  • thank you for clearing that up! great video!

  • Caught a possum this morning with one, it was asleep with this on it's front leg still caught.

  • i got my fingers stuck in a double spring not modified. It hardly hurt at all.

  • @dylanman124 "can i use this on squirrels??"

In my state it is illegal (or was, the last time I checked) to use leghold traps on squirrels. No doubt that is true elsewhere because squirrels are not considered fur-bearing animals. Try a box trap.

  • Right on

    TRAPPER FOR LIFE HELL YA

  • it wont hurt too bad if you put all youre fingers into the trap the pressure will be spread out. if you just put in one you might get a broken finger or it will hurt really bad

  • i had my hand get in a #4 dbls, hurt? a lil, but it went away quickly.

  • a 1.75 long spring for coons,mink,possum,muskrat

  • Try that with a sice 2, That hurts. Or a bigger one hahaha

  • @JohnDoe0329 #2 LS dont hurt either if say go bigger #4 CS dont hurt they sting for a sec but dont hurt.

  • what is the best trap to hold a coon but not break its leg

  • Have peta check the hospital reports of humans who got broken fingers and hands from traps way bigger than that one. seriously. if traps broke bones all time and caused pain, wouldn't you think there wouldn't be as many trappers as there are today. Every trapper has got his fingers or hands caught in a trap atleast a couple times. But why do we not hear of all these broken bones from these so called powerful bone breaking traps? hmmmmm think about it. more peta bullshit

  • @smokemansmoker thats true, if you trap, you WILL catch your finger

  • @smokemansmoker got my hand caught in a 110 conibear almost all the way set it slipped and got my thumb the other day it hurt slightly but if that dnt hurt i doubt a leg hold does

  • long springs hold better. i can do that with my no. 2 montgomery traps. it syings for a bit but no damage. Out of the millions of trappers who set traps,I think everyone has got their fingers caught in a set trap atleast couple times. even with stronger traps than number 2s. How hospital reports you think are on broken fingers and hands each year? quite low if any at all. Now animals have fur padding and their bones are stronger than humans and better protected. look up the hospital reports peta

  • Who manufactures a less expensive stoploss foothold?

  • # 1 coil spring is stronger

  • witc is stronger a #1 coil spring or long

  • nice looking trap, maybe that'll show them dumb ass PETA ppl
