yeah bud i know all that, im not that dumb. What i was asking was if you used the stripped lower receiver of this airsoft gun and built up an M16 from scratch, so buying a upper receiver, a barrel, the whole firing mechanism, trigger assembly, blah blah blah would the lower of this airsoft gun be able to house and withstand the firing pressures of a real bullet. Given that the lower is the only thing needed to be purchased through a FFL it could be a way felons get around that deterrent. Scary?

Well for one, the only two parts made of plastic on the VFC are the pistol grip and the stock, just like the real deal.

(too cover you UBCS) and two:its cheaper then using chalk rounds, you can get 6000 rounds per bag of bbs for just $13-$16, considering that the military uses low caps insted of those non realistic high cap mags, low caps uses 30 rounds so yeah it will take a wile till bbs run out since they would probubly only use low caps, and another thing the military trains with systemas so there highly realistic, it wont dry fire when mags empty.

You must be stupid he cant get a real Hk-416 because

1)Hk doesn't make civilian version of the Hk-416

2)Real 416s cost about 1200 while this only cost about 600 with every thing you see

3)He would also need a class 3 arms licencse to own it if there was a civilian version (wich he probbaly doesn't have)

P.S. you know the military practices with airsoftguns so are they also a bunch of nerd asses too i don't think so so just shut the fuck up its just a hobby

1: They make semi auto lowers. They're just not available in the US, because of 922r parts count laws.

2: It would be about 1200 for just the upper.

3: He'd need a Class III tax stamp for an FA lower. You could mount the upper on a semi auto lower.

PS: What military were you in? I spent eight years in, and NEVER trained with airsoft guns.

@BurningSaviour training with airsoft guns is a very new thing because airsoft guns like these(i mean quality and power wise) are a very new thing. before this it was plastic springers and 180 fps gas pistols etc

@BurningSaviour 2 years now we are training with AEG rifles. Same weight, feeling and easy to repair. It does fine for CQB and platoon operations. For firing ... use the real 5.56"

1) MR556A1, please look it up...

2) At a gun show you can buy rifles for about half their price

3) You need a class 3 to sell military grade rifles,n not buy, the MR556A1 is semi-automatic, meaning anyone with an ID can have one.

P.S. no they dont, whoever told you that is a fucking liar, they use simunition on rare occasions, mostly for show and tell for the senators so they dont think they are screwing around.

HK is german and teh HK416 is supposed to be the weapon that will replace the M4 as the standard battle carbine, so in order to make it easy for any currently trained soldier to use, its been made with a lot of similarities to the m4 but it is much more efficient and stuff. hope you appriciate my technical terms there, heheh.

i really want an hk416,and a full metal one. i would get a vfc but there more expensive than other makes and have lower grade internals. plus they dont do the model i want. jg do 3, fixed stock, crane stock and standard extendable stock, which are all really good, but not full metal. agm have just started doing what are effectively full metal versions of the JG range. so im getting one of those soon, to replace my JG M4 for outside battles, but itll be too hot for CQC, so ill still use my m4.
