Armstrong's mixture + ferrocerium detonations

how do you make your armstrong's mix? do you scrape off matchbooks and match heads or do you have a source for red phosphorus?

Did you say you wet mix the AM before adding ferrocerium? If so, how do you granulate it again?

Haha I don't hate crisps at all, but it was funny to blow them up =) I wet mix both the AM and the ferrocerium together, then spread it out on a flat surface to dry. Then I carefully brush it off so it turns into fine powder again.

well atleast the most sensitive i know :)

for example NI3 is far to sensitive to handle (just so you get my point^^)

Oh um, I knew the Armstrong was sensitive stuff, but damn. but atleast it's not as sensitive as nitro were existence itself sets that stuff off.

ng actually isnt that bad because its a liquid and its hard to put a force on a liquid(for example when hitting it with a hammer it will just spill out)
