Amely is such a great group of guys, they obviously care about everyone. Getting music involved in schools is so important, I wish that my elementary school had a good one when I went.
I'm in 2 of the music programs at my High School and i totally agree with what Amely is saying. They inspired me to help the DoSomething Cause!! :). Music is my life! im in the Concert choir, show choir, marching band and concert band at my school and it is defiantly my release from my life. And i dont want those things to go away. Thank you Amely!!
I went through all kinds of music programs from kindergarten all the way through my senior year of highschool, and they have immensly impacted my life. Now I am one month away from graduating my college with a degree in music business. It warms my heart to see amazing bands like Amely standing up for music education, thank you Amely.
Amely is an amazing band and they know what they are talking about. Music education in public schools is almost shameful today. Please help out in any way possible, even if its just a video to raise awareness like Amely did.
This is such a great cause for any band to promote. Music education is so important, and it's horrible that schools want to take that away. Amely is my favorite band, and it's awesome that they are supporting a cause I dearly believe in :)
This is such a great cause. I was in chorus since elementary school and joined other music related activities in high school, so I completely understand just how important music education is. I honestly cannot imagine what my life would be like without music. I support this cause and Amely all the way. Keep up the good work=]
This is an amazing cause and I'm super glad to see Amely behind it. I was a choir girl myself and it meant a lot being able to be apart of such an awesome production. My teacher was inspiring if that ended I be sad that others wouldn't get to experience such a great thing like I did. So I so support Amely and this great video. Cause if it wasn't for these things being available Amely might not be here doing what they love.
It's awesome that bands like Amely want to support such a cause. Music education is important and it sucks that some kids are deprieved from having it. I love music and I've learned alot from the music classes I've taken at my school. Great Job, Guys :D
This is a great cause and i am glad to see Amely promoting it! I graduated from high school last year and it was the last year that my school had a music program. I love music, I have been playing the drums for 9 years, and I think that it is an important thing to keep in schools!
It's totally true. Music programs are always the first ones to get cut. =/ In fact, I don't think my high school has any music programs, which is really sad. I don't play music myself, but music in general has had a major impact on my life. I can only imagine what it can do to those who actually play it. I think that a lot of times when there are budget cuts students are only left w/ the basics--and sometimes the basics are not enough. Music is an expression and no should have that taken away.
I truly understand and relate what Amely is advocating in this video. When I was in elementary school, I played clarinet and saxophone and played a benefit concert for Vh1's Save the Music. My school also struggled with funding the arts program and only had three saxes (I was fortunate enough to even play one). Most people don't take extra-curriculars that involve the arts seriously, which really sucks because they're the best programs out there. Thanks Amely for raising awareness! :D So proud!
I completely support this. I love that one of my favorite bands is promoting something I believe in with all my heart. I'm very happy that my school has the funding the keep their music programs up and running because joining the school chorus in 5th grade and continuing it until my freshman year really helped me realize how passionate I am about singing and music in general.
This is such a great cause, I'm glad Amely made a video to help promote. On a side note, their music is absolutely wonderful, keep doin' what you're doin' guys. :)
It's great that Amely is promoting such a great cause! Music is so important in schools and I can't believe that it is always the first they they cut. When I was in school I played the flute, piano, and sang in chorus. This is so important and I really hope that everyone supports their local music program!
I love that my favorite band is promoting my favorite thing in life. I'm a clarinet player in my school's Concert band, and a tenor sax player in my school's Jazz program, and I don't know what I would do if that went away. We have an extremely low budget and can barely function. That's why my sister's entering this contest, and I'm going to be by her side all the way. Bring it on(:
I went to HS back in the 70's and the two things that I remember the fondest are music & sports. The two things I enjoy the most in life today are music & sports. Everything else is important to sustain a lifestyle but music is forever. Please support you local school's music program.
I am fortunate enough to have a great music program at my school. From guitar to orchestra, the arts and sciences are both highly promoted in my town. I feel fortunate that I have these opportunities, and I want every other school to have a music program also. Thank you Amely for promoting Battle For The Bands. Because music can make a HUGE difference in students' lives.
I'm entering this. I'm gonna win this.I'm gonna make the world see how important music education really is. And these guys are the ones who inspired me.
Without music being taught in school, these kids would lose a key part of their defining personality. It's a universal form of expression and a gateway to other important subjects like Petie said. I think the boys did a great job of conveying this message. I really love it.
We need music education (: Music is how I'm gonna get through college. It's my life. I play instruments, I sing, I do it all. But it's hard to really get a chance to find your voice, and your sound when the classes are being cut. Band is all I look forward to, it's my passion. I don't Just WANT it. I NEED it, we need it.. And Thank YOU Amely for taking a stand! ~ Jillian-Beth Van Etten ♥
