  • @15787marijn most allied forces in Holland were Canadese. Brits and Canadese did more here than the USA.

  • @15787marijn in Holland -.- yea and what happened to Holland? allies lost most control to the germans. wouldnt be too proud of that. they split the offense and thats why most of the US troops were involved in western and southern Europe. Canadese?

  • @JTelli786 most allied s

  • How do I get a job here

  • I live in Alabama and had no idea such a building existed. Wish I could get a tour of the place!!

  • Thumbs up if you think they should bring back the 30.06 (7.62x63) in battle rifles.

  • @lumotaku the enfield is way better than the springfield it could hold twice the rounds could fire 30 rounds a minute easily and the WW2 version was extremly reliable i know cause my grandad owned one and ive seen him fire it

  • @champion6341 I actually own a Springfield and an Enfield both of which are service grade rifles (in decent enough condition to be effectivly issued in the armed forces today). I prefer the Springfield simply because the ammunition is cheaper and easier to find, but the Enfield is a good weapon as well, it just costs a little more to shoot. I think that's y the US army used it is because the 30.06 cartridge was more widely used by our military. The enfield fires .303 british.

  • @champion6341 I agree. It's just a crying shame the ammunition is rather expensive. Although it's also interesting that the lee enfield is perhaps THE last bolt action to be assigned to regular troops (not the sniper variants, the frontline ones), seeing as the .308 ishapore rifles were used all the way to the 1960's in the sino-indian war.

  • This weapons are cool but also suck Dick

  • @Bountyhunters12 wtf? how can a gun suck dick

  • 1:28 so thats where the Ark of the Covenant is....

  • I was stationed/USMC barracks Seal Beach NWS Calif 1967 we were issued almost new M1 Garands, that year @ El Toro MCB Calif I requalified with it,,only marine out of 200 with an M1 at the range. Qualified (top )with 231 out of max 250 points (100,200,300 yds) prior to qual day I was approched by several old salts and Korean vets if I wanted to trade their M14 or M16 just for qual day.some even offered money, they knew the rifle vey well. I had qualifications with M14 and M16 too,

  • @WEBTRAIN we need to start making old muskets and guns and melee weapons ect. to sell to people

  • LMAO M1 CARbean

  • i love springfield shes hot when its back moves after every shot.

  • I feel like I'm the only kid in my school that has actually ever used a real gun that shoots real bullets. Not some call of duty modern warfare 2 shit. At my summer camp they were giving us hunting lesseons we all took test on safety and everyone that passed got to test their accuracy skill. i'll say I was scared as shit because as soon as I took a shot I got scared and dropped it because I had a fear that the gun would explode in my hand.

  • @Daxter609 Firearms needs respect. You're right.

  • @Daxter609 jajajaj i just imagine a guys hiding in the bushes screaming "noob"

  • @curseofa5r5a you are funny

  • @wowhobbster666 a freind of mine was in the military school and the first time he took a rifle (was a galil arm chambered to teh powerfull 7.62x51mm round), he went to range, faced the gun (as a 14 ylds guy) 5 seconds afeter he was crying on the floor with a broken noose and his superior said "wow you better be an expert on knife combat" every doby laugth for a whle, some minutes ago they realized that his shot was a bull`s eye at 200 mts.

  • @curseofa5r5a lol, they were probably like: "ooooh, haha, such a greenh... orn. uhm... yeah..."

  • @1993heavenshallburn lol yeha

  • @Daxter609 Some one who understands how i freakin feel lol all those nerds tlaking about their Call of duty weapons its so fucking annoying!!!

  • It is a weapon not a GUN.

  • guns make me happy

  • I hate when people say CarBEAN instead of CarBINE. B.I.N.E is NOT pronounced BEAN!

  • when was this film made?

  • what only 17,000 operational guns pfft i expected better.

  • If the US. ever turns into Zombie Land I know where I am going...

  • @vector6977 the good question to ask is ammo

  • @vector6977 -Pacific Playland?

  • this is my homework...

    Em<3

  • Good ol America

  • yes but 2 milions of m1917 enfield were made

wich were better than the m1903 springfields

  • normal the Garand was almost replace it

  • normal the enfield was the standard weapon of british army, the usa was the m1 garand

  • @Antunez99 Um no the enfield is not better than the springfield especially not the 1917 enfeild which was a conversion to 30 06 from standard 303.

  • Loved the Garand, fired one and carried one. I wished I owned my own.

  • man im 16 and once i fried it a couple of months ago i treat i like it is my baby. 300 yards 12.5 seconds 3in a half inng on the wait for most of the aiming. it was just that good

  • my favorite pistol is the type 14 nambu

  • How and Why? It was a 1. Unreliable 2. inaccurate to my knowledge 3. overpriced 4. underpowered (8mm) If you make this decision because of some game the game do in-game does not compare to Real-life terms

  • i dont like it because of the game :P i like it because it had an interesting design to it and it looks really cool. so beautiful

  • @gun4877 dude he likes what he likes god

  • wow! nice vintage though.... Here in philippines SOME goverment militia and rebels are still using ww2 weapons especially the U.S. one....

  • you know about wat they say arguing on the internet is like runing in the special olympics, even if u win, ur still retarded

  • i fired the browning .50 cal before i hope i get them really love than gun

  • BAR would be my weapon of choice, i hold one before, with box fll of ammo, its just 3 pounds more than the m1 grand. and its just a m1 grand that has 20 rounds and can go full auto.

  • Try carrying one around all day... its a bastard trust me. Plus add a Helmet, Webbing, hot wool clothing, and loaded magazines. U just want to throw the bitch off a cliff afterwards and buy a Carbine ;)

  • lol i carried it in my shoulder for days

I think is a great rifle

i carried heavier in the army

    for months!

  • Comment removed

  • Its actually 7 pounds heavier, and no, its VERY different than the Garand, COMPLETELY different.

  • I wish i was the owner of that museum.

  • i could live in that museum place and never get bored!

  • you will, cause you can't shoot them.

  • same here

  • @nomadkrazy Too true, mate.

  • @nomadkrazy me to

  • @nomadkrazy i could but only if i got to shoot the guns

  • omfg i am so pist...why don't they give some to civillian where it can be used again instead of it sitting and collecting dust...

  • lol, you're so "pist"? Because, they are pieces of history and they are being preserved for posterity, so we can still see the actual weapons used many, many years from now. If they were passed out to 11 years olds like you, we would have very few left as the years go on. If you want a gun, first, grow up. Second, maybe go buy one?

  • yes, but what you don't understand is they are not keeping just 1 garand or just m1 carbine...they have over 100's of thousands in their storage. You seem to be a troll who likes pick fights with ppl over the internet. The U.S goverment is also selling these rifles idk for a 40 yrs to civillians so that just gives you an idea of how much guns they have and are not using. You dont know how much they go for on websites? 800-1000+ bucks then you have these just sitting in storage for what?

  • Of course they do! Why in the world would they keep just one of every gun? That would mean only one would be preserved. That would be utterly stupid. Secondly, of course there are 100's of thousands, many MANY individual firearms were used. Thirdly, if you CAN buy them, why are you even complaining? That makes no sense.

  • @Gunluver1

    Be more inmature...

  • good but the saund is a littel weird

  • man gotta LOVE the look of the M1 Garand or M14 (newer versions)!!!

they look very cool! and accurate

  • M1 Garand was probably the finest rifle carried by any infantry man in WW2. I own Mausers, Mosins, Enfields and Garands and I find the M1 the most effective, but the Enfield is superior to all the others as a fine crafted, accurate and easy to operate. Surprisingly the rugged, yet simple Mosin Nagant is very accurate and powerful in 7.62X54 Rimmed (same round the Russians still use in their machine guns). Love these docs on weapons. History Channel did a good job. Thanks Nguyen for posting!!

  • Indeed :P i am a gun collecter not many guns that i have but fine guns by my tastes :P

  • @rwnministries why in ww2?even today an excellent rifle compared to a british sa-80 is is even better

  • @georgewashington92 britsh enfields back then were no match for m1 garands

  • @rwnministries mosins arnt very acurate

  • @rwnministries Give me some rifles (: lol

  • The mp44 wasnt the original name. it was only changed when hitler would only approve Machine Pistol firearms. so they changed the name to fool hitler and it got past.

  • "You cant say civilizations dont advance. For each war, we learn to kill a new way."

  • Ya i think that's what man kind is best at.....

  • i hate when people relate guns and video games two totally different categorys however video games are increasingly becoming more and more real

  • You still can't that feel of holdin' a rifle through a Xbox controller. As far as I'm concerned, you can't comment on a firearm till you've fired it.

  • to TheCommando55 , you cant say a rifle its bad cos you play videogames, youll crap your pants when you hear a real rifle firing!!!

  • This like the ultimate museum.

  • and now we have m4s and m16s i missed these old weapons

  • um buddy dont talk about a weapon youve never actually fired a video game does not count

  • Jesus, what are you 6?

  • Might want to actually try firing the weapons in real life rather than just drawing experience from video games. Where you might find the 8lbs Springfield 03 much handier than the 16lbs BAR. Of course in a game you never feel the weight penalty.

Most of the complexities of shooting are automatic in video games, and precisely how the weapons react is moderated by the video game anyway, usually away from realism and simply to make the game more entertaining.

  • lol no kidding, its hilarious when these kids talk about guns when they never even shot one.

  • The sad thing is with gun laws the way they are, for his generation (and my own) that is likely the closest that kid will ever get to firing a gun.

It's as if the politicians are saying: "by all means relive the struggle of the men who fought and died for your freedoms but Don't You Dare try to actually exercise those freedoms!"

It is such a tragic farce this world we live in. Especially true in my own country.

  • Treblaine- You are SO right! While we still have gun rights I wish every American citizen who meets the requirements would go out and purchase at least one firearm. Also, when your kids (boys and girls) are old enough take them out and train them proper gun safety and respect for firearms. Also, even if you don't agree with all their politics you should pay the $35 a year and join the NRA. They're the only ones actually going to court on behalf of gun owners. Shoot safely!

  • @TheCommando44 why dont you grab a real 1903 springfield and try to say that.

  • which gun would be better? m1 vs Sks???????????

  • The M1 might be. The SKS was quick to be replaced by the AK-47. So they mustn't have had satisfying results. Also, the Garand is very accurate and is .30 cal. Making it fairly accurateand powerful.

  • The grease gun (M3A1) is a different weapon than the MP40 and the StG is just to mark a different year of production and to change the name from machine pistol (MP) to sturm gewehr (StG) german for assault rifle..

  • sturm means storm and gewher means rifle

  • the stg wasa the first assault rifle is could be shot both full and semi auto

  • u mean the mp 44 stg is the vid game name but that gun could also shoot around corners they made a bend for it at 30 degree and 90 to shoot outside of the elephant tanks

  • ya i saw that it was pretty sweet

  • Hiphopper420w you're totally wrong. MP 44 was just the original name for the same gun (I won't get in to why), which was then renamed to STG44. They're the SAME GUN, there is NO difference. And the MP40 is NOT the grease gun.

  • oh well i knew some1 would correct me

  • the tommy gun was way before the stg and was also selective fire

  • The MP44 IS the STG44.

  • there cant be a "modern" one cuz production stopped at the end of wwii. theyre literally the same gun and were only in service in one country for one year.

  • they're 2 different names. hitler didnt like the design so the designers kept making it as the mp44 cuz "mp" means smg in german so hitler thought it was an smg, but when the generals said they wanted more hitler just had more made cuz they were working. he called it the sturm gewehr 44 (storm rifle 44). storm means storming an enemy position (i.e. assault) thats y its called an assault rifle

  • his gen went over his head with the 44

  • the mp44 was the sturmgewher i think stands for storm rifle, hitler didnt like the gun when he first saw it, but it was such a success, that the germans used them widely anyways.

  • BAR rules the school

  • No, they actually were not anywhere close to getting a-bomb.

  • thanks!

  • That talk about the springfields sights are shit.

  • I guess that is why the German got massacred by US Marines in WWI at 900 yards. Don't doubt the '03.

  • mp44 was an assault rifle

  • its an mp40 not mp44 and it was a sub machine gun.

  • mp44 was an assault rifle

  • apparently the mp44 is the stg-44 just a different name but i dont really have proof

  • yes I know they are the same

  • When the STG44 was made Hitler refused the design but his officers saw its potential and put it to use under the name Machinepistol 44 (MP44) when Hitler was inspecting troops on the eastern front he asked his officers what they need more of and they said MP44s its then he saw their potential and renamed it the STG44 Or the Storm rifle I think anyway

  • its mp43 not mp44 by th way

  • its both the mp43 and mp44.

basically the same weapon, except they modified small things.
