The slick feel of you hair when you use regular hair products comes from wax!!!! Beauty for ashes feeds your hair, not polishes it!!! As for the ingredients, mine were listed on an insert in the box that the products came in. It was a tri-fold, and had all the products I ordered listed along with their ingredients. Regular products are engineered to make you think your are helping your hair but you are not.

Have you used the infamous "Jamaican Black Castor Oil" or the Hibiscous Banana Honey Butta by "Curl Junkie?"

B4Ashes product line is made to order, so it does take about 2 1/2 weeks to recieve their products. I ordered the $140 ADP grow system in Jan/2010, the only thing I didn't like is the product life which is 90 days & the ingredients are listed on the website but not the containers.
The shampoo won't lather, & my hair didnt feel stripped. The smell is great, but I think B4A is one of those lines that you have to use continuously for 8 mos to see a change. Its a bit expensive too.

WOW..thanks for this video; you brought up so many great points..especially about all the five start reviews. It's ironic too because I was reading a review for another product and it down talked the product so bad, yet Recommend the Beauty 4 Ashes products; like it was trying to lure you to the product in a deceptive way. Anything that doesn't list the ingredients and can only deal with you via email is suspect. The website was attractive, but I wasn't fooled; you confirmed what I thought.
Interesting...I'm sorry you had a bad experience. I used B4A and loved it...my hair was soft and silky. I only stopped using it because I wanted my twists to stay & they expired by the time I took the extensions out. Nothing has compared to B4A since! The ONLY reason I haven't repurchased is the price and the short shelf life. I guess everyone's hair is different. BTW: I use Abba shampoo which is proven to be all natural/sulfate free and it lathers...a lot!
@mslenah What from B4A did you use that you liked? Cause maybe its just certain lines bc the ones ppl are complaining about is the growth one. I planned to use the ones for curly hair as that is what I have?

I really appreciate your candid review because I couldn't find ANY negative reviews on the internet and that raised some red flags for me. Also I couldn't find any background information on the company like you're able to do with most companies. Again THANK YOU and I will be saving my money for something else.
@luseeedwards- Luseeedwards, you definitely had right to be concerned. I found the same things suspicious, but I decided to go ahead and purchase despite my reservations. I'm SOOO happy I helped you avoid wasting your hard earned money, because they do not give refunds. If you want to buy something that will make your hair grow fast, buy gro aut (funny spelling but thats how its spelled :). I will be posting a review about it soon among other things.
@MsLi512 - Thanks gurl, I will definitely give it a try. I just brought Aubreys shampoo and conditioner a while ago and it is all natural too(and it didn't cost me an arm and a leg either ;) I haven't tried it out yet but I will. But I will love to try Hair one as well. Please keep me posted on your progress.
One more thing! Try a baking soda wash w/ conditioner and an Apple Cider vinegar rinse. It's natural , cleanses the hair, makes hair soft, defines your curls! 1-2 cup water 1tbp baking soda dollop of conditioner: wash scalp & hair rinse with 2cup water 1/4 ACV. ACV will smell strong but smell will go away when you rinse with water. measurements can be altered to your liking. Let me know how you like it!
