Pese a que nunca fui muy seguidor de esta serie, cada vez que por casualidad la veía y salía Leroy me quedaba "pegado" a la TV. Me encantaba verlo bailar, una vez lo vi a torso desnudo y su físico simplemente me impresionó, parecía un verdadero monumento danzante. Era precioso. Es una lástima que un chico tan bello y talentoso se haya ido a tan temprana edad, pero bueno, eso sirve para que siempre lo recordemos así, joven, fuerte y hermoso. Estés donde estés, tus fans nunca te olvidaremos, Gene.
I was not only in love with this fine speciman of a black brother, but he ignited my passion for the art of dance. I will never forget going to the movies to see Fame. I could not keep my eyes off of him. I was hoping that one day I would get to thank him for inspiring me. Fame is still one of my favorite movies. I had to see every episode of Fame the series. Gene, you will always be in my heart. Thanks for touching my life. You will be grately missed.
Hi there!!! Gene (leroy) was kind maybe one of the caracters I´ve love the most.... and I gues I used to see him, expecting some of his talent went trough my tv and touched me... Wonderful, wonderful times.. thanks for the chance to remember them!!!

i am 63 and saw the movie and then watched the tv series. i am so sad that he is no longer with us-he was a great dancer and i know a really good person. the tv series is back on tv and i am watching it again! i just love leroy(gene) and this is a beautiful song!! thank you soso much for this great tribute to gene anthony ray!!!
