  • @frankie519 Actually, the horizontal and parallel bars, stairs, rings - the rusty stuff that you see in the video, - has been built during former USSR, i.e. more than 30 years ago. Since gaining independence in 1991 Latvia didn't care at all about well-being of it's younger generation. And still doesn't. US-style capitalism, you know. Nothing is done, unless it can be profited from.

    Kudos to the guys in the video though - glad to see that some young people chose health over drugs and booze.

  • Nah man..I think you can do Calisthenics up to one point, and then you just gotta switch to Lifting Weights! Cuz you are working with your body weight and your body get used to it? I dont know I wrote a whole post about it on my blog tho, you can check it out..I aint no expert at it, but thats whats logical for me. Its thecoolestreviews.blogspot.com under the workout reviews section(Im not trying to advertise man..I just hope you can tell me am I right or wrong and why,still colecting opinions

  • @PlanBActivated The more muscles mass you acquire the more weight you gain and the more challenging it becomes so long as you pay an equal amount of attention to the lower body, thus its self-perpetuating. And why would you want to lift more than your own body weight anyways, thats all cosmetic strength with weights its not functional muscle and will effect your longevity because its unnatural, wheras if you were to put on that mass through work or using your own weight youll live longer.

  • @PlanBActivated You don't really have to do traditional weightlifting you can always just add weight to pullups,dips,pushups,etc and do extreme moves like planche pushups,handstand pushups,one-arm pullups,etc. I've noticed as many others this builds more upperbody strenght than weightlifting and I got a long way to go.
