This movie was premiered on TV about a week before the Berlin Wall fell. In spite of being dated by Soviet references, this is one hell of a good mystery. It SHOULD be released on DVD. Who they turn out to be looking for is, well, like looking for Osama bin Laden on the moon.

What year was that? Rather than sci-fi, it should now be called a fantasy. The Soviet Union is no more, and in 2008 humanity is no closer to a Lunar Base than it was in 1968.

I was on set - film was made in England - We spend a week on set running the computer systems shown in the movie

I think the term actors use is, "chewing the scenery". Everybody had fun making this movie, it shows.

Having grown up in a Russian community I can tell you his accent is not so bad I've heard similar from real Russians. They do seem to be having fun making this movie. Oh yes Julian has done some pretty authentic sounding accents in other movies including the very proper sounding British one since he is from Yorkshire. Would love to see the whole movie.
