Hush JonahNeal. Download the audio by downloading Audacity 1.3, using it to record your own speaker's audio, and then proceed to make your own fucking music.
Yes, it is indeed the HJ (Hitler Youth) in keeping with Joy Division's ironic reference of a name. And if you look closely you can see Pope Benedict the XVI in the crowd ;)
What is this thing telling you when a band is playing? How stupid is that. I don't care if a Joy Division tribute band are playing in Ashton in a couple of weeks.
@bredrin1 Hitler Jugend. I think the name of the band, "Joy Division", also comes from the National Socialists, if I am not mistaken. The "Joy Division" was made up of women... for "entertaining" the male soldiers.
The production is amazing and the techniques were completely off the wall. I still listen and wonder if any engineer can match this sound. Masterpiece and best JD song in my opinion.
this song WAS released before he found himself with depression.
He started having mood swings and depression after he started taking pills to calm his epilepsy. the drugs were strong and pretty well lead to his death.
this song was released in 1980 when they began recording with a new producer who just so happened to work for a company who just came out with "digital" recording devices.
then again, who am i or anybody else to assume what was going on in ian curtis's poetry.
In 1980, it was the final song of the last recorded gig. It was originally recorded in 1978 in the first session with martin hannett. so you can cross out that first sentence.
That's not at all what i said. Obviously he made this while he was alive, he's fucking singing. And now you wanna call people names when your reading comprehension is fucking terrible. I was questioning on how, YOU, a nobody would know whether or not he made this song before he was depressed. Fucking cunt's posting worthless shit on youtube. Get real.

This song could also be about Ian's suicide, not just his epilepsy. It could be looked at as a warning that he was going to commit suicide
