing Corvettes and SUVs with 32" tires jumping hills - and it reassures me just how full of shit everybody really is with their comments about how "bad" oil is while they waste it faster than this leak ever could.
To all those with the negative comments about oil - you couldn't be more fake.

If you pass a law stating any company that spills more than 100 barrels of oil into ANY waterway, the CEO of that company will receive a mandatory 10 year Federal sentence, you will see ZERO spills.
Right now, Greed rules and there is no accountability.

Obviously, there have been "convenient" systemic "breakdowns" at just the right time for the government "wiggle" out of blame. Then there are the ones who control the government. Sold to the highest bidder. Humanity's future will eliminate these unnecessary dogma and "law".

Exactly what I was thinking...except the added horror that this is not an oil spill isolated to the surface. This is an oil leak that is saturating the affected water column from top to bottom.
