Looking at that actually happen is awful. That could have been a broken wrist, since he held onto the ball. He could have blown out his knee or worse fell face first. His confidence has already been shaken by the fact he's not hitting the condition. He's lucky he didn't hurt himself seriously.

I somehow think what happened was a good thing for this new comer. For a young player, such a first time appearance will be absolutely hard to forget for years. And I think that this memory could help him in many ways in future, not even bowling and TV shows alone. Old saying is, fate(or whichever God to your belief, ) will prepare the worst for the one that is going to be forced to become capable to bear the most heavy burden.

i agree with belmo on what he said about fagan. today i bowled with one of my good friends during a tournament, and we were in the title match, i wanted him to miss some spares, but i wanted him to do well and strike, in which he did and beat me. i was rooting for him the whole time, and glad that he won.
