@EuropeanGeostrategy i deleted comment u are right, and by the way if u really think that china economy will be ever bigger than US economy, then u must see china first building 30 navy carriers in 38 years, and 80 nuclear submarine 1 class, and 5000 airplanes like usa have now in 2011,,, and also they would have to have world reserve currency... that cant go before WW3 or even cold war in witch one usa will again win.... 1 st super power never had 2 nd economy
@udical The balance of power can change very quickly. The Chinese don't need thirty aircraft carriers in order to cause the Americans problems. Beijing needs only enough to pin the United States Navy down in the Western Pacific; this does not require a navy of equal size to the United States. Why? Because realistically, the United States cannot deploy all its existing assets against China without jeopardising its interests elsewhere (like Europe, the Middle East, and South America)...
