I really like this song for beginners, as it's fairly simple (if you start slow) and teaches both rhythm and lead, but at the same time can be sped up and enhanced. I made a lesson on my channel too, it's long and detailed and has onscreen tabs as well. Oh and love the Gretsch. :-)

Here's an idea: Watch him slowly and write out tabs for yourself. Then, as you play along with him, remake your tabs to fit it perfectly. And voila! It worked for me. Kudos to you MacHardcase.

Videos like this are great. What I can't figure out (and it's in almost every guitar-oriented video I see on YouTube) are all the people constantly asking for "tabs", on even the simplest stuff.

You're being shown close-ups of his hands, and everything he's doing! Put a little of your own effort, trial-and-error and ear work into this. It's the only way you truly learn and have it "stick", IMO (AND it gets easier each time).

Don't be so quick to ask for tabs...LEARN it. Train your ears!
