Actually the opposite is true. Water-methanol injection cleans carbon buildup from engine components and extends engine life. You do have to clean the methanol injection nozzles about every three months if you are running hard tap water or cheap windshield washer fluid. This is fast, easy and simple. All it takes is a little lime-away. If you are using the methanol for racing, buy Snow Performance Boost Juice. No impurities in that stuff!
We assume you mean for a gas engine. Snow Performance makes kits specifically for gas vehicles, including your wrangler. Your best bet would be the Stage 3 Gasoline MPG Max Boost Cooler. Right now you can pick one up for $652.50. You would have to call the order in though, since it isn't available on our Diesel site.
no, the cleaning takes place over a longer period of time, so it's not going to clean it all out at once. It'll take a while to get things fully clean inside the engine.

@chimaera1855 - you should go with a stage 3 kit, and horsepower gains would be around 50-70 hp.
