  • I have no problems with myn but I also understand the importance of the correct ammunition needed to fire this pistol correctly without jams, it very picky just like most guns made by sig..... Read your instructions that came with the gun people

  • It still get off for Wat its worth.and I seen the new ones yesterday.Ima go get it.real nice finesh.almost look like s&w

  • U need to keep your finger away from the magazine release so it won't jam on you!!! Its a good gun for what it worth

  • Cheap ammo just by the flame out the muzzle and that first shot? can you say LIMP WRISTING? common issue in this design firearm, based on John Brownings Pre 1911 pocket pistols...

  • Get what what you pay for. Should have bought a real pistol.

  • Man fuck that gun man 3 shots an i can not shoot that bitch no more i broke it down man and i know y now y i did that so no i will not waste my hard money i that pos again highly upset bout that gun some new year for me Ffffffffffff

  • fuck just brought 1 4 338

  • Is everyone in your family overweight?

  • In addition to bad magazines, one other thing that causes the JA9 to jam is the slide lock lever is rught by your strong hand thumb and is easily tripped without knowing it when firing. That is usually the cause for the slide to lock back and not cycle another round through. Practice consciously avoiding the slide lock lever and you should not have this malfunction.

  • make sure you are not using hallow points. the factory recommends ball points only. I don't have any problem with my 9mm and it doesn't jam. I also have a Jemenez .22 cal which jams all the time even with good ammo, but not the 9mm.

  • supposedly these shits are very picky when it comes to ammo. the best ammo i've heard to use with it is winchester white box. certain types of ammo supposedly mess it up. i've also heard the magazines cause much of the problems with these. idk though. just what i've heard.

  • what model is that one

  • jimenez just aseembelies gun with no tolerance checks they sell there guns mostly to gang bangers im not bashing check guns i love hi point jimenez is a 60 40 company 40 good 60 bad spend an extra 80 bucks and get a zastava m88 for 230 will never jam and is made of steel not zinc

  • @TheKentuckykid9513 So the rising number of "gangbangers" talking about glocks makes glock a bad brand? What about ak's? uzis? mac 10s?.. are rocket launchers bad because mainly terrorists use them? Guns dont kill people, PEOPLE do. Besides, Jiminez guns are as safe as any other gun now since the move to Nevada.. the California line was unsafe and thrown together but the Nevada line is much more sturdy and 100% less buggy, mine has never jammed to this day (From Nevada)

  • @TheKentuckykid9513 You obviously never picked up a Jimenez JA NINE, it's all steel, and too tight from the factory, which is wy it has break in issues. so for the last year you have been sitting here chewing on your foot,,,

  • the reason its jamming is not the gun its the magazines there worn out and dont load right mine did the same thing a few times till i figured out what it was

  • its funny. my taurus 1911 did the same thing. then i bought a new MAGAZINE. NOT CLIP. and it never did it again. check your mag yo yo

  • hey man nice video also watched ur review of it how you like it man for the price ?thinkin bout maybe pickin one up myself!

  • i have a j.a. 9mm its a good dun for the price. the only time ive had it jam up on me is when i bought cheap bullets. The bullets i usually use "BLAZER" i never have a problem with jaming and ive shot over 500 rounds with it

  • lol

  • lol, this is exactly what I read about:

If the magazine is fully loaded, the first and second round have a very high probability of jamming due to the magazine needing to be broken in.

If your Jennings/Jimenez/Bryco has stopped jamming the 11th or 12th round in the mag, how long did it take to fix it? Whatever, if I honestly ever need more than 7 rounds, I should have been back to the range! lol

  • did you use hollow points or full metal jackets?

  • I got screwed the worst...$289.76 thats ok though i should have went with smith and wesson.

  • i have had one for about a year now never been cleaned it doesn't jam and have had no problems with mine

  • I own the J.A. Nine also, first off im pretty sure that you too many bullets in the magazine ,if you read your manual that comes with the gun ,it says 9mm 10 ''OR'' 12 round magazine capacity! now I bet you have that gun stuffed with 12 bullets and it only holds 10 ,notice after the first 2 shots it started feeding smoother? try only loading 10 rounds , bet you will see a difference

  • guns a pice of shit , better off throwing it at someonethen shooting it , things known for back fireing and killing the shooter

  • @LONNYCACTUS show me one instance where the shooter has been killed with any gun back firing.

  • @LONNYCACTUS gee i get tired of hearin the same quote from like 300 different people..."youre better off throwing it at him" i mean cmon use logic.you know like i know no way is throwing it better than throwin a bullet fired from the gun.

  • first off pronounce the name correctly. its spanish not english. secondly, i own a JA-nine and it's jammed once... my suggestion, swap your ammo from that shit you're using (lemme guess blazers?) and stop overloading your magazines, or at least give them time to get broken in.. You're gonna talk shit ab the gun but you have instructional vids ab it? thats retarded.. the gun has a lifetime warranty, i don't care how

  • @grantdawg07 shitty YOURS is, send it in and get it looked at if its causing you that much trouble

  • you sgould get the bereta modle m9 9mm

  • Try choking the gun when a bullet goes into the tube put the gun on safe and drop the mag and if a round falls out you have over feed your magizine.

  • Buy cheap, you get cheap.

  • @Krause12689 ...not always the case.

  • @GunNut12680 Haha alright, you show me a firearm under $500 that will out shoot a Beretta, Browning, Sig, or Colt.

  • @Krause12689 you didnt say anything about outshoot you said wen u buy cheap u get cheap...which isnt always true with evrything...and for the record ill bet good money that any ruger will hold their own with any glock springfield beretta hk or sig believe me ive seen it done.grandparents been shootin rugers for years

  • @GunNut12680 And I've had my Browning Hi-Power for going on 40 years and hasn't had 1 jam or replacement on it yet

  • @Krause12689 thats because you havet been shooting it regularly for all 40 years, stop talking trash

  • @Krause12689 How ignorant can you get? even a 100 dollar POS will out shoot the free hand shooter as long as the rifling is good, so you are just talking trash.

  • pure shit

  • I have a JA nine. its never missed fire or Failed to load. i ve shoot 1000+ rds and never any trouble.

get some new ammo. you blowing mass fire ball.

plus you probly just got a crap one. all brands have those guns that suck. i have shot tones and some very nice ones that i never thought would jam but they did.

  • do you know if yours was reenigineered...i just bought to retooled one and its not suppose to be unsafe anymore...ive yet to fire it yet tho

  • @antwan17 not sure man

  • @ohbucki53 What kind of ammo?

  • @antwan17 you can never have a SAFE jimenez

  • its he men es

  • The problem with the pistol firing has to do with the cheap magazines that are made for it. The springs are too tight and require a ot of use before they will feed the first 2 rounds correctly. You can avoid this by loading 10 instead of 12.

  • Its not the gun, its the clip, they are very cheap and do not feed well, a slight limp wrist with a poor clip would cause a firearm to jam, dont care if its a $1000 firearm or a $100 firearm

  • To all you morons who are comparing Jimenez to Hi Point, you really don't have any idea what you're talking about. I've put a few thousand rounds through all four of my Hi Points, without a single jam or FtF.

The crap made by Bryco/Jennings/Jimenez, however, is usually good for about three boxes of ammo before it kicks the bucket.

  • yea i like it better than a high point easier to conceal shoots truer

  • You mean, Hi Point.

  • mine cost 225 brand new from the store. from texas

  • that sucks way cheaper in ohio

  • mine jammed all the time too, oil the spring under the safety and itll stop doing that- atleast mine did

  • did you buy it

  • who buys a gun 4 60 dollars used he must bought it 4rm a crackhead

  • well seeing the gun is only $100 brand new $60 is a fair price, your probly a retard and paid way over that didnt you. looks like your the crack head

  • nall you fuck the gun value is $180

  • just went to a gun show sat. they had a brand new one $100...you got ripped

  • dident you say u got that 1 4 $60 used .... that kinda tells you someting about it's history

  • i own this gun yet havent shot it yet, after that first fudge seems like you didnt have any troubles, possibly didnt get that first round/clip secure

  • What's a "Jimenez" gun? Please lend your buddy some money for a more reliable gun? Don't let your buddy trust that gun. Sell him your SW9VE on installment and get yourself a new one. Hey, what are buddies for? The life he'll protect may not just be his own, it may be yours too.

  • LOL he didnt need money for a new gun I just got it to help him out. Now im affraid to sell it to aNy one because i dont want them to get hurt! But dont worry about my buddy we are going to get a Taurus 1911. 45 next week. Hopfuly he wont have to protect my life with it but if he does have to I think the .45 will do just fine

  • A 45acp is good, it cost a little more when plinking. Growing up in Asia, when cops and gangs shoot it out, we duck and make ourselves smaller. 9MM, 45ACP, 380. 22s, we all take cover. My point is that, these days, high capacity rules. Suppressive fire is important. 9MM ammo today are better than 30 years ago.

  • I have the sigma, too. 1,000 rds so far and every one went "bang". No feed problems, either. I saw a website where a guy shows you how to tune-up the Jimenez to correct feed/jamming problems. Pretty informative and looked to be helpful.

  • Thanks alot . . . ill look for it

  • Didn't you post tons of comments on Hi-Point videos saying that people should never buy cheap guns?

  • my buddy needed some money so i helped him out, i had never seen one of these guns befor and didnt know anything about it, i just got it to see what it was and what it was like. Its somthing i would never trust my life with, i would never use it as a self defense wepon nor would i ever carry it for CCW. I just got it to have it and maybe help someone out who didnt know anything about it and needed info on it, there isnt a ton of info out there for these guns like there are 4 glocks ect.

  • Let me know if you need any specific info regarding this pistol. I have some knowledge about these cheapo sidearms.

  • Get rid of that piece of crap and stick with your Sigma. Going on 200 rounds no jam yet.

  • Yea believe me i am! lol i only got this gun because a buddy of mine needed some cash so i got it off of him. I did a review on the Jimenez check it out.
