I think audio of his death should be released. If Timothy dedicated his life to living with the bears and documented it for the whole world to observe, then surely the final conclusion is just as much part as the rest of the film? people should relise that it did end tragically and should be able to witness the full severity of it

Treadwell seemed very uneasy in the last video. He kept glancing from side to side as if concerned about being stalked.
It was very risky to stay so late into the fall, as the bears need to really fatten up to survive the harsh winter's hibernation. Amy and Treadwell became a scarce but convenient food source needed for the bear's survival.
Treadwell seemed obsessive and delusional about grizzly bears. It is not surprising that he and Amy ended up being eaten. Their dumb luck ran out.

In Treadwell's last video, the bear had recovered a salmon carcass, after much effort diving.
We see the bear with the salmon carcass and Amy ducking so that Treadwell can have a clear video shot.

Anyway, the bear was hungry and Amy and Treadwell were easy pickings compared to the salmon.

Treadwell seemed very uneasy in the last video. He kept glancing from side to side as if concerned about being stalked.
It was very risky to stay so late into the fall, as the bears need to really fatten up to survive the harsh winter's hibernation. Amy and Treadwell became a scarce but convenient food source needed for the bear's survival.
Treadwell seemed obsessive and delusional about grizzly bears. It is not surprising that he and Amy ended up being eaten. Their dumb luck ran out.

This guy is basicly is a child. He wants to protect animals because he finds them cute. Yet, instead of protecting, he is harrasing them. He actually got some fish killed by making a easy path were they could be eaten by bears.
He isn't the nature lover you guys want to make him look like, he is just evading reality and living with cute creatures in a fantasy world.

Although he clearly wasn't quite right in his head, you can see he was a good guy that just wanted to help the bears. And really, considering he lived with them every season for over decade shows they arent the heartless predator ppl think them to be. If it werent for his unsual late return he wouldnt have run into a bear that he didnt usually see, and he might still be alive today. he had a heart of gold, its sad to loose ppl like that

The sad part about this movie/story is the fact that a grizzly was killed retrieving the body parts of humans knowingly in bear territory. Not worth it in my opinion.

Why was this allowed to happen? I'm pretty sure we're not allowed to camp in National Parks here at all and we don't have bears or big cats, not even coyotes. There should be laws against people being a danger to themselves.

It's pretty rare to find a person that would sacrife his life for that, yet i agree that Timmy was a bit off, especially at the end though, but he was happy and that's all that matters in the end.

i believe he set up his own death in th hands of his passon, he may have been having arguements with his girlfriend about how she is afraid of the bears he may have found that disrespectful. he filmed her near the end instead of filming the bear, that suggests to me that he and her were not gettng on well and the only way he could really look at her was with his camera.over all i believe he apreciated the freeness of the life of the bears and wished he was as free as them, but he never could be.

one of the last scenes where he stands infront of the place where he died shows it all very clearly. it's all about doing the dangerous stuff noone did before for him. his need for attention killed the girl. listen to him. "u r supposed to place ur tent on an open plane, u gotta not camp right where the bears are..." he even points out how dangerous it is. i wonder if he told her all this or just the camera when she was somewhere else.

Regardless of whether he was crazy or not this movie is about a man with alot of personal demons who for some unknown reason (at least to us) found redemption and eventually his own death with the bears. I can't watch this movie without feeling sorry for his girlfriend Amy.
