its a piece of crap on wheels how is it going to save people? can it fire man carry, open locked doors,or perform cpr? i didnt think so. make some real robots.

Actually they can, but they are controlled by people. These were robots that were able to "think" for themselves, see them as little human babies that are eveloping slower.

What would be the point? We already have human-contoled machines. This is advancing robotic technology. We need robots that can think for themselves, people can't be there all the time.

I'm thinking that these "rescue" units are a wonderful substitute for a human in a deadly situation- I wouldn't feel too bad about the "Death" of one of these versus a human Fireman or EMT. It would be like crying about the loss of my Snap-On crescent wrench...
