@kawi9893 Yeah, that link "for more information" certainly doesn't pop out right at the top of the description ;) With App Store and other changes/updates inevitable it is best to provide a link at which you can get the latest information... which we do. Hope that helps.
i got an ipad 2 and iRig and guitar, now im trying to find that sound that is a mesh between vai/satriani/ and eric johnson, any advice? garageband guitar pedals and amps kind of ok. but cant get that sound
@ugirl2 Get AmpliTube, try the Lead amp with either Overdrive or Distortion pedal. If you want to smooth out a bit more toward the Johnson side you could also try a bit of Fuzz in there instead.
I love this! Much easier than sonar8 PE on win7. More portable too, but it defiantly has its limits. I could see this being very advanced in 3-4 years.
I got this about a month ago, great app, only thing people should know is that the 4 track is not included with the "Full version" of Amplitube, You have to buy it as an add on otherwise you only get 1 track to record on, and also you dont get the master eq, reverb and compression tools unless you buy those. And those cool pedals youre using like the envelope and limiter pedals arent included either.. but they are all worth it in the end.
@stateunfairnj You can use the noise filter... also make sure you are not plugged into a computer, or other USB port (charging, etc) or you may get bus/line noise. Contact support for more detailed help too. Thanks!
This is so cool. Can I use it on my keyboard/synthesizer instead of a guitar? This looks easier to use than other track recorders and if I can use it for my keyboards I'm going to buy it! Let me know, thanks!
@ScottTaylorRealtor It is also useful for line input, yes. Mind you there is one input.... there are some people using it for analog mono synths really nicely (works well with Moog Filtatron app)
@ikmultimedia So amazing. I bought an analog 4-track years ago (used) for 500 bucks. this app does so much more (obviously) for so little cost. amazing product.
This was helpful. However, when exporting, I don't have the 'Email' option. Is that because I only have the free app version? Pls help. Thx- killer app!!
@live4themelody There is an included SpeedTrainer that will let you loop (as well as change speed, etc) ... take a look at the features in the link this is a serious guitar tool on your iPhone
Thanks for the reply, but I have this application and I can't figure out how, after looping a recording segment in "Song", to make that segment continously loop in the record mode like yours is at 2:49.
@jabberwocky1969 Solo and Mute. Click the ? icon in the app for more help pages, and also there's a link on the last help page to the online manual. Thanks!
sir could you help me pls on how to export the recorded mix to the pc? i keep in exporting it via file sharing and i dont know where my device share it...
@cheberli09 It will be in iTunes file sharing. The manual (if you go to the in-app help and then at the end of the help there is a link to the online manual) is available and explains this.
@garymooreisgod click the ? in the corner of the app, then at the end there's a link to the online manual which has great information. Contact support too if you need more help
I am thinking about adding the multitrack recorder to the app, lets say I need to do 5 tracks (bass, 2 guitars, Drums and vocals) is it possible to do the 4 instrumentals, export as a song then use it as 1 track and do the vocals after? thanks!
love the multitrack recording,it is very useful for experimenting guitar arrangements.. shame that you didn't make amplitube a universal app.. it is ok that you can run the iphone app on ipad.. and i think that buying it twice could be ok, for the different interface and all... but do i have to buy again all pedals???
I get bleedthrough when overdubbing...even if i have the levels set low and the fx all turned off..by the time i'm tracking the 4th track all the other prerecorded tracks are bleeding through..is there some setting i;m missing??..i couldn't find anything about it in the online manual ..the tone is amazing.. the presets are all top notch and it was easy to make and save custom tones for each of my guitars..well worth the price..

I just got both iPad and iPhone recently, and im VERY interested in purchasing any apps for guitar effects/recording. I even think about using this apps for guitar efx on my band's rehearsal. But also i've seen very bad comments about AmpliTube, on the App Store page, so im really afraid about buying it...
@011joao Try the free versions, there's a reason it is the top amp sim in the app store since its release and til this day. Negative reviews are either people with issues and haven't consulted FAQ or our support staff, or for other reasons but it is #1 for a reason and that is because people do really love it. We've being doing audio apps on PC/Mac and iOS longer than others and it shows
@robortalien You can install the Free version, try the demo loops included, import songs, etc... OR... you could actually buy the iRig first THEN download the app (even at the store where you buy it if you have 3G/WiFi connection!), or you could get them at exactly the same time.... The options are all there. In other words, you need iRig to get a proper guitar signal into the app and you can buy/download whichever version of the app before, after, or during. Colorful language, though.
im new to this i was wondering, can i use i rig to directly record my voice in a different track and ad it to a guitar track on the app,? also is i rig something i can use with other recording app like multitrack daw or other recording apps other than ampliTube? what im actually looking to do is be able to record different tracks and voice and do second voice, is this possible with i phone music recording apps and i rig?
@dreamschasers You can use iRig for things other than guitar, yes. You can even record with the earbuds that have a microphone (just be careful to follow the recommended settings). You can use iRig for direct input into other apps, but you won't have the AmpliTube guitar gear top simulations, and you can get the full-featured 4-track recorder to add to AmpliTube to get all that in one app.
I love the look of the app. It looks so amazing and sounds great too! The ONLY thing i have to recomend that you put in here is that you should be able to have a click while you record. Just like a click track in Pro Tools. So you can have a metronome that you can mute or solo or whatever and set the tempos and such. That would make this app almost completely perfect!
some more crap that doesn't tell anything cost where to buy it does it come with all this nothing. just a bunch of nothingness

@Calsalas91 You can bounce your tracks down to one track within the recorder
ikmultimedia 11 months ago
@ikmultimedia thanks! it wouldn't degrade the quality would it?
Calsalas91 11 months ago
@Calsalas91 It is more an issue with being permanent than of any quality loss. Be sure you want to bounce before you do!

the problem is: the app costs 15€ (dont know how much in UK or US) and then you must buy the track-bouncing and the master effects...
but apart from that its a great app
