Ok so how much for that package? Also I wonder if it would work with alibre cam software? It does mention ryno 2.0 but im unsure which ryno i have access too. Sounds awsome too hahaha make a terminater !
@jerbearthegr8one Total package is between $1200 - $1500. Add some tooling and that amount will double. Time to assemble could be anything from a week to a year depending on skill and previous experience. Every setup is different so there is always some info you need that no one seems to be able to help with. It can be frustrating but when its working its a fantastic tool. See some of my other videos making parts for motorcycles, rc helicopters & cars, guns, cameras, other tools etc.
@shilka99 Thanks, that actually seems like an afforable package considering powered axis', and according to your monitor you must have 4 axis'. I'll check your other vids out. I do have a Conversational programming workbook for centurion 5,6, and 7 CNC controls that covers everything from drilling a hole to 3d sweeping. It's been about 5 years since I've ran a cnc though :(
What conversion kit did you use? I am making the Stirling Steele conversion on my Minimill. I just added the belt drive, I have a Shumatech DRo I built and next the CNC conversion.
Sweet! I want one! Heck, I'd even take a manual mini-mill!
I would love to have a mini mill and lathe set-up, would make life so much easier and save me a ton of cash. I could make all my own tooling for my wood lathe, like some really nice hollowing tools and carbide cutter tipped lathe tools. Oh how nice that would be!
@rickster348 Sure can. Make sure you use a good tool at the right speeds and feeds though. Try to run it too fast and the head will just flex and ruin the part and/or machine.
hello can you assist i have also got the Kit as you have hear installed and its not set up yet and i not getting movements from the Machine,i learning to program tho i don,t know anything about it ,, i try to learn and trying to find some 1 to help me with the breakout board set up and the march 3 setups .would you be able to advise me .!

can you control the spindle speed and reverse the spindle by using MACH3 ?

@sergiolcjr You need a separate control card from someone like pminmo.com

Did you replace the ACME screws with ballscrews? What torque are the motors?

@brianb192 Send me a message listing all your hardware and all the software you are using and I can help.
shilka99 1 year ago
@piconanoawk Yes I did. The ballscrews and nuts came in a kit for this machine from CNCFusion. The steppers are 387 oz. in. from Keling Technology
