  • Suck if an engine caught on fire...

  • Excuse me...passengers are watching this from their seats¡?¡?¡?¡?¡?¡?

  • which airline?

  • Being able to watch the plane from this angle would probably ease my fear of flying.

  • man those runways at lax are filthy...I guess that's what happens when you have year round sun and billions of pounds of rubber beating you up

  • I'd love cameras on both sides of the cabin to see the view out both sides, a camera facing up, a camera facing down under the plane, a front facing camera at the front, a front facing camera on the tail, and a rear facing camera on the tail :) and a camera on the wings looking back at the plane

thumbs up if you agree :D

  • i think the manager said to turn elecrtronics off for landing. Oh well, mistakes happen.

  • friction coef. < 25 in wet conditions (what I'm guessin').

Look at all the rubber thruout the whole RWY. damn that's bad....

( or maybe it's the camera makin' it look worst that it is...)

  • the passengers can watch this camera from their seat?

  • Yeeeah so funny to hear an Auzz accent I just took V Australia there last week! 15 hours on a 777 woohoo!

  • It's too bad the A380 is such an ugly plane --- even worse than the 747 and that's BAD. Hopefully, I'll never have to ride on this piece of S***. I once flew a single-engine Cessna ( ferry flight ) from Calif. to Hawaii, a 13 hour flight over open ocean. I loved every minute of it and would gladly do it again before spending one minute on this overgrown liviathon they call the A380. This plane SUCKS.

  • When i heard that sound i almost had a heart attack!!!xD

  • It's a good training to be a pilot...

  • what happened to please turn off your electronic devices?? haha

  • Does anyone know what that noise is from the plane ???? 0:23

  • @Leon707

Its the wings. I think its called the aileron. It was extending down.

  • @iWearGlassesLOL they're Flaps. they're extended during takeoff or landing to increase the wings surface area to it could fly slower. The ailerons are on the far end of the wings and roll the plane. those move in opposite directions.

  • @cruz1aviator "so" it could fly slower. sorry for the typos.

  • Look at those beautiful wings made here in the UK.

  • can you access the tail camera at any stage of the flight? or is it just on take off and landing?

  • @millercork all the time not just the take-off and landing

  • this is fake

  • @DominantSilverback no it's not the a380's have moniters in the seats and you get to choose these views

  • mmm, good video but if I had a dollar for every pixel in this video that I saw, I would have one dollar

  • why bother uploading with mobile camera from 2003?

  • Would have been a great video if the camera you were using to film wasn't so shit.

  • Holy shit, this is coolest camera angle you can have. I cannot wait to fly the A380 from Frankfurt to NYC in February!! I'll probably watch this throughout the entire flight.

  • no you guys.... its not a camera... on the new A380 you can get seats from the tail

  • Which pixel is the plane?

  • LA is huge

  • Supercool

  • did u film this with a potato?

  • FS 2016 with REX 10.0

  • damn those flaps are loud!

  • FSX-Real Life

  • dude how much did those seats coast right on the tail.. you must be rich

  • 0:09 Bottom right corner - you can see the shadow from plane.

  • beautiful video and beautiful landing......

  • 5:12 Awesome!

  • it seems like the plane was in a crosswind situation, and they need to land accurately or they could overrun the runway

  • @swawif Crosswinds aren't really a rare occurrence. It's almost expected that most of the time any winds will not be blowing in the same direction as the runway heading.

  • The pilots do use this during landings, it must make it so much easier during crosswind landings to assist, also during instrument landings to check for ground contact. Brilliant Idea on Airbus' behalf, excellent for the passengers too!

  • If the pilots have that in the cockpit I think it would be much easier to land,, and its like a video game when theres 3rd person!!!!! xD... They just need a 360 controller.

  • @jopihoop Haha, no speed indicator, to altimeter, no attitude indicator, no heading reference, no EICAS, no MCDU/FMC, no PFD, no MFD and SOOOOO much more, hahahahaha. If a pilot actually uses that camera to land, he'll probably be the BEST pilot ever known in history and future to come, xD!!!!

  • @jopihoop youre and idiot

  • 4 people couldn't see this on their screen

  • so cool!

  • @DavidLTG why couldent 4 ppl see it on the screen?

  • Amazing view

  • used up the entire runway

  • What the hell is goin on with the camera

  • A380 is a cool airliner, and I found out that the pilots will use this same tail cam view to help steer the plane, on the taxiways and runways. Also one reason for them to use the whole runway, is that they must be under 10 knots of speed before the nose gear can work effectively. Faster than that the plane will just go straight even with the nose gear turned left or right. I would love to get a ride on this plane.

  • blurry pic but

  • This Beauty took the whole Runway too land!!! :D

  • @edgallo95 probably so it can get to its stand quicker. i seem to remember qantas park down that end of lax.

  • @edgallo95 that why we gotta ride the 747

  • @edgallo95 must be scary to be the pilot and see the whole runway being eaten up.

  • @edgallo95 i think tower told him to exit at the end of the running cause he could have exited sooner if he would have hit the brakes a little harder

  • @brice1157 Or kept the thrust reversers on for longer.

  • bloody awesome

  • Is it just the recording or are the actuators actually that noisy in descent?

  • @Albinus81 The flap actuators are that loud.

  • I think that tail camera is the coolest idea ever for a plane ride! How about you?

  • @bwd81977 I would like a cockpit view! and check right out what the pilots are doing!

  • @bwd81977 All planes should have tail cameras!!!

  • @bwd81977 I'd like a cockpit camera. I also hear some airlines have rear facing cameras on the tail. That might be an interesting view for take off

  • @bwd81977 That's what they want you to think. The truth is that cloaked lemmings use to be in charge of visually monitoring the aircraft externally from many positions. But after the strike of 2008 and due to rising operation costs, many airline manufacturers installed cameras claiming it was for the the passengers to enhance the flight experience. Now the aircraft can be properly monitored by 100s of eyes and thus keep the plane safe and save money.

  • it's like a flight sim!!

  • @featheredmusic r u retarted. the a380 has built in cameras.

  • @Mohit5466 yah that's why i said "It's LIKE a flight sim" who's the retard now biiitch

  • @featheredmusic Lol oo my bad i thought u said "It is a flight sim" lmfao

  • @Mohit5466 lol it's all good, that was funny though

  • How Much Did You Paid? You Were In Economy, Bussines Or First? Good Video!

  • Comment removed

  • these new camera views from the A380 make looking and filming out of a window old school!!

  • loving the flaps sounds!

  • Great perspective but you'd never get me on one...if it ain't Boeing, I ain't going

  • wow, how much did those seats cost? how much do first class cost if u kno?

  • @AlphaAlphaLima The cost of seats really depends on the flight itself, we flew as a group and it was a package deal - so check the Qantas site

  • @AlphaAlphaLima that musn´t first class...in a§80 has every seat an screen

  • @AlphaAlphaLima Screw how much the seats cost..I want to know how he got up on the tail! lol ;)

  • tough job for the cameraman, sure he's strapped in, but must be damn windy and cold

  • @henerymag lol!

  • @henerymag He's union so he's happy.

  • November 30 QF32 LHR-SIN (: cant wait

  • It would be funny if the pilots put a fake video in of a plane coming into land while

another plane is on the runway and then play that tape as the "camera angle view" for the passengers, hahaha, ppl would be screaming big time:-)).

  • I know the a380 has a few differant cameras. Is this the only one passengers can see?

  • @ramhoves There is another camera that looks directly down from the plane.

  • kinda looks like flight simulator except this one is real. cool view.

  • You dont get this view in QANTAS business class - they make you stow the screen for landing (and takeoff) :-(

  • yes - the big girl was a treat to fly in, food was average, staff were very friendly and the flight although long was smooth with no turbulence or hick ups a great experience.

  • @cesnaman friend of mine called it "a flying couch". Just no feeling except it is very stable and silent (which is good but not exciting enough huh? :))

  • Must be "creepy" sitting there watching this and knowing that there are only 2 little people controlling this big ship ;o)))

  • @LemmingD84, I would be more scared if there were 20 people controlling it ;-)

  • Nahhh well trained professionals.

  • @LemmingD84 Two little people with a HUGE amount of training and experience in flying this thing! :p

  • wow...wow....

such a big plane.. it requires the whole runway to stop.. ..! cool.

  • Wow! Really cool. Thank you :)

  • landing gear at 0:41 ?

  • may have been trim tabs - don't know really.

  • @cesnaman Must be the gear, trim tabs don't make a loud boom like that.

  • @cesnaman yeah there trim tabs on the Flaps

  • @yvesgomez presume so

  • @yvesgomez

    Most def. the landing gear

  • @yvesgomez Well sounds very much like landing gear.

  • @yvesgomez

    Nope, those are the flaps

  • @yvesgomez the sound you are hearing is the flaps being extended..

  • good video, what was the noise that came at 1:16

  • I believe it was the landing gear

  • not the landing gear those where the flaps.

  • Flaps

  • flaps mechanism makes a lot of noise on the a380

  • Fraps

  • wow

  • Thanks glad you liked it - she is a fantastic bird to fly in

  • Great

  • This is a 5 minute video and takes a bit to load but worth the wait.
