@kimcheolho because the Saturn had more RAM than the Playstation did so 2D games were better on Saturn than the Playstation like Xmen Vs Street fighter in the playstation version you didnt have the ability to tag out your partners like the arcade version but in the saturn port you were able to.
Wow, way smoother on the Saturn. Still love Grandia even though I played it on the PSX, but I kinda wish I could get the who story the way it was meant to be played: on the Saturn.
Is there a translation for the Saturn version? It'd be cool if you could download a translation onto a Saturn memory card and play this in English on the console, like that Fatal Frame IV patch on the Wii... like with one of those Action Replay carts with the wire so you could put it on there in the first place... and you'd need it anyway to play the Japanese game on an English console...
the only reason why the framerate are speed up it's the Saturn have more ram than the ps1 and more CPU , but the problem with this wonderfull machine is you don't have true alpha blending, and it's always give me a grip that this game didn't release for us and european market on saturn, but Panzer dragoon saga and Grandia and other are still the best RPG experience i have !!!
Even in Japanese, I hate those girls... I had fun beating the ever-living shit out of them not once, but twice. It's a shame I couldn't do it the way the programmers' originally wanted you to experience it... on the Saturn.... what a shame.
im playing the ps1 version for the first time at the moment.this game is not only a solid rpg,it is also very funny.the areas you run through are quite large.wich is cool,cause i love a game that touts GRAND adventure.
This is hilarious 'cause the saturn version is better than the psx version and the dreamcast version of Grandia 2 is better than the ps2 version.

The Saturn version is actually running at a much higher framerate. And a lot of 2D effects are missing in the PS1 version.
