dude. I just bought myself an 88 today with the 18 1/2" barrel. I am also a lefty. I am so pumped to go shoot it tomorrow. Can't wait!

the recoil with the slugs isnt that bad if you have a good stance. i used sellier & bellot sport slugs

@im4ak2 when you start shooting the 3 inch Mags they will start to get to you after a bit. When i was sighting in the scope on my mav 88 with a rifled slug barrel after the 8th or 9th round they started to hurt lol. I was using 3 inch Federal Hydroshock Magnum Sabot Slugs and they got some kick to em. Alot more than most buckshot does thats for sure.

i like this shotgun because its not a disadvantage if your a leftie. i think its even easier to load from the sidesaddle

It looks like the 20'' barreled 88, with the mag extension thats flush with the barrel.

The 18'' is not flush.

yes it is a 20" barrel 88 but the magazine tube is one piece

i bought it in switzerland so its a lot expensiver than in the USA. I paid 450 Fr. thats about 430 Dollar or so
