Balbinka is a guinea pig, but she is similar to hamsters. For example, they both amazingly store giant amounts of food in their cheeks and groom themselves.

maybe it is scared of you, or your hand(s) smell like fooid, so it thinks your fiingers are food. Their vision isn't that good.

You may, but I think your hamster would prefer your hands. Make sure you wash your hands before and after you touch your hamster. And let it smell your hand everyday so it knows it's you.
