@TomBombadil37 I know this is an old comment, but are you implying that the Irish and Welsh were Vikings? If not, are you then implying that the Swedes weren`t? If the latter, i agree, Swedes are pussies.
@Arnebananlolo Pussies? Us swedes along with Iceland, Norway, and Denmark were the true vikings, don't tell me anything else, don't talk shit about Swedes.
For some reason this song reminds me of Ireland. If anyone has been there and just drove around you will understand. Maby it is also cuz the Vikings raided Ireland.
@Catstalker666 Actually it is siad that the Vikings seemed to fit in quite well with the community in Ireland. So perhaps this is the reason Ireland reminds you of the vikings?
Well The Vikings and the Celts did not get along at all i can tell you that. Ireland was invaded in the 800s and Dublin was used as a trading post between the norsemen occupying it the Celts and vikings probably hated each other more than anyone else.
The repeating, prominent melody in this one (first comes in about 1:00) is an actual Viking melody recorded around 1200 in Denmark. The rest is merely interpretation however.
@Grax638 In the Scandinavian languages, it is called something like (depending on dialect) "Drømde mik en drøm i nat" or "jeg drømte mig en drøm i nat" , which means "I dreamt for myself a dream last night".

Irish, Welsh, Swedish, it never mattered who. The Vikings did not discriminate based on national origin -- they were equal opportunity pillagers.

@GitarrSnubben666 Oh come on, you have a tradition of being pussies.
Also, the Icelanders were Norwegians settlers, in other words not worth mentioning.

it's also played in the classical era in a normal game... it's one of my favorite tracks from this game, if not my number 1 fav.
