  • Excellent job on this song! At least as good as David's, maybe better. I only wish there was a CD quality recording of this one....and many others you sing. Do you play anywhere, or have you? You're very good! Thanks for sharing.

  • buddy, your`re alright, you sound like an American Idol winner. I wish I could play and sing half as good as you. maybe your're relaxed with your life and don't want to complicate it with all that annoying stuff that goes with it, but rest assured, you could make the bigs anytime you please.

  • rock on

  • That brings a tear to my eye! And it's true, we all started out like that!!!

  • top song

  • Awesome!!! you're great!!

  • your a great singer

  • David Allan Coe is without doubt the greatest of all time and you did a great version..

  • NICE SONG MAN

  • You did a great version of this song!

  • Great song, and cover, Gerry! This cracks me up cause I used to have a Honda, and this buddy of mine who had a Harley had to borrow my Honda to use for the test. He said that no way he would have passed with the Harley. It was too hard to ride.

  • Johnfern99, your buddy doesn't belong on any bike if he thought a Harley was too hard to ride.

  • What I meant was his bike was chopped with a long fork. And the course they make you ride to get your rider's license has the cones very close together, so it's a lot easier with a regular bike. He was a new rider, so he didn't want to take a chance on failing.

He passed with my bike and was back on his chopper for the road.
