  • Hey um, i have this program and when i have a clip, it won't allow me to put the recorded files in windows movie maker, help please?

  • @PkRegularly Well- Movie maker ON:Y Supports .asf, .avi, .wmv .asf, .wm, .wma, .wmv Movie/Video file extensions. Make sure its set to save as .avi ..THEN you can import into movie maker.

  • @855h0le Thank you for the response, much appreciated. Gave the video a thumbs up.

  • does it record audio?

  • @indisinghsunner96 yes- I recall correctly- You can save it right into MP3 format.

  • @855h0le thank you

    :D

  • Hi im kind of a newbie but I have a project SAVED, as a project. I need to make it so I can move it to WMM for voice narration. Please help? Step to step would be very helpful as this is my first time using this program

  • @TheCh00b I will leave a note and by tomorrow i will have that info. displayed here..

Its in 2-3 steps. MUCH like the Directions I gave SAMMA1324 in Comments--

  • @TheCh00b First Open STUDIO- On Task List (Left Pane) IMPORT MEDIA-

Go to where the Projects are Saved in Camtasia Folder (My Documents area)

Go to PRODUCE in Lower Left Pane - Change to a USABLE Format. A BIG WIndow WIl pop-up with Options. Cd/Ipod/Media Player/SWF etc-this is where you make that conversion.to .WMV Format (windows media format) Or choose AVI (Avi is better)- Whic is Under the CD Icon. Then open with WMM after.

  • how do I convert camtasia files to mov, swf or mpeg files?

  • @samma1324 On the LEFT Pane: Choose: Change to a USABLE Format. A BIG WIndow WIl pop-up with Options. Cd/Ipod/Media Player/SWF etc-this is where you make that conversion.

  • Guys check my video out its how to get Camtasia Studios 7 FREEEEEEEEE

  • I know how to record. I just want to know how to bring a screen recording into Windows Movie Maker using Camstasia Studio v7.0. Or v5 because it might be the saem

  • @Pr2ruler Okay- How that works is when you save the recording [In Camtasia] NOT as a Project but as a POST-SAVE Options- Select * Produce My Video in a Shareable Format.

Save it as a .avi , ..wmv only. The Movie will NOT be in "My Videos" but in the Camtasia Folder. As from there you IMPORT Movie in W.M.M. Left Pane. This is how you accomplish that. Did I explain it well enough?

  • @855h0le Rendering now ill let you know if it worked
