  • It made me clench my jaw so bad that I broke my fillings in half.

  • Does zoloft work?

  • Wow, this drug sucks. It made me depressed.

  • @RWSThe101 that's too bad :( It seems Zoloft (sertraline) has very different effect on people. I tried it and it didn't really do anything except cause some mild side effects.

  • Zoloft for is for anxiety not. Depression

  • @epakerd same shit ....

  • ♥♥♥ Important Good News ♥♥♥

Have you or your loved ones used antidepressants and facing side effects???? Then I have good news for you You will be eligible for compensation Get back to me here I will share details effinnycymnbw @ gmail com Why not get it take action now

  • I take Zoloft everyday and it has improved my life majorly. It's not that I'm always happy. That's not the point. It helps because it's easier to stop thinking about negative thoughts. I don't get anxious around other people. I can now go to office hours at my college because the anxiety of seeing my professors is not there. It helps me do the little things in life which make all the difference.

  • @ChipsterBoxx Have you gotten any side effects? Or any bad side effects from it?

  • Zoloft is heroin

  • zoloft is what eric harris was on one of the colombine gunmen

  • What is the music?

  • I have this dark cloud over my head, too. It's called living in Oregon.

  • Yes Zoloft has side effects, for those talking about it on here. It seems there's precious few drugs that *don't* have them, and it's always been that way. Why, is another discussion for another time (I have my opinions! LOL) Anyway, Zolfot, and any other medication (natural or not) that messes with your serotonin levels and brain chemistry, will have those kind of side effects. Serotonin is a major brain chemical that affects a lot. Mess with that -> get side effects. Cause and effect.

  • Not habit forming, they said.

  • I've had this dark cloud following me for at least 3 years now. I'm so emotionally numb that even Christmas feels like any other day. I guess it beats feeling sad. Every now and then I feel better and that reminds me of the fact that things can get better. I've only tried Zoloft for just over a week and have had some mild side effects so far. Mood hasn't changed much yet.

  • @helgih580 Also be sure you are getting proper nutrition. Take a high quality multi-vitamin daily, and be sure you are eating enough lean protein each day, like egg whites and/or lean turkey. Try to eat enough Omega-3 fatty acids every day (I like walnuts, but you can get them in lots of foods) and at least the USRDA of calcium and vitamin D. Full and balanced nutrition should help your overall mood, or at least help your meds be more effective. Plus a little light exercise probably won't hurt.

  • I like the diarhea part :)

  • This is a good advertisement. Unlike most drug commercials, they at least make an effort to explain its mechanism of action and don't speed up the voiceover when they list off the side effects. I am not saying this drug can't be dangerous, that's why it says in the commercial it's not for everyone. Be educated, not reactive.

  • Two pills healed me.

It worked because it fucked me up so thoroughly and crushing that I stared death in the face. As I recovered I was happy for the simple fact that I had survived and that I could think clearly. It took me weeks to return to my prior state (and I still experience memory loss and headaches). I imagine taking 50 mg of zoloft is what a bad heroin trip is like, and perhaps worse. The vast number of negative effects this drug has on the body is astonishing.

  • @psychointegrator1989 clearly, you've never taken heroin.

  • Comment removed

  • @psychointegrator1989 wow, that sucks. I've heard so many of these stories. I wish doctors informed patients more thoroughly about potential side effects. I think the worst part about this drug is it's long half life, which is roughly 26 hours.

  • @psychointegrator1989 I dont get it, sooo it worked for you?

  • @psychointegrator1989 lol what...i take 100 mg a day. 50 mg of zoloft is not like a "bad heroin trip." for one, you don't "trip" on heroin. secondly, zoloft isn't an opiate. sure, all prescription drugs come with possible risks and side effects, but let's not go overboard here.

  • @janedoe4221 Congrats on being a condescending self-righteous bitch (probably why you have to to an antidepressant, I'd be depressed too if I was l like you), but you have no clue how badly some people are affected by these drugs. These drugs have a multitude of negative side effect/

  • @geargfgeg lol Congrats on being a mouthy prick. You're not a doctor, and you have no clue how many people are helped by these drugs. Sorry you have such a hateboner for antidepresseants--maybe you should try a sedative?

  • @janedoe4221 I only have a hateboner for you, sweetheart.

  • @psychointegrator1989 My doctor prescribed me on Zoloft despite me telling her that I had insomnia and some alcohol dependence. I haven't slept in over a week, I have no appetite and no emotions. So I went to her today and she's prescribed me with Temazepam... do they not interact and can't the combination be used to commit suicide? I'm getting worse and I seriously need help. I feel like I am going down the same road as you did.

  • @Flamestar1989 It's never a good idea to put a drug on top of another drug.. Most people don't benefit from antidepressants. In fact, it's quite possible your reference to using the combination for suicide is a good indicator that you are having a serious adverse effect to the Zoloft. You can get some immediate help that is holistic and works from a Yahoo Group called Withdrawal_and_Recovery. They are used to dealing with people in crisis there. Tell therm Halaluani sent you.

  • @psychointegrator1989 How the fuck did that happen? I doubt it was the drug alone there MUST have been other factors in such a severe case.

  • @psychointegrator1989 I was age 15 when my doctor perscribed me Zoloft. I was depresed, and that shit didn`t work for me. After 1 month I was exhausted and could barely keep my train of thoughts. I had to change school to remove the cause of my depresion. In the end Zoloft just made matters worst....and it tastes like shit!

  • @NewAround92 depression is BS.....if you are sad they tell you that you are depressed and give you drugs and make shit worse...go find a friend that is willing to listen that's all you need trust me

  • @kyuubiflame Thats what I did! I moved school and finally found responsible and understanding individuals. It turned me into a new person

  • @NewAround92 Good job man you should be really proud of yourself and feel accomplished .......that shit should

there should only be a drug to numb nerves only for surgery and 5 others nothing else

.how can tell someone a kid they have ADD/ADH if their parents didn't pay enough attention to them when they where young and wanted attention from their parents...and the parents didn't know to do.that's the parents fault not the child's,shit like that they take advantage of.Inhuman

  • @kyuubiflame You have obviously never been truly depressed. I wish it was that easy

  • @jaredscolton1 everyone has been depressed....you must me dumb or something....i have and i'm not weak or gulible to get some dumbass to tell me i'm sad.....if you are sad which is depression is a fucking emotion.....they don't take blood work or do anything they just tell you that you are depressed

if you know the reason.remove yourself from the problem....that's how you get over your depression cause only you know what makes you happy cause no one knows what you are thinking

  • Comment removed

  • @kyuubiflame

Depression is more than feeling sad. Everyone feels sad and down from time to time. People who are truly depressed have no energy to do anything and find that literally nothing gives them pleasure.

People that have problems that don't change, and cause significant disruption to lives are grouped together as disorders to find what is different about the persons to find a treatment.

  • @mewrox99 DEPRESSION IS A DAMN EMOTION...there is no such thing as a "chemical Imbalance" it's all BS to trick you guys in to taking the drug to get you addicted and make money of you .FIND DAMN MEANING FOR YOUR SELF AND GTFO....you guys trust some fool telling you that something is wrong with you when he's not you at all...ONLY YOU KNOW HOW TO MAKE YOURSELF HAPPY...so stop your self pity party and do something for yourself that how you get over depression.cause i was as well

  • @kyuubiflame All emotions are chemical reactions. You're one person, I have had hundreds of patients on this medication. It's not a wonder drug, it's not even effective most of the time. However, for many patients (well above placebo) it works. It helps them get through the roughest times so they can stick it out through therapy and quit the drug. Therapy takes years, the drug helps them make it to that point. Don't knock what you don't understand.

  • @Kleptin you should be in jail for drug trafficing ....and all those other that have been giving out this shit to kill people...that shit is toxic and you don't even know WTF it really does to someone's body....you pill pushers are pathetic and feed of the weak minded for your own pockets

  • @kyuubiflame

If there is no such thing as a chemical inbalance then why do people who are depressed have significantly lower levels of monoamines and increased MAO activity both of which can be detected in urine? People who are depressed often show significant remission of symptoms when treated with drugs like tricyclics and MAOIs. I'm no fan of SSRIs but to think that depression is "just an emotion" is a bit of a stretch

Kleptin seems to hit the nail on the head

  • @kyuubiflame You can't find out serotonin/noradrenalin levels from blood work! It is a psychological disorder which is why they ask questions about your psychological state. Yes everyone has been sad or gloomy but that's not major depression. Mild depression is the sort of depression I think you're talking about which is more a discontent with your life. This can be solved, as you said, by changing things around. Severe depression requires more help e.g. drugs, counselling, CBT etc.

  • @crazypianolady if there is now biological evidance that something is wrong with that person.then nothing is wrong with them.stop being a pill pusher for your pockets and realize WTF you are doing.you know just as damn well that that shit screws people up cause if toxics that mess with the body.if it did go why are there so many things to look out of after taking it and why are the all renamed ever they are all the same things i'm not stupid i was on ridalin before FRIGIN CAS

  • @kyuubiflame Ok half of that made no sense, but stop being so damn angry! I'm definitely not a pill pusher and believe that counselling/CBT is far more effective for the long term but, economically, pills are cheaper and quicker to reduce symptoms hence when doctors give them out. Of course there is biological evidence, but there's so many causes of depression so pills aren't 100% successful in treating depression.

  • @NewAround92 Why did your Dr prescribe you that?! That was really stupid of him/her as teens are changing fast and there's a high suicide risk too :/ Even the advert says it's prescribed to over 18s!

  • @crazypianolady welcome to the wonderful country of Romania

  • @psychointegrator1989 thats not true for everyone. it has helped me immensely. everyone with anxiety/depression should give it a test run to see if it works for them.

  • @psychointegrator1989 I take 100 mg of zoloft(two pills) and I feel fine.. I think the effect it has on people just varies between individuals.

  • Comment removed

  • @yodudewassp Im not on any medication.

  • Like it or not, while this drug have caused problems for some people, a lot of people have had their lives significantly improved by it.

  • @reallysecretusername well, under Mussolini train run on time. Gaddafi boosted Libyan economics...

but in the end they were still evil.

  • To everyone seeing this, pleas esearch youtube "Zoloft documentary" Find out the truth about big pharma and the damages anti depressives really do to you. Please spread the word. These people should be sued for what they have done.

  • @JunemM Actually no they shouldn't. The doctors and the product itself warn you about all the possible side effects so they are not liable. Also, the amount of people antidepressants help outweighs all the negatives, which is why they still proceed to distribute them. What you are doing here is libeling doctors, which you should be one who should be sued since defamation is highly illegal.

  • I suggest anyone considering taking this drug or any SSRI go to the web site of Peter Breggin and learn about the dangers of these drugs. I was devastated when an immediate family member committed suicide after being on this drug just a few days, until I read the work of Peter Breggin (who has testified at US House Committee and lots of lawsuits).

  • i was proscribed zoloft, it made me even more anxious... boy... i felt like i didn't exist, just a body with eyes, ears and a nose... and i'm still recovering from its side affects.

  • This commercial makes me happy

  • @cWuAnXt OMG A BACHELOR'S IN PSYCH!!!

    a BACHELOR'S, yall!!!

lol Come back when you get an M.D. Or, at the very least, a Ph.D. Until then, you should know that you don't know enough to give prescription advice to total strangers on the internet.

  • just got my Bachelors in psych this spring. any of you people on these drugs for long periods of time are screwed :) there is no physical/biological test to determine a chemical imbalance in the brain. the drugs themselves create the imbalance. the bad side effects take about 10 years to show up. so they pass the 6-8 week test for the fda. drug companies turn people into legal drug addicts and commit legal murder. after paying lawsuits they still have tremendous profits from drugs sales.

  • @cWuAnXt can you say more, please? what are the bad side effects that take 10 years to show up?

  • Do not use Zoloft...It has got serious side effects...

  • hmm, well i took prozac as my first antideppressant, got really depressed, and then got normal, slightly depressed. but i switched to zoloft after half a year, the zoloft so far is fnatastic, i am unable to be unhappy so far.

  • INSOMNIA..........................

  • Doctors ARE the institution. They're identical to governments in that it takes worlds of evidence to prove their criminalistic methods which, as we've seen for quite a long time, is damned near impossible.

  • lol, Seems Like From Alot The Comments I'm Reading Zoloft Fucked With People. It Did The Exact Opposite For Me Plus Altta Extra In a Unique Way.

  • im on zoloft and seroquel.. its horrid..

  • Can't be worse than Seroquel (which put me into a mini-coma)...

  • I strongly recommend against this drug.

It makes you a Zombie, memory loss and passiveness.

There are NATURAL ways to cure deppression please dont be lazy and hurt yourself with that poison.

    Peace.

  • SSRI-anhedonia, impotence, apathy, complacency passive

  • Oh wow I remember this commercial when I was a kid too. I got put on the generic version of zoloft yesterday. Today I'll will be my second dose. As with all prescription drugs their are risks of course. Don't trust your doctor to look out for you, do your research and be ready for anything ahead.

  • I like this music. What is the name of it? Just watching this video makes me happy.

  • I took Zoloft and it gave me a side effect of being hard to bust a nut, sweet drug. Didn't really do anything for my emotional wellbeing tho.

  • I don't like Zoloft. I took it for about three weeks for Anxiety and OCD, and it drove me crazy! I didn't tolerate it very well, and I had numerous manic depressive episodes. I took as high as 100 mg, and it made me feel like I was losing control of everything. I switched to Prozac, and am feeling much better.

  • dude i remember seeing this commercial when i was a kid and now i'm actually taking this stuff and it works for me.

  • give me that Z...o-l-o-f-t

    Give me a grip

    Make me love me.

  • @THEJennifermae

    I'M HAPPY MAN

  • @bobzyurunkul watch the documentary Generation Rx. you'll be surprised at what you find

  • this commercial used to make my son so sad when he was 3... every time this commercial came on he'd get so sad, then so happy, at the end...

  • "Chief among the brain's reactions to artificially elevated serotonin levels is a compensatory drop in dopamine. Drugs producing a dopamine drop are well known to cause the dangerous side effects that are now appearing with Prozac and other drugs in its class. We simply did not know that serotonin boosters had these powerful secondary effects on other neurotransmitters when they were introduced." - Joseph Glenmullen.

  • The reason why people liike SSRIs is because reality loses its sting. You don't worry or care about what people think of you or how you are getting along in life. You're full of confidence and love. That's great, right?

Well, I can't speak for anyone else, but I believe SSRIs have crippled me. It's getting better, but two years after getting off of 200mg of sertraline a day I still sometimes consciously wonder, "What is the emotion I'm supposed to be feeling right now?"

  • @BunkerKing303 I didn't have dreams for about a year afterwards. And that is what it's supposed to do to you. If you like that- not caring whether someone is nice to you or mean to you, treating people all the same- then take it. I think being zoned out made me smarter, but I still regret my mom ever putting me on them. People at my high school thought I was OUT OF MY MIND. Just because you lost your job or girlfriend doesn't mean you need to puss out and quit reality.

  • @BunkerKing303 Ummmm, I call bullshit on your story. SSRIs don't do that. they just allow your brain to function properly assuming you truly do have an issue with the receptors up there. BENZOS are another class of drug which is more what you are describing. Those make you feel something which you truly don't feel. They take away symptoms and are highly addictive. they include Xanax amongst many others.

  • @armyaviationproud Don't call me a liar, you deplenished testosterone PUSSY. Zoloft is prescribed for social anxiety disorders. What I described is an artificial lack of social anxiety. Zoloft did what it claimed to do for me, but in the scheme of life no one should want that effect. That is probably why antidepressants are recommended at low doses for only short periods.

  • @armyaviationproud As to "issues with the receptors up there", science has not ever proved such a thing. Psychology is unique among sciences because all of its so-called diseases cannot be called diseases at all. Psychiatric problems, that you claim comes from physical problems in the brain, are classified as disorders, not diseases. A disorder is only a group of symptoms that are PRESUMED to be related.

  • Generation RX.... Damn shame what this poison has done to people.

  • @ArtCastro85 Medicine is great if prescribed and taken properly along with psychotherapy. Drugs on their own do not fix people. You have to use both. Every medicine is different first starting off with it's classes. SSRIs make the brain function properly while BENZOS are more dangerous and take away the effects, but they aren't truly curing you. They just take away symptoms temporarily so you can cope. It is sometimes acceptable to take a BENZO along with an SSRI until the SSRI actually starts

  • @armyaviationproud working because I know Zoloft takes a couple weeks before it kicks in. When that time begins, stop taking the BENZO and you'll be good to go. Go through your counseling as well and in time, hopefully can be a new person like you should have been all along. I've suffered from depression for over 12 years and the combination of BS in my life has of course been a big part of that, but at age 23, I made the decision to finally get help and i'm on my way to recovery.

  • @armyaviationproud "Patients are often explicitly told they have such a disease, usually to justify treating them with medication. But when one looks closely, all the disease models are built on three pseudoscientific cornerstones: superficial checklist diagnoses, putative "biochemical imbalances," and alleged genetic determinism." - Joseph Glenmullen, M.D. You're a fool, armyaviationproud, and are going to be responsible for many peoples' diminished qualities of life.

  • haha ok so i took zoloft and i was like soo calm and doing random stuff it was fun at first until i woke up and i started thinking how can i kill my self and i kept thinking it luckily i have enough will power not 2 do it but like sure it may work for some but not for me it also made me feel stoned without the humor.

  • the logo is fake the Zoloft logo is all caps not like in this ad

  • Just got prescribed this.. really hope it works for my anxiety too

  • omg... i've never seen so many keyboard doctors in the same place before....

  • @anebt Yeah i am working with a doctor. And also it is true that i need to ask him, But doctors Usually dont mention a few things... Soo I'm just asking.

  • i just started taking zoloft, Yesterday was my first pill.. Anyone recomend i shouldn't take it?

  • FUCK Zoloft ... EXTACY FTW!

  • @anebt i started at 25mg, which after 4 days was enough for me... i couldnt sleep, and i could do nothing else but think guilty thoughts and really thought i was going nutts... honestly after 4 days (which on the 5th i was mean to start taking 59mg) i had had enough... i stopped taking them, then and there, and i realize now that wasnt a good thing to do, as u need to give about 3 weeks for any anti-depressant to enter or release from the body..... hmmm

  • has anyone else experienced servere lack of sleep (ei 3 hrs of broken sleep per night or less) not being able to eat, only drink for a few days and eventually spiralled into a servere nervous breakdown (also serveral suicide attempts in a 2 short period) after taking this horrible medication?

  • there is no scientific evidence that psychotropic drugs actually do work

  • I take this for OCD, and it give me some weird ass dreams.

    I had a dream I was being drowned by a Neo-Nazi in a pool/restaraunt last night (I'm Jewish)

    soo yeah.

  • @invaderellie113 hahahahah i'm sorry but that's extremely funny and sooo random. any more funny dreams since then?

  • @sill313 It is, I havent had that many, but I'll message you if I do XD

  • I'm on this for OCD and it makes me crazy...er.

  • Zoloft doesn't do shit for me. It makes me feel worse. I'm coming off of it slowly by myself.

  • i used to take zoloft and it gave me thoughts of suicide. dont take it, you might try to kill urself. i tried to overdose on this stuff once... dont take this irresponsible drug!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @TheAspieKid

The drug has different side effects for different people. Everyone has a different brain and some drugs just aren't for people. But I wouldn't go advising anyone to not take Zoloft...I've been taking it for almost a year now and I've never been happier.

  • @allie93nc I was recommended to take 25 mg , which is your dosis ?

  • zoloft, im on it now for hypochondrias OCD

  • prozac does the same shit...and i had some weird ass dreams... @_@

  • made me have zaps like electroshocks in my brain, weird dreams, convulsions, i fainted once, turned my depression into something much more horrible. I dont recommend it ... You can become easily addicted to it and withdrawal is HORRIFYING. Of course they won't say it, corrupted bastards all they care about is money and what about all the underaged kids around the world hanging themselves on this drug? Of course they dont care.

  • I love zoloft.it changed my life!

  • I thought about going to a doctor for anti-depressants. Then my roomate gave me some marijuana! :D

  • zoloft fucked me up :(

it made me hear and see horrible things :(( i dont recomend it

  • @residentevilnerd The only thing these drug companies care about is money. The side effects of some of these drugs is a lawsuit waiting to happen. Never trust the drug companies. Side effects may include birth defects, hallucinations, and three-eyed fish when dumped into lakes and rivers. Ask your doctor if it's right for you. Hm. Sounds too scary to be right for me. "Who cares?! Give us more money!" says the company that makes Zoloft.

  • people are suing this.. wth?

  • I couldn't wait to get off zoloft. fucked up my sex drive and made me emotionless. luckily when i got off it the depression hasn't returned. I don't believe that shit about it not being habit forming. take it for a decent period of time and then stop and see how you feel. electric shocks in the brain, panic and extreme dizziness

  • @psytaco i'm on zoloft, and i jerk off everyday

  • @psytaco hey man how long were you on it before you got off? have those side effects gone away and are you coping ok without the zoloft? Iv been on it since i was 11 i think and want to try to get off it this summer so any words of wisdom would be appreciated.

  • TRY CHEWING YOUR ZOLOFT INSTEAD OF JUST SWALLOWING IT. IT MAKES YOUR MOUTH NUMB :-)

  • Me and zoloft get along just fine

  • I love the fact that when they show the nerves, they have to add 'dramatization' at the lower section of the screen! Is that in case the Americans get confused?

Also, the person is seen as a large bouncing ball. Is this a symptom/side effect of 'Zoloft' , or just part of the fact that an overwhelming percent of Americans are obese?

Having spent 3 months in America (hence my user name (ZIP code for Titusville FL)), I can very well understand why some are depressed!

  • Only gave it 5 stars for the video quality. Zoloft didn't work for me. It made me worse.

  • Its pretty bullshit.. or maybe I should up my dose ;) lol

  • Zoloft is the best!!!!!!!!!!!

  • "I killed my wife - the zoloft tablets were too strong", says one seventy-six year old man accused of brutally murdering his wife of fifty years. Phil Hartmann was gunned down by his wife. She too was taking zoloft. approved for depression, panic attacks, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). side effects of zoloft (and all selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors, or SSRI's) appears to turn otherwise ordinary citizens into homicidal maniacs.

  • @CheekiMnky "Elevated serotonin is found in: psychosis, mood disorders, organic brain disease, mental retardation, autism and Alzheimer's. While low levels of the metabolism of serotonin (which also produces high serotonin), are found in those with: depression, anxiety, suicide, violence, arson, substance abuse, insomnia, violent nightmares. The drugs increase serotonin and decrease the metabolism of serotonin leading to any and all of the above results." - Dr. Ann Blake Tracy

  • Fuck the meds, I'd take the lil tweeting blue bird, however! :)

  • my dad forced this on me when i was sleeping.

  • Ive been on this stuff for about 3-4 days and I feel awesome already.I can now drive and go to places without feeling like everyone is staring and feeling all anxious and stuff.Btw I have social anxiety and so far it seems like everything is better now.

  • i got prescribed zoloft for anxiety. it was pure bullshit. helped me not one bit.

  • What a bunch of incompetent, sob story-telling whiners. Oh, you've had a hard day? I'VE HAD A HARD LIFE! You couldn't believe the tears I've cried--I could grow crops with my tears. Well guess what? TOUGH SHIT.

Now quit being such a bitch and go out and make something of yourself in this world. Yeah, it's hard, but the fact that you have a computer and the time to read this comment means that you have what it takes to make something of your life.

    TOUGHEN UP, YOU BITCH!

  • @SagaciousSilence Hah! Good luck hydrating your crops with all that salt! You call yourself a farmer?

  • @SagaciousSilence Hah! Good luck hydrating your crops with all the sodium in your tears! And you call yourself a farmer?!

  • @SagaciousSilence You're pretty terrible at trolling. You need to learn to choose topics and websites that haven't been overdone.

  • Zoloft made my face a fucking blimp... It made it so swollen it was ridicilous, I had hillucinations, and i had to be sent to a suicide protection ward! It made my emotions disappear, and made my inspiration for my writings nothing! Zoloft is a terrible terrible drug... for me at least.

  • no proof that these drugs work.more than likely they do more harm than good

  • @AdamAdidas909 Less than likely.

  • @SirSmokeify well theres kids hurting themselves who arent on zoloft or what not anyways...we are all in the same struggle out here...everybody on their own...for some its not necessary but for others unfortunately it is...i do hope that we learn to come together though instead of falling apart...theres alot of people out there who need help...

  • @SirSmokeify thats always the risk...all drugs have a side effect...not a single one doesnt have a side effect...when youre going through anxiety attacks and stuff like that its very and i mean very difficult to stay strong but we try...

  • @SirSmokeify thats kool...that may be the case but it proves my point right...youve never experienced such an experience so your insight is about as useful as a placebo too...i hope you never do experience such a thing either but for people who may need to take such a medicine its not very helpful to them to come on here and have people whom cant speak from experience say what can happen and so on and so on...we already know that it comes with risks...some people have no choice believe it or not

  • @SirSmokeify who says its my medicine...i might have to go on it but for now im fighting this on my own without any medication...youve see the effects first hand but youve never tried it so dont talk...and as for your xanax sure its good at making htem go away but it doesnt mean theyll stay away...taking xanax for that means that you can become reliant on it as long as your attacks stay it doesnt fix anything...and it is also a powerful narcotic...

  • Go to a holistic doctor. Psychiatry is a scam. They give Ritalin to two year olds and prozac to puppies.

  • @SirSmokeify why dont you just shut up...maybe you havent experienced an anxiety attack or anything of the sort thats why you talk the way you do but for those of us who have it is a serious matter...have you personally taken zoloft yourself???

  • I have bad anxiety and panic attacks from time to time, should I talk to my doctor about taking zoloft?

  • Teachers and cops always said say no drugs. You never listened and took Zoloft. drugs are drugs no matter in what form and no one really knows what they do to the inner workings of your body.

  • @SirSmokeify Do you know how many people take Zoloft? Over 29 million people. It's made for people 18+ years old by the way. Just because a bunch of fucked up kids decide to take an anti-depressant and can't control their emotions doesn't mean all doctors and scientists are trying to conspire against you. That just means it didn't work with their brain/bloodstream/system. I personally had a bad reaction to Zoloft so I stopped taking it. Those "kids" should have done the same.

  • @SirSmokeify It's people like you that cause school shootings or make kids commit suicide. Instead of supporting people you kick them while they're down. Good shit.

  • yup, I Love Zoloft.<3

  • The people that are bitching need to realize that this drug isn't for everyone. This is my first day taking it and the side effects were overwhelming but I'm going to keep going for a week and see if the side effects lessen or get worse in which I will make a final decision. If you're still taking Zoloft and don't like the side effects (ejaculation problem) ... you're an idiot.

  • fuck that, smoke a joint. Cheaper and lesser side effects.

  • @Fearosius For some people, weed relaxes their nerves, but for me and others like myself, it fucks with our anxiety and makes it worse. Again, different people have different reactions and I thought I'd share mine: extreme paranoia, shakes, racing thoughts, and panic attacks.

    Fuck joints.

  • whoa! isnt taht the little birdy from Twitter????

  • it helps. takes like 10 weeks to kick in witch is gay. and i wouldnt take it more then a year

  • Imbalance my but, its your body telling you: get off your ass, your life its being waisted do something!! do it now!!

and then this Drug dealers convince you with this commercials to get hight and forget about it!

You tell your body sit down and shut up!

This is right out of Zombie movies... don't fall for it people, save your money and go to Thailand or the North pole do something ground shaking and you will get your natural happiness back! for good.

  • I don't see why so many people are so up-in-arms about this commercial. All they did was simplify the monoamine hypothesis of depression so that a more mainstream audience could understand the drug's mechanism of action. WHAT'S SO WRONG WITH THAT???

  • Can cause Insomnia and sexual side effects? FUCK THAT!

  • dont believe this propaganda!!!! it is just a bussiness. There is no scientific proof that any antideprasants helps at all and they are deadly!
