  • Looking back, that was one giant clusterfuck. But I loved WCW at that time lol.

  • this match was more like a big ass fight more than an actual battle royal

  • heres a random battle royale. butt waitt its random legss walking to the ring.!! oh my its macho man! hes beating upp the whole group. ohh heress bret chair shot. flair with figure 4 on douglas. waiitt russo somehow hits wrong guy w batt. wait russo hits hogan. hogan goes head first into a table. bishoff raises kidmans hand! wait jarret and ddp are climbing the scaffel for some reason. whos cheering for whp? idk. good night everybody

  • so what this storyline does is say the millionares club is setablished stars and the new blood isnt and then take one member from the stars and single handedly beat all the members of the new blood. great

  • @akra1dernation we tune in every week to see talentless main eventers though bro, not knockin your statement, just saying, the talentless guys you talk about are doing an amazing job... cmon, CM Punk, R Truth, Miz even doing well and i hated the Miz, Wade Barrett, Christian, who they arent burying, but making his storylines alittle more odd bc i watch him every time, Dolph Ziggler and Cody Rhodes, WWE is doing a very good job with what they have now

  • More like the Nursing Home Bingo Club...

  • one thing is for sure the wcw had some shit entrance themes

  • Bacj when hulk was a FUNBoy!!!

  • RIP MACHO MAN OHHHHHHHHHHHHH YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

  • sucky booking but look at the star power,Flair, hogan, hart, jarrett, nash, savage, ddp, shane douglas,candido,kidman..all the people that we wish still ruled the ring

  • the fact they ended this storyline abruptly is so retarded

  • wwe jumped the shark about 8 yrs ago.

  • Macho Man went ham in this. R.I.P. Macho Man. Long Live The Madness! SN: Wasnt this Mach's last tv appearance in WCW?

  • RIP Macho Man, Randy Savage

  • The beginning of this I was singing the "Staying Alive" from the Bee Gees...anybody thats seen the beginning of Saturday Night Fever know what I mean lol

  • Russo is so fuckin' stupid how do you hit the wrong guy? He was laying on the mat helpless in the figure 4 for christs sake. FAIL!

  • Look how many of these guys are dead now Mike Awesome, Chris Candido, The Wall. Sad.

  • no one.....NO ONE throws a punch like macho!!!..O YEAH!!!

  • @akra1dernation tht was basically the invasion anglelol

  • New Blood= a bunch of no names from the power plant they tried and failed at putting over

  • WCW destroyed Bret Hart's career.

  • how was eric bischoff creating thursday night thunder a waste of money and bad business? Look at wwf when they first made smackdown no one said that smackdown was bad?

  • A complete joke. Russo was literally making stuff up on the spot at this point. I don't watch much tan ,but from what I've seen, they re going down the same road as wcw. I went off wwe for a long time, but I've started watching again recently. The pg13 stuff is annoying, but the in ring product has improved big time. Lot a good younger guys coming theough

  • wcw was just plan weird!

  • To be honest he was going crazy but told the truth "it's over for these guys!"

  • LMAO! Look when hogan suplexed kidman at 5:02 XD

  • @RyuHayabusa751 that was the basic reason why i always pushed for the millionare's club too. lol. i never liked the new blood. not one of them can match the charisma the guys from the millionare's club had.

  • kinda hilarious how wwe has revived the new blood storyline and called it the "nexus"

  • @VoorkJTV

    not the first time.

    tna did the m.e.m. also

this is a classic storyline that has been done many times.

  • @theraVen27 The WWE is doing it RIGHT NOW with all that Nexus crap.

  • @ThaOneChrisJONES the nexus is more of an equivalent to that natural born thrillers of the WCW period

  • @SRPC21 It was just another thing on the long list of stupid things WcW was doing at the time.

  • @ThaOneChrisJONES

    stupid things?

i feel that this was the one thing WCW should have done 3-5years earlier.

  • @theraVen27 I wasn't talking about what's happening in the video. Someone mentioned how Flair and Lugar were suppose to be good guys, but later attacked Hogan ( as bad guys ) during his match. But then later in the night were good guys again.

  • the best era of wcw was november 99-march 00. this was when they were pushing the younger talented stars (hart, benoit, goldberg, jarrett, and vicious) while the older washed up guys (sting, luger, nash, hogan, and flair) were either injured or were wrestling on the mid-card. russo and bischoff came in, and they were immediately pushed back in the world title picture. when this angle ended, they immediately pushed booker to the top, and steiner finally won his well-deserved world title

  • This angle could have worked but what I don't get is why Flair and Luger would interfere against Hogan in a PPV a week later as bad guys who hated him when they were meant to be on the same side- and then later in the night they were good guys again as a tag team against the New Blood. It didn't make sense...

  • All this talent, but no direction. What a shame

  • WCW 2000: a heel turn, interference and title change every 10 minutes

  • so incoherent... like tna, but with more wrestling than tna

  • I'll take it twice over today's WWE. I actually did watch it twice because there was so much going on and I wanted to see Hogan crash through the table again.

  • Russo and every lousy cocksucking motherfuckers in WCW who were their that year could go FUCK themselves cause they just didn't make any sense whatsoever. All they did was get high and come up with Seinfeld storylines all about nothing but their dicks for that matter.

  • Vince Russo i say was the final straw for WCW to RIP!!......n what does F.U.N.B. on Hogans shirt mean?

  • @OtakuJdm it stands for Fuck U New Blood

  • @OtakuJdm Fuck U New Blood.

  • lol, "pan up! Show us who it is!", Wrestling announcers are such tools

  • Were most of the match, I remember madusa came out in the match

  • The controversy of Hogan leaving WCW in 2000 was because of Vince Russo. Hogan was being high and mighty during his run in WCW and Vince Russo wanted nothing to do with that,he was trying to push younger guys and said fuck the old farts

they are past their prime. But Hogan was TOO STUPID TO REALIZE THAT

  • @jcp1977 Yeah Russo was trying to push younger guys like Billy Kidman and Jeff Jarrett by having Hogan job to them. I'd say Russo was the stupid one to think the fans wanted to see that. Jarrett was never a big draw as champion and never will be.

  • which thunder was this date

  • yeah when we come at this point, you know a company is dying

  • When macho came in the ring, he was giving fake ass forearm shots and they was just dropping like flies LOL

  • sad thing is...had they stuck with this angle, and gotten the old guys in, talked conract renegotiations, etc, i think they could have kept WCW going, and wrestling would be better for it.

  • thunder-vision?! lmao

  • @mrreedy

    AND WHY IS THAT FUNNY?

they called the turnertron as nitro vision duringwcw nitro and thunder vision during wcw thunder

  • This was just confusing as hell. Way to much was going on

  • @BadBoy47 sad part is that this isnt even half of it... i have this on video... it was much worse at the start.... at least 60 ppl in the match.... even some the ladies got involved

  • @hundoe100 sounds like typical WCW bullshit wrestling.

  • All I saw was a bunch of missed camera shots and bad cuts from one thing to another. I know you can't get everything but why not actually show Flair actually putting on the figure 4? This could have been done much better.

  • See there was too damn much going on here. Yeesh.

  • Why the hell did Schiavane (sp) call Hogan Terry Bollea? I know it's his real name, but why?

  • @krazygreen at the time Hogan was trying to go back to his original name, and restart his acting career, so they called him both names for a short while

  • wcw was a big mess here they were trying WAAAAAAAAY TOOOOO HARD

  • this video is ridiculously complicated. wcw had too much going on at the same time.

  • One things for sure, when Russo wasn't around wrestling entertainment took a nosedive. Example? Look at WWE today, doing the type of ratings WCW was doing in it's down swing. What went wrong there eh? They lost 3-4 million viewers in a couple years.

You can't deny that he had a big hand in the success of wrestling. You guys should read Russo's books, good stuff and you can clearly see wtf was really happening behind the scenes.

  • @PhantomChao717 Your an idoit! Vince Russo was the biggest blight on wrestling history ever!!! Even worse then Eric Bischoff and thats saying alot!

  • @Lfdjake91 Well one thing's for sure, Russo still has a direct impact on the wrestling business and is making good money off of it, while the haters will keep bitching and accomplish absolutely nothing.

  • @PhantomChao717 True. We have been bichin' for years and that clueless assclown still has a job booking wrestling.

  • @Lfdjake91 Thats true, but I doubt he's making "good money" like that guy says, The majority of the TNA wrestlers barely make more than a person would make @ minimum wage, granted they only have to work a cpl days a week, but still...

  • at 5:03 What a Hit!!

  • this sucks dicks

  • @SeAn9062619 thanks i like those guys are but i dont know where they r now

  • millionaire's club was the best stable ever!

  • @buffalobob74 Umm, yeah they were way better then the 4 Horsemen, DX, NWO, oreven the Varsity club. Whatever!

  • what was the group with mark jindraik shawn o hare chuck pulmbo and above average somthing who was all in that group and what were there names cant remember some of their names i think there were 5

  • @bob2012isfake natural born thrillers

  • Sean O'haire,Chuck Palumbo,Shawn Stasiak,Mike Sanders,Mark Jindrak

    The Natural Born Thrillers

  • I couldn't keep track of any of this nonsence. Russo sucks.

  • DAMMIT RUSSO!!!!!

  • I remember seeing this when it came on TV. Hogan and Kidman fighting in the parking lot too. Back when wrestling fans were fans, and not constant critics of whats a 'botch' and what is actually good writing or bad writing, and just really enjoyed the product.

  • yeah they really tried to push kidman for awhile. really? they saw kidman being the savior of wcw? putting him in a program with hogan? come on.. who actually enjoyed this? i loved wcw till its demise. being from the south i grew up with the crockett/nwa days, up until teddy turner stepped in. but this sucked..

  • i agree... I thought the "hogan/Kidman" ordeal was actually entertaining.... but people are assholes and they rather misjudge instead of enjoy.

  • Are you serious? Just because you personally don't remember fans commenting on the internet about how BAD this writing was, doesn't mean that it wasn't happening...in fact the internet was on fire with smarks ripping each Nitro/Thunder/failed pay-per-view to shreds. The fans, the real fans, were lamenting this stuff (that was intended to reach a mass audience) every step of the way, and the hard they tried, it seems, the farther they flew from their intended aim of drawing ratings/ticket sales.

  • Wow. Nice way to rip on something I never even said.

Am I serious? Yes. I never once said through out my statement that I didn't personally remember fans commenting on the internet about how bad everything was.

I'm talking about how EVERYone is a 'smark' now. Instead of going on to a wrestling video and being like 'that was a nice spot!' or 'that looked like it hurt', you have constant youtube battles about the type of move it is.

  • These are the fans I was refering to. The ones who now, because of Wikipedia and other sites, think they know everything there is to know. I went on a video the other day, where a guy did a hurricanrana from the top rope, and the opponent flipped over to land on his face. The whole comment section was people arguing if he did it on purpose or if it was a botch. No one cared how good it looked.

There is no such thing as straight up good or bad writing. We all have opinions, I liked this time.

  • @Sakima I'm a real wrestling fan and I for sure was not a fan of this product.

  • @Lfdjake91 To each his own, obviously. I use to love WCW, and also WWE, but I just don't enjoy the big feds now-a-days like they were back then. I was just remembering how fun everything seemed back then, and how not EVERYone was so uptight about writing and botches and who stole whos move and all that bullshit.

Near the end though, WCW was crap either way. Between the horrible worked shoots, Goldbergs heel turn, and David Arquettes championship win.. I mean come on. BUT it still had moments.

  • wow this sucks to c wcw like this. no wonder there no longer a comapny. wcw at its best was 1996 to 1998. am i right?

  • yes

  • Pan up PLEASE! HIGHER HIGHER HIGHER. the boys tried to sell it but at this point who cared about WCW. What happened to kidman? is he still with torrie?

  • Kidman & Torrie from what Ive heard are divorcing or they might already be divorced.

  • they divorced in 07 now she is with nicky from the spirit squad

  • she is with Mitch of the spirit squad, not nicky (aka Dolph Ziggler). He is dating Nikki Bella currently

  • think so

  • those double ax-handles looked so embarrassing

  • Time Warner REALLY screwed this company.....

  • Vince was laughin his ass off watching this

  • @TwelveInchDick MaMahon right?

  • @TwelveInchDick and Vince is still laughing at people that keep buying the crap he's selling now. I'm sure he even think his WWE sucks but hey why not make easy money off the sheep.

  • @Slacker4LiFe247 I doubt that. Talk to anyone who knows Vincent Kennedy McMahon the person and you will see a man who believes his product is actually good despite the dropping ratings and buyrates. His ego is too big to realize the product is sucking. It took the WWF almost going out of business in 1997 to make him wise up that he needed to change direction. Vince is surrounded by yes-men who tell him what he wants to hear.

  • @TwelveInchDick What do you mean by that

  • @TwelveInchDick stupid question but was it because they a joke lol

  • what a mess theres so much shit goin on lol

  • All this made no sense, theirs so much shit going out you cant keep up

  • didn wwf kinda copy this with stone cold invasion

  • THIS CHAOTIC AND INSANE ! ! !

  • he was called terry bolea (sp?) for a little bit around there to make this feud look more real, but i seriously dont know what they were thinkin with hulk vs kidman, even on paper that looks like shit

  • Thats one reason Hogan shot on Russo at Bash at the Beach, he wanted to push ppl and put them over Hogan that didnt make sense, yea I disagree with sum of Hogan's decisions backstage, but Russo trying to push Kidman or Jarret against HoGan just didnt make sense

  • @KingOfRock8887 he didn't get to be hulk hogan by jobbing to kidman. i see his point to some extent.

  • @KingOfRock8887 But the crazy thing is they should have gave Kidman a push.He actually was over in WCW after his time with the Flock,as well as his cruiserweight reign and tag team with Rey.The problem was that Kidman shouldnt have gotten over Hogan the way they were booking it.Kidman can't work a might for shit.So they should have used his abilities, rather the sill promos he did and stupid angle

  • @KingOfRock8887 Especially when they had no talent1

  • @KingOfRock8887 No, Hogan has said he actually wanted to put Kidman over. Hogan wasn't happy because Russo was getting sick of Hogan getting his way all the time (WCW was stupid enough to give people like Hogan and Nash contracts that gave them full control over what their characters did, so if they didn't want to do something then they couldn't be forced to).

  • amazing 1996 The nWo is born and only 4 years later you had this CRAP!

  • which is worse? 2000 wcw or PG wwe?

  • DEFINATELY pg wwe. 2000 wcw wasnt that great beside the new blood storyline but it was way better then the shit we have now

  • i'd say 2000 wcw, look at macho hittin people, its pathetic, and everyone just standin around while something else happens, ..so my votes for wcw 2000 being worse

  • WWE is deff worse now then WCW was in 2000.

Its not even about being PG though. WCW was a PG product and its why you didnt see an "Attitude" era happen in that company. Early WCW proved you could be a great company and PG.

Sadly WWE today is crap so I'd have to give my vote to WWE being worse.

  • WHat? WCW always had an Attitude Era. WCW an the nWo is the reason and answer to WWF's version of the ATtitude era. WCW and WWF both copied ECW to begin with anyway.

  • totally agree with you

  • @5590ERS PG WWE

  • PG WWE DEFINATLEY

  • wwe pg is so fucking boring at least this was chaotic

  • what kind of fcuking joke is this :|

    are they even hitting eachother?

  • Worst faction feud of all time. The "Millionaire's Club" were supposed to be the faces, but had a heel name.

  • I want to see this in its entirety. I think i remember seeing this.

  • Vince Russo is a Spy for mcmahon

  • Never thought i'd see Savage, Flair & Hogan in the same ring on the same team....

  • former minor league baseball player randy paffo saves, hes a better wrestler than ball player

  • Yay For Ric Flair, but this battle royal was ridiculous lol

  • haha best and biggest battle royal ever. more than world war 3's 60 wrestlers involved in this(men AND women) and even included weapons. and whole bunch of guys who were neutral even got involved when they didnt have to hahaha

  • Oh Yeahhhhh! ...... Dig It!

  • Oh Yeahhhhhh! .... Dig It!

  • i remember this battle royal like yesterday lol. vince russo destroyed such a good company

  • Thank you vince russo for fucking up a great wrestling company.

  • they were taking turns to be beaten up by macho man.. that's funny

  • wow its wierd how the new blood was chris candito shane douglas jeff jerret and billy kidman because all of them(but kidman) are legands in tna

  • the logo changed after the aol/time warner merger...

It's a shame how WCW ended when at one time if they played their cards right they could have beat the WWF/E for good

  • i wish wcw killed the wwe

  • LOL!! Look at 5:01 - Hogan botches a suplex and goes through the table instead of Kidman!! PS note to all Hogan fans - I don't dislike Hogan, I just think this clip is funny when he goes through the table.

  • Or maybe it's because Russo hits him with a lead pipe........

  • I'd like to think it's because he botched the move. It's funnier..........

  • look at the left bottom of the screen... bischoff hit him with a baseball bat ... it was planned that hogan goes through the table first

  • bischoff hit hogan whit the baseball bat....

  • that's cause bischoff hit him

  • Someone please please tell me why was Kidman paired up with Hogan

  • because for some stupid reason they thought a kidman vs hogan angle would draw money, i mean kidman was good and hogan drew money but them together didn't draw a dime

  • I want some to put up the video of the first half of what went down in the battle royal I remeber sting was in the begninging and shit and nash and everyone

  • silly Tenay!

a pan up is called a tilt!

  • lotts action going on better then this shit today

  • For me WCW at this time was so exciting to watch. I absolutely loved it. Loads of exciting fresh stars had just arrived (Candido, Stasiak, Awesome, Storm) and some of the fueds were really well paired and really enjoyable......its just a shame the fun only lasted a few weeks after they chose not to follow anything up and leave every storyline hanging.

This battle royal reminds me though of one of my favourite times in wrestling.

  • Your favorite time in wrestling was only three weeks long?

  • I remember watching this. Classic return. I even stayed up later and watched the replay of Thunder that night.

  • I loved this, only problem is Machoman never showed up again after this.

  • Exactly, probably had something to do with hogan behind the scenes

  • I just wonder wat he meant by "ITs over for you guyz."

  • @rober2124 i think macho man basically told the future of what happened to wcw the following year when he said that. probably why he didn't show up again after this, he saw it coming. i have to admit i sort of enjoyed the whole old wrestlers vs. new wrestlers feud for a while, but once slamboree came up and had david arqutte becoming champ...things were pretty much over for wcw. i started tuning in to wwf shortly after.

  • yeah..after this he was never seen again

  • this was a tottal fuck up that never should of made the light of day

  • DAMN WCW was bad !

  • this was terrible

  • It looked like Flair had a big ass head..

I mean God damn .. look at it..

  • Comment removed

  • doing the samething in tna, doesnt work, marks will always luv their heroes

  • this who segment was disorganized

  • The only swerve missing would be to have Duke the Dumpster Drose come down and put a trash can on Macho Man's head and punch it. dubya see dubya

  • why in the blue fuck were ppl like Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, & DDP in some douchebag group called the Millionaire's Club? wtf answer that 4 me somebody i never watched WCW so i'm lost when i watch these vidz
