Why don't you actually go there and for an opinion of your own. I was on the ground there for 6 weeks, and saw the devastation that Gaddafi wreaked on eastern Libya. It is on an unimaginable scale. I also saw footage of the rapes, particularly of a female Syrian reporter.

I also saw a lot of migrants who still lived there and had no problems. Mohamed, who lives next to a friend is from Ghana, and has found no problems. He is very well-liked by everybody around.
I also saw a lot of migrant workers completely on the side of the rebels. Go there, and tell me what you see.

@Other299 Gaddafi did already give weapons to people, everybody, even women are armed - it will hard for EXXON; CHEVRON; BP; ELF to get the oil. I PERSONALLY PREFER CHEAP OIL FROM GADDAFI - nationalist media tries to make us believe that "our" oil capitalists are we - no. capitalists never share their profits with the people.

These are civil engineers, taxi drivers, medical students, etc. Regular people who put up with 42 years of unimaginable brutality. People like you in the West have absolutely no context. They're outgunned. I read somethin sayin they have RPG's, AK's, and that's about it. While Qaddafi's bombarding them with rockets that can travel something like 15-25 miles. Kinda hard to put up resistance against an enemy that's 15 miles away when you got an AK.

@ranbrent Yeah, they are. The way they're fighting is so silly; they attack a little and then they run. Some of them don't have a lot of ammo, so, they go out, use up the ammo they have and then run for their lives.
