  • It's too many people with college degrees! The number of people in the population (i.e. approximately 6 billion people) doesn't add up to the small amount of jobs being created!

  • @MrAtheosRecords People made their choice being in debt and have no jobs. It's the economy fault. It's their fault making the wrong choice.

  • "You could lock them in a closet for four years." umm... I think you forgot to give them a few things.. Like food... and air.

  • @Kyensai that so funny!

  • What Marty Nemko was saying is that it is the students who are smart and motivated in making a successful career throughout four years, not a degree after four years. If college made a good choice in selecting committed and bright students with prepared skills and experience, then ther eis a guarantee.

  • @Nel144 Degree doesn't mean anything! Every college is the same! When you graduated college it makes you look better! That's all!

  • REALITY is Like it or not ;

    COLLEGE; - Medical Doctors and Lawyers av. salary - 150.000 -300.000 - Engineer - Architect av. salary - 70.000 - 120.000 - Social science graduate ( must go for Masters) - 60.000 - 120.000

    NO COLLEGE - Factory worker - 40.000 - Tea Party activist av.salary - 25.000 - Burger flippers av.salary - 18.000

  • @TubeExpression that is true which I thank you for sharing this information with people!

  • @TubeExpression those high paying jobs are almost impossible to find these days, and you basically have to pay for those jobs for the 4-6 years of paying for college plus the 4-6 years of your life that you could've spent working

  • @TubeExpression

    Cite your source!

  • @TubeExpression thats not always the case. i work in the heath care field and a few of the doctors ive worked with admit that they dont get paid the average salary people think they make. oh and as far as law schools well they give aprox 40,000 law degrees a year they also claim to have a 90% employment rate but what they dont tell u is even if their students dont get a job in the filed they are still considered to be part of that rate even if they are employed at Walmart! college is a big scam!

  • @morasinlove College gives you the skill though but it doesn't guarantied you a job or success in life.Even college graduated can't get a job sitting around blaming people and the economy. It's not the economy fault which is their fault instead of taking action. Most people in this world have fear! Thank you Morasinlove!

  • You young people are in big trouble that is only going to get worse.

You can't find a job with your degree.

So, now you have to find any job you can.

    Who is your competition?

It is the illegals. They are working for less money than what you will work for. They have ALL the jobs that you could fall back on.

You have been expended by the very people you elected into office.

If you want to change things for YOUR future, you must vote for Tparty candidates. It is your only hope.

  • @wetweasel56 You have to go after something your passionate about and care for people.Nobody cares about your products/services until you care about them!

  • @wetweasel56 thanks for reply back! For things to change we have to change! The government can't take care of us!

  • @wetweasel56 I didn't know you needed a college degree to cut grass or sell tacos :)

  • @Kevin2ks Most of them are in debt because they spend more money on drinks then textbooks! = )

  • People are getting stress these days while studying! Most students spend their time on partying. You gotta find your passion and go after it. =)

  • tthat's correct! College can't guaranteed you a job period! haha

You gotta do something about it and look out for a opportunity!

  • but it is a shame, it takes a B.S. degree to do what a middle school kid can do. and once you get your higher degree, Masters/Ph.d, you become over qualified for most jobs and they can't afford to pay someone with your degree

  • research if the degree your pursuing has jobs in demand.

there's other ways to pay for college besides loans. there is a lot of scholarship and financial aid out there. even ROTC will pay full tuition and guarantee a job after college. the first lady had a hard time finding a job b/c she went to a no name catholic college and got a B.S. of arts in human development. that resume isn't that competitive. she probably didn't do any internships or job shadows

  • @poolie626 yup than get killed after you graduate sounds like a plan :)

  • @123nypd you can get a secure safe job in the DoD that doesn't require you to get deployed. There are plenty of land base jobs for those with college degrees in research and development, teaching, maintenance, culinary arts, you name it. just b/c one joins the military, doesn't mean you're on the front lines. look it up if you don't believe me.

  • @123nypd but hey, don't take my word for it, the more of you who keep your mindset, the less competition there is for guys like me looking for nice jobs in the DoD. so yeah, you get killed after you graduate. >>

  • @poolie626 yeah your right! Gotta take risk and create your own job! College is expensive and getting boss around by professors.

  • So true.

  • Thank you for posting this michael.
