Okay so i got this game in the mail the other day and i'm in ch 5 and SEVERELY underlvld (Vash is 22 Leanne and Zephyr are both 17) can anyone tell me a fairly quick way other than switching their weapons out to lvl them faster before i go to get the Barberella's wine bottle?

I made it right now(after some hours farming the blue hexes) and it really worked!And I am in chapter 8!Also,I have a hepfull information about farming the blues hexes:On level 8,are one terminal that double the rare item drop rate,and if you active it with the "closed road hexes" in that level,you can farm an average of 3 blue colored hexes in every battle!I was almost giving up when I discovered this,so,that really helped me out.

Try to kill the leader for last.For me it worked...I earned 2-3 blue colored hexes for battle.

After you've done this guys, also connect the blue hexes to Patertopolis! If you give your characters the weapons they're weakest with and fight the mad goliath (killing it then leaving and re-entering the area) you'll level up at a very fast rate (:

I think the mad goliath won't be there until after chapter 7 though? or 8, when it is unlocked.

=( hi dear u were a greaaat help for me but i have a big problem = =" i opened the item rate drom from lvl 5 and scratch damage and 1.5 item drop from lvl 4 and i opened the terminal that gives me 1.5 xp but when i did open the terminal effect amp all the effects of other terminals faded away when i click start and the colored hex i used stopped glowing>< when its glow that means all terminal are connected ? + i did connect this one with the other one to the arena still its not working T_T

@Cluthinator I say about Chapter 7 is the earliest you can do it. Sin that when the Arena goes up to Rank 23 which gives 3 silver coins. And that when you get to fight some enemies that drop purple Hex that is require to get the  1.5 EXP and double effect terminal to active. And you can farm some Blue or Green. I am using Green sin I had grind a bunch in Chapter 5.

Great vid man! Question though; I just started this game after hunting for it for about 3 weeks, and is it supposed to be as difficult and frustrating as Demon Souls was? I cant seem to beat these bosses that are 54 while im 26. Go back and farm?

@JohnJohn742 just upgrade your machine gun to deal more scratch damage, i always use many bezel shard with the scratch gunner to deal as much SC-DMG as possible before attacking it directly(direct dmg)!!

Oh damn... I have a problem... because I'm basically a noob when it comes to terminals, I kinda just left them alone. Then, I decided to connect the terminals in level 5 to get the item drop and luck effects activated. BUT I used a different color hex (the mustard yellow). Could I just use the teal hexes and cover them?

This is a very good game, probably one of the best RPGs of last year (besides FFXIII and Alpha Protocol), but it is very tough. It's manageable, though. I'm on Chapter 5, and I'm slowly making my way through this game. I find the difficulty refreshing in a way, it makes me a better gamer. Any tips I can get will help!

@ma3oony There must be other terminals (on Lv 4/5/6) that you have connected accidentally. Find them and disconnect them. Make sure that you only activate the terminals: Experience and Effect Amp.

item drop rate x1.5 +

item drop rate x2 +

rare item drop rate x2 +

charge speed x2 +

gained experience x1.5 +

other terminal effects x2 .....

if there are some other advices plz tell :)

@AngryUrukHai Well you can spread your colored hexes on Level 5 (Forest Road of Idols) and Level 4. There are enough place to fill there. Just link the terminal with the elevator to Level 5 and you can continue there. ;)

@yurimanga There is no really efficient way to level up early in the game. And to be honest it's not necessary to grind in the beginning. Just customize your weapons, do some battles in the Arena and use special ammos if the boss has weakpoints... Or just watch my Boss Battle videos. They might help you. ^^

@RobinTorwart92 You have a bestiary in your home in Ebel City. You can check there, which enemies drop them and where they are. The locations are:

- Mine 24 (Level 11)

- Closed Roads (Level 4, Level 6 on Worldmap)

- Deserted Blocks (Level 7 on Worldmap)

- Basilica (Level 1, available in Chapter 16)

- Aetersyl (Level 1)

it was pretty risky. at first u can die if u just make one mistake.

but after u get the Golden Guns. enemies are SOOOOOFT.

PLatinum'd this in 120 hours.
