This is a good intention but I find studying the "intricacies" and general rules of the redstone system present in Minecraft on the Mincraft Wiki articles to be much more useful on the long run as it enables you to try and process the very abstract information into practicality and THAT is the key to becoming "pro" at anything, including redstone circuitry :)

"For some strange reason" Is hardly a sensible explanation on repeaters' facing, what with them being hybrid delay/capacitor/diode setups...

Anyway, you should explain things useful for wiring things without going into circuitry. Power/block interactions, for example. And actually, OR gates, SR latches amd clocks are pretty damn useful without being really complicated, so you could push in those.

You should explain that red torches invert current naturally, since they default to the 'on' position. Repeaters also cause wire to turn into them like most other inputs now.

Very good tutorial. I personally knew all the stuff in here, except the repeater direction thing, and was actually expecting you to go a bit deeper. I think everything you talked about should be very easily understood which would allow you to do one or two more complicated things.

Not bad for the first one, but i felt you were missing some stuff. Next video, I recommend you do the OR gate, NOR gate, and RS Nor Latch. Also, explain basic legacy clocks, then some with repeaters. Something basic that everyone needs to learn is a T Flip Flop, a compact one. But leave that for the very end. Other than that, not bad!

He should explain the backend of the logic gates and not just point and say "this is an AND gate, and if those two are off, this is on". That's not teaching, that's just pointing out observations.

İ learned this all in 15 minutes by just messing with it withought any information about redstone, now i made a 3 floor stair i use to defend myself against mobs wich i can activate and turn off myself -> everytime's-best-way-method to learn sth. is just explore it by yourself (trying out i mean). I appreciate what you're trying to do, but you could be more thorough.

What I mean is, you'd say something like "A = B, C = D," but you don't explain why.

For example, the AND gate. You show how it's configured, and you say that when you hit both plates the center torch activates, but you don't explain exactly WHY that happens.

I'm just saying that it's more important to teach WHY things work how they do rather than just showing the things themselves. Wisdom vs. Knowledge, right?

Mistake: Repeaters CAN be powered by wire which is perpendicular to the input point.

It's also not strange that they can only be powered from one side, that is by design.

Second, not everyone's rich enough to get a computer capable of perfectly running both Minecraft AND recording software at once. Seeing how Minecraft runs on Java, and that isn't exactly perfect to begin with, laggy recording is a common thing. Even some "up-to-date" computers have trouble running Minecraft.
