  • i was in burma in 2009 and the people have much fear again, you can see that there is anger in the eyes of the monks that they have to hold back.

people are not allowed to talk about politics anymore, everybody is paranoid cause there could be underground police everywere.

me and my guide "tom" talked in "heho" in the north of myanmar, in the middle of the lake about the problem,it is very difficult. i tried to get in contact as promised to him after i got back to europe but i never got an answer.

  • I cry.. amazing and sad!

  • how lucky we are here in australia,my heart goes out to the people who are not so lucky

  • 8*8*88

  • you should make a soundtrack at the end

  • I have so much respect for the people who risk their lives just so they'll live for a better tomorrow. Its why I dont understand why so many conservatives accuse Obama as being a "muslim dictator." I mean I bet if we sent them to Burma for a while they'd appreciate the quality of life here and the fact that they can actually speak their mind about the Prez without getting shot.

  • This film really fills me with disgust. It is so hard to believe that these things still happen while we in the West all live in democratic countries. I have got so much respect for all people that risk their lives in order to save their country

  • This has got to be one of the most dangerous professions in the world.

I have nothing else about the utmost respect that I can give to any filmmaker. These people recording the evil atrocities in Burma have A LOT of COURAGE to do what they do. These reporters are putting their lives on the line to send whatever videos, photos and audio recordings they have to outside new broadcasts in order to have people see the sadistic things happening in Burma.

STAY STRONG THE CITIZENS OF BURMA

  • when next attempt going to be?

  • EVERYONE!!! JOIN AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL!

And do your part. Even if it's a very small one.

People of Burma. Don't loose hope!

  • "When people decide they want to be free, there is nothing that will stop them." - Desmond Tutu

    Don't give up.

  • The iron fist of the military and will of the people cannot cohesively co-exist; one will submit to the other. I am humbled and in awe watching this documentary. My respect and prayers go out to the people of Burma; the citizens and reporters whose thirst for change and audacious dissent are a testament to the human spirit. Keep fighting!

  • i feel sick watching this when im in my perfect house i feel like crap just thinking about it

  • thnx for documentary that u post. the hope of your land will be still if people are trying to change all thing.

i'm waiting to see a peace that it's including equality in burmese.

  • Thanks for posting that...It was very moving and very sad.....

  • This is the kind of countries the stupid unitedstatians should really bomb and kill their government officials... not Iraq or Iran.

  • excellent documentary, watched all 9 videos.

thanks a lot for informing me, i was very ignorant on Burma till now.

It makes me want to fight for their cause....

  • Very moving, I hope people don't forget about this. I can only wonder where all the political prisoners and monks are now and how they are doing.

  • kudos to all the brave fighters....

  • There will be much more international awareness soon because Burma VJ is nominated for an oscar for best documentary.... I hope they win. Billions of people watch the oscars around the world, so it will be a perfect place to make a political statement and remind the people of the world what is still happening in Burma.

  • Tuesday 26th of January this will be shown on More4 on UK tv. I had tears streaming down my face just watching it. My utmost respect to the reporters, monks and thousands of others who supported them. This is disgraceful behaviour and the Military 'generals' are nothing more than greedy elitist filth. One reporter or monk is worth a milion of them. It is difficult to have faith in humanity when we see this but I truely wish them success and those responsible being held accountable some day.

  • @tapsteve "It is difficult to have faith in humanity"

Its even more difficult because these people received no help from the powers around the world.

  • Very brave and thanks a million for posting!!! i hate them... because of them... now we r separated from my mother land!!! they must die cruely soon... ! they must give their soul to hell for their bloody hands... one day.

  • Thanks for posting the film.

Our hearts go out to those brave people.

  • Keep fighting! The world knows!

    Sweden

  • I wanna send a message to the brave Burmese ordinary people. Never think u lost anything.

You have gained alot. The junta is more afraid of you than before. And u r getting stronger day after day.

Be conscious of ur power. Hope is not lost. And soon you will have your rights and freedom back

  • Thank you for posting this.

  • This is why the Burmese People must be free.

  • i think there should be a massive opposition, struggle... u can gain freedom through guerrilas, civil war...because as u see protests give nothing but victims, especially weaponless.

    FUCK UN!!!!!! F U C K IT!!!

  • Do you think that military intervention would ever be an option worth pursuing?

  • @ianlewiscrawford ,

It is worth it like the US got rid of Sadam Hussien, Than Shwe he is worst than Sadam, they should get rid of him first

  • @ironbutterfly98

We didnt go over there for sadam, we went to gain a foot in the door in the middle east, that and oil.

  • i watched it all too. is this still goin on? can we hope or is the hope gone forever? theres no answers.

  • Watched the whole thing.

    Fuck.

Don't the soldiers want a better nation?

Why don't they put their guns down?

  • you know what ? .. most of the soldiers can't even read. they just know the order and demand from the above. thats the problem. . . i was very angry while was watching them shooting the people and the monks.

i can't even understand. what /? were they learning to shoot their own people stead of protecting the citizens.

gosh.... where is their relagion. ?

  • @sithuwu they have no relegion they were raise since they were very young and being force to seperate from their parents. none of our soldiers educated they were all being force or rape

  • @HANEHANE08

    That's very no choice.

  • u watched all 9 episodes. good...very good...
