Unbelievable, and yet, of course it is believable - these cops are creating the next wave of young people who will never trust them again - and gee - where;s the justification this time, police officers - are you crazy???
@MrSTANDFORAMERICA your ignorant.. It was a school sponsored dance. They were EXACTLY where they were supposed to be. Only one person was actually arrested for under-age drinking. the other 400 were largely innocent.
There needs to be a reform of the conduct of the police department. As well as a re-evaluation of the legality of situations like this-- not a crackdown on drinking and marijuana consumption.
@chandlerpv20 LOL I read the police reports, it was in a bar. where anyone under 21 is not allowed, school sponsored dance or not. In that police report there were under age drunks caught. being the school allowed under age drink, it should be shut down and boarded up. Those that set up the event knowing and allowing under age drink should get no less than 2 years in jail.
There needs to be reform of the conduct of all school events.
@MrSTANDFORAMERICA I don't think you're reading the right articles. The club found 1 underage drinker out of 350 people. I work at this club and we have a strict policy, we have at least 6 members of security at each bar entrances and even in a few articles it states the fact that our club in particular is strict on ID's and who comes in the bar area. So please, get your facts straight because you have no idea what you are talking about.
Let this be a lesson to Yalies to ALWAYS have your smartphones ready to capture injustice. I should be able to watch this from start to finish and the youtube videos should have titles like "Police Raid Yale Party (View from the North East corner of the room) Part 3" lol. But in all seriousness, this is a ridiculous abuse of power and waste of much needed tax payer money/police resources.
@YaleSoul - Wait - just Yalies - do you not see beyond your campus? You students are getting the support of those far beyond your boundaries - please tell me you have a solidarity for those outside of these lines!!
@120ekk I'm not sure I really understand your comment. I am an alum, not even on campus but since this is a rather Yale-centric video, I assumed that most people reading it would be, ahem, Yalies. Of course everyone should be ready to capture injustices around them, but Yale students are known for being particularly vigilant of encroachment on their individual and collective rights by authority and particularly activist in rebelling against injustice. Hence my surprise at the paucity of vids.
That cop shouting anybody else better get fired. There's very few ways to spin a story to cover that up...and hopefully it's gonna be Rahim or whatever his name is's most profitable night after the lawsuit...
As usual the police cause more problems than there were to begin with.
Huge waste of taxpayer money and resources, kid ends up in a hospital after being assaulted with a deadly weapon, and only one legitimate arrest made for underage drinking.
This is messed up. I've respected cops my entire life and have always been the one to say they're only here to protect us. I've lost all my faith. Thank you, NHPD, for being our enemy instead of the ones to help us.
Dialogue: Yo, he's fuckin unconscious Are you taping this? Yo, they killed rahim. He's on the foot ball team right? Is he moving? No,he... they knocked him out. That's some fucked up shit. Yo these guys are...this is some for real bullshit. Shshshsh! Anybody Else? Who's Next, Who's Next? Anybody Else? Who's Next? Are you serious? His face was bleeding. Let's go, Let's go.

@MrSTANDFORAMERICA Elevate is a club, not a bar. Doesn't matter what the police reports allegedly say, it doesn't change what the establishment is.
