Mark , you are a master. You remind me of Lenny breau, from my hometown. Is it too late at 55 to pick up guitar again after being a Hare Krishna monk for 35 yrs ? I feel arthritic pain where my thumbs join my hands holding the chords down. Do you ever have pain in your hands ? Maybe my action is still too high, or maybe need a nother easier to play guitar than the Canadian made Normand Im using
This is what real talent is all about folks..and many others like him for that matter..and I speak as an aspiring guitar player myself. How are we really being entertained in the "main stream" today!!..congrats to youtube and you of course traffic jammer.
Mark ,It blows my mind every time I watch those gifted hand play.I will always be a fan brother.I remember our gig at Saint John High at winter carnival.I knew I was witnessing something special then.
I like the folksy atmosphere it creates, nice and peaceful. You've really got the subtle touches down, the vibrato carefully placed, the slides just in the right moment, it really is a nice, polished piece. Congratulations.
superb Mark , smooth as silk . Aint the gat just the best friend a man ever had . Remember doing my O.E with my gat strapped to me and it was a magnet for meeting some great people like your self . Your personal touch for replying to comments is not over looked . Thanx for your gifts . Mark

its not fingerstyle if you have a thumbpick. At the canadian guitar festival they don't allow that.
invertedness 4 years ago
I wouldn't know how to respond to such a post.
Do thumbpicks negate fingerstyle?
Would it sound better without a thumbpick?
You should ask the CGF crowd.I wonder if they ever asked Lenny Breau to play.Too much plastic on the thumb.
