Gwen's relationship with him would of been over with anyways. Nobody likes to be lied to in the beginning of a relationship. Even if Gwen had been the one to tell him the relationship was doomed.

To me it is hypocritical because in principle transexuals who have sex with other consenting adults (I agree they should make sure a potential partner is aware early on though) are no more harmful than homosexuals having consensual adult sex with each other and yet both are irrationally hated. Gender and sexual orientation are two completely different things. A homosexual being transphobic is no different than anyone else being so.
nonetheless, it is really weird and freak-ish. I can't really blame people for saying it's so creepy and hating so many people like that. =[

To me it is hypocritical because in principle transexuals who have sex with other consenting adults (I agree they should make sure a potential partner is aware early on though) are no more harmful than homosexuals having consensual adult sex with each other and yet both are irrationally hated. They should support each other, strength is in numbers. That doesn't mean LIKING each other or tolerating unacceptable behaviour but still, I think you get what I mean.

what man did she rob of his choice? If you watch everything she was the one who was raped not the other way around. This is a very sad event and a tragic end of a life. I do think that she should have told Joey but he feel in love with her personality. I personally feel that he would love her still no matter what happened if he didnt love her after Joey found out he wouldnt have gone to look for her once she went missing or testified at her trial, he loved the person not the gender.

I think that if she would have had the opportunity (Gwen) to tell Joey things could have been different. I think Joey felt like since the mom approached him and said something like my daughter is my son really made him (Joey) feel awkward.
I do like how Joey stood up for her in the end and well the biker guy too and his friends. Transgender people are no different (on the inside) than hetero people.
