Yeah, but you still have to deal with the steering arms behind the knuckles, the short suspension stroke, and a raft of other weaknesses. On my one '69 I actually tied the subframe on with aluminum bushings, replaced pretty much all the rubber on the frame with teflon, and generally did everything possible to stiffen up the car. No good. Blech.
The 2002 car is better than my two early model racers with not much work done to it. Oh, well.

'67s had the worst suspension of all Camaros. I had one '68 and two '69s. That cured me from ever wanting to build another early model.
Now I drive a 2002 SS with a full Gigliotti G2 package as a daily ride. Phun for an Old Fart.

This one has new Detroit Speed tubular A arms and coil overs. Much improved geometry over stock.
