yours shfts alot earlier then mine mine goes all the way to 6700-7000 to shift and do you have the traction control on yours

@vampiana Nope, I sure didn't have the traction control when I owned it. The timing cover started to damn near gush oil out of it so I sold it. I was told my two different mechanics I needed to have the motor pulled out to fix it and the labor was so extensive I dumped it.

hey for your HIDs, did you have a problem when you first installed them with switching back and forth throught the high beams?. because i hadda problem with it and i only had a single beam. and there 6000k right??

I had a 1999 Ford Taurus LX 3.0 145 .h.p. 12 valve engine. Did 110 mph easy. 95 Up steep hills with 6 people in it.

im actualy supprised that it only went 110 i havent maxed out mine but from what i thought these wer elike mini sports cars with their engin size

did your steering wheel come like that, where the buttons light up at night? my '02 Sable doesnt do that, but I know of another one that does.

@cyberboy855 my 03 ford taurus ses the buttons lighted up when u turn yhe lights on ask ford if it does u might need the bulbs replaced

how is it that your car tapped out at 110? im not trying to brag or anything but i was on the freeway the other day and i got mine up to 120MPH

@alenav100 Doesn't top out. there is a governer which doesn't allow it to go faster... it would probably do 130 I think.

@PeterObi im dead serious. i raced my friend's mustang down the freeway for the hell of it (we knew i was going to loose so we did it for the fun of it) and the taurus hit 120 on two of the runs! if that's the case, then i guess my car somehow doesn't have the governor.

@alenav100 I wish it would have gone faster! You could tell that it had more to go, but as you can see in the video that's where it stopped. I don't know how your Taurus got up to 120, but I am jealous!

@DK99824 That's not why cars have speed limiters. Every model car has different or no speed limiters based on the speed rating of the tires that were offered on the particular car.

i sometimes put it on Drive and rape 3rd gear, it gets up to 105 faster that way
