Spotting while spinning is not Northern Soul it's ballet, the idea is to become dizzy. Also lifting your feet off the ground during dancing is not correct, the idea is to give the appearance of sliding. The dancer is very good but needs to watch older dancer to get the style correct.

It's not about the unnecessary expenditure of vital energies, it's not about flailing. It's about aligning being and form with the music to the extent that every molecule in the body glows and shimmers with self-contained radiating nova-bomb power. Externally, it's got to have a beautiful look.
I do like the home of Ballroom and Latin dance (Winter Gardens Blackpool), and did go to Wigan, Cleethorpes and Blackpool Mecca in my youth, so please make the Tower the new Casino...The building is so beautiful and kind of old looking much like Cleethorpes and Wigan.
the rumour on this night is that the winners were pro dancers, and confirmed by a friend of mine who dances with them at normal dance comps, i took part my self and got no where.but im not pro, the lad in the black top was the best, the girl it the floral skirt was ok , but all over the show.
