It seemed like a long chase(he was probably driving a while before the vid), and the chance the gas tank was full to begin with isn't big i guess. A full tank is about 65litres(about 15gallons), idk what the fuel consumption is but i guess a lot at full throttle! 30-50l/100km(about 5mpg) at least!

Im about that kids age. I have been around cars my entire life, and racing as well. I can drive better then 85% of adults. But that doesn't mean you do this. The kid was gunning it because he had nothing to lose. The cops were staying back because they did not want to endanger any civilians or themselves as well. Car wise, one thing weather anyone believes it or not, most european sports cars have no road traction at speed, meaning, that kid is extreamly lucky he didn't slide it over.
