@gunnarhs I don't really see how you can reach that conclusion. Petrosyan was in control from start to finish. He was clearly scoring better, because he passed Askerov's defense a lot better than the other way around. Also, Askerov may have had points deducted for several referee warnings, such as for throws, and a strike to the back of the head.

Roughly estimating, I think not even a third of Askerov's attacks actually scored.

I agree with you in that Petrosyan hits are more precise, 90% of them in the first round. The only deducted points I could see on this video was when Askerov wrongly is counted in first round which Petrosyan wins clearly without that extrabonus. Second round is arguable, most of the hits are bad but I counted more on Askerovs side and he is the man moving forward. In the third round Petrosyan is clearly tired. In the rules known to me, defensive push away kicks dont score points

firstly, that standing down in the first round is just ridiculous. He got hit with one punch, there was no reason to believe he wasn't fighting back or defending himself properly. Secondly, the other two rounds Dzhabar killed him. Armen kept clinching, and then got floored like 5 times. thirdly, ref should have penalised Armen for clinching if its not allowed. If it was allowed, Dzhabar would have floored him the whole game anyway.. Stupidly biased, feel sorry for Dzhabar..

@Basketbaka1031 I m not biased in favour of Armen, I simply consider objectively the match....than it is not possible penalised a fighter for clinching...anyway it is permitted 3 second of clinch and just one blow with the knee. Then getting floored doesn t make point, unless u show to the judges to be stronger and that u prevail on the opponent! In my personal opinion, there should have been an extra round!

@laworderfight Sorry I didn't mean that you were biased, I meant that the decision was biased.. flooring takes the energy out of the opponent, even if it doesn't score, if they are allowed to clinch, then it would have worked in Dzhabar's favour. But when they clinched, the ref would warn both of them, so Dzhabar didn't clinch. On the other hand, Armen kept clinching. This is what I meant should be penalized..

no way guys!!! first of all, the home fighter is always favoured (everybody knows that)! About the match: Ist round for Armen (Askerov has been counted), 2nd round Armen is a little bit better, 3rd round Askerov goes always ahead and he does a little bit better than Armen. How u can consider the match in a different way? It could be different if Askerov wouldn t be counted at the 1st round, but this is not happened!!!
