  • It is unbelievable that corporate businesses and the media can have such a huge impact on the average American. I am British and i think our media are trying to corrupt our society (re: nutrition),having watched supersize me and done a little research (studying sports nutrition) It is way worse in America! I have to admit before i thought it was an ignorance and stupidity problem on behalf of the average American, but there is little to no education in the US, shame how financial gains override.

  • what about lettce??? it comes in a bag?

  • Nice background,I guess you are god.

  • You have a fAcebook?? I deleted myspace 5years ago;/ but if you dont its okay, i can still follow you here :) great video.

  • Great video!

  • I love this video! I'm sharing this with all my friends. Everyone that eats food, which is everyone needs to watch this video and know this info.

  • Love her big dumbo ears

  • · Process and industrialized meat (beef, chicken, farm raised fish) has been proven to lower the IQ in kids, it causes arthritis causes chronic fatigue in adult.

  • · On the mild it causes ADD, AHDD, Autism, Aspergers symptoms, some young adult show aggressive and violent tendencies. Pregnant women who consume process and GMO food have a much high change of delivering premature babies, notwithstanding various other manic–depressive disorder in later life.

  • · So Why the hammer-down and antic from our government , well big agro-businesses like Monsanto and the Archer Daniels Midland Company (ADM) in tandem with the big pharmaceutical shaping our future and what we eat . Did you know Monsanto owns or in part or in full hold the pattern on over 87,000 seeds and/or GMO Crops

  • Also a lot of fake cheese out there if it says cheese food, or chesse product, etc. it's not all cheese, if it says it's immitation cheese then it contains no cheese whatsoever. You can buy frozen blue berries with only ingredient listed as blue berries, many products such as some frozen mexican foods and microwave dinners sometimes have a long list of ingredients including long chemical names and question is what's that stuff?

  • Natalie is beautiful, smart, and charming!

  • You are my ideal woman. I love you forever

  • What about Gluton free Italian Breaded sole in the frozen section at Whole Foods. It says there are a lot of natural ingredients in it and that the breaded stuff was made natural and without any additives. They are really good especially with this shredded pavino cheese I also bought from there. Check it out if your not sure which product it is and let me know if possible.

  • @Blissss09 Some of the stuff in frozen section is close to natural however many are not if long list of ingredients especially ones with chemical names is likely not, ALMOST anything stuffed in a can or box likely wouldn't be natural. Fruits or vegetables still in it's natural condition such as noncut up whole fruits or vegetables although some had added pesticides. Whole lettuce keeps better than cut up lettuce. Whole wheat flour is closer to natural than processed but doesn't keep as long.

  • @hydrolito Yeah I doubt that stuff is purely organic though the ingredients look decent but of course it just says soy bean oil and not exactly if it's organic-virgin- or hydrogenated D;. I tried the brand Blue Horizon and their lobster macaroni and cheese is amazing! The lobster taste real and not like that other junk you might get frozen and it taste lik good-restaruant quality. No added hormones, fillers or all that other junk. The brand is called blue horizon. You can google it!

  • like the bad food are in the poor hood. And what would you do buy a 1 dollar hambuger or a one dollar apple?

  • my god you are so freaking beautiful T.T

  • thanks for being broad and telling me to eat foods that go moldy. GREAT INFO!

  • @wisesakura hey ur right someone flagged u for spam but i to felt the same mentallly i felt clearer and so much better. this stuff is good stuff. i cant remember now what i ate cuz i sorta messed up my diet hehe... i had an ac problem and theres no way i was going to cook in the heat so i ended up eating out a week and got all cloudy minded a little. Anyhow my entire mood changed. i mostly ate veggies(including sweet potatoes+potatoes), rice, meats and enjoyed it.

  • Cooking is what Chefs do. You go out to eat. There is what we call McDonald's and Taco Bell. Healthy Vegetarian and Subway For everyday.

    Family of 6 every meal.

    $200.00 for a weeks Dinner (7 days).

    $200.00 for a weeks Breakfast (7days).

    $200.00 for a weeks Lunch (7 days).

    Add dish-washing = $625.00

Compared to 6 people eating $6.00 Fast Food meal.

    3 meals a day = $18.00 x 6 = $108.00

    $108 A Day x 7 = $756 dollars a week.

Feeds 6 people without needing to wash dishes and clean up.

  • @tnguyen318 WTF $600 a week to prepare meals for a family of 6?! My parents spend $200 a month to prepare meals for a family of 5. That's 10x less than what you calculated. What kind of food do you have to buy to spend $2400 a month on groceries? That's more than what you'd pay for rent. If my family were to eat at a restaurant ONCE, we'd spend $75 on the food alone. Add in tax and a tip, and you're looking at $100. Half of what we spend on groceries in a month all spent on one meal.

  • How much is a 5 person breakfast if your parents were to cook at home? 5 x 2 eggs each = a dozen eggs cost $2.50. A Case of Orange Juice is $2.00. Bacon strips are $7.00. Sausages are $7.00. Total $18.50 A Meal. $18.50 x 5 = $92.50 7 Days of Breakfast.

    Otherwise you guys can get Fast Food Microwaves for $2.99 each x 5 = $15.00 + Orange Juice = $17.50 a meal. $17.50 x 5 = $90.50 No need to cook for wash dishes.

  • Plus all the other stuff you have to buy such as Oil's, Ketchup, and Mayo Adds up. I disagree with how Breakfast is ran in America. It's obsolete. The Breakfast meal is the most important meal yet were eating unfulfilling stuff leaves you hungry. Breakfast isn't Balogny, the established Breakfast Meal is (type of food). It's Oily and Plain.

  • The Hassle of Cooking, Cleaning Oil Off the Pan, smelling the house, buying dish washing fluid, throwing trash, cleaning up just isn't worth all the trouble. You centralize it and you've got a good clean healthy meal. We need to start eating organic foods and stop using silica & other chemicals to enhance taste.

  • @tnguyen318 Hmm, I’m kinda confused now. Why’d you say that it’s better to eat out than to prepare food at home (not to mention the breakfast you described) but then say that we need to start eating more organic food? I don’t know of any fast food places/restaurants that serve food that is considered “healthy”, but maybe it’s just my area. I’m definitely not disagreeing with you when you say that people need to start eating more organic food. continued

  • I don't know. Eat Natural Foods. No Need for Oil. A Banana is a Banana. A fruit is a fruit. Salad is Salad. No need for unhealthy salad dressing. Fried or Fire Smoked Fish on a stick no Oil. Take a Bite of Crunchy Fish. Real Fish smell. Real Fish Taste. Meat is the same. Take a bite of dry Fired steak. It taste good.

  • @tnguyen318 I’m a hypocrite though; the stuff my family eats isn’t considered “healthy” either, but I was just saying that $2500 a month for groceries is way too much. Organic food is more expensive, but it can’t be THAT much more expensive.

  • A Family of 5 will cost $1,000 a month of food.

  • @tnguyen318 Just curious...do you ever use coupons or buy in bulk? How often do you shop for groceries? My mom saves around $80 for every $200 she spends on groceries because of the coupons she uses. Sometimes she even gets paid to buy items. Coupons + rebates + an item that is on sale = receiving money for buying an item.

  • No. Where I live you get a Store Card. It gets annoying to begin with. I'de rather it be a straight forward low price. Coupons back in the day drew lots of people. Still does.

  • I go grocery shopping twice a month. Right now I don't have my own place to store my Vegetarian. Most of the space is taken by a refrigerator load of foods my family can't finish. Loaded with expired items. 1980's style. You know what I mean. Every household got expired foods in the refrigerator. I Finish all my foods.

I buy what I want and need to eat. Loading up saves a trip to the market. But you have to make sure you can finish all the foods by the expiration certain date.

  • nice ears

  • Comment removed

  • i dont know.. i feel safer eating fruits and veggies passed thru a belt washed and given a lil sodium put in a frozen bag/can then ones that came from the ground to the shelf infested with pesticides. also prefer the label showing me whats in it especially when it says natural or organic on it in big letters :)

  • I really like this video. thanks alot

  • Bacteria have better nutritional standards than humans....sad.

  • Wow, you're beautiful ;)

  • WHY DON'T PEOPLE GO BACK TO REGULAR COOKING: PASTA, CHICKEN, SALAD, BREAD, MILK, FRUITS AND VEGTABLES. Normal foods that we have been eatiing for years..and make it organic when you can. Why are we compliicating things for ourselves?

  • @calberkeley01 You do realize that humans have in centuries trying to evolve processed food to eat, the reasons why pasta is so popular is because you can put it in the shelf and it wont devolve before a good year.

  • @calberkeley01 Govt+Corporations

  • Wow! I eat a whole foods diet and didnt even know it!

  • The problem with whole foods is they go bad really fast. Esp. if you have no idea how to store them. You need to make a video on how to store vegetables and fruit. Bean sprouts go bad in 2 days unless you rinse them; a bag of spinach for me only lasts a few days after its open; broccoli slaw can last a week and a half, and carrots and grapefruit 2 weeks. Cucumbers last a while, but catalopes and honey dews go bad fast. Most vegetables I have no idea how to eat or what to do with them.

  • @cobrachoppergirl

i buy them frozen and boil them- they last weeks even months same with fruits that i use to make smoothies...problem solved... my bananas last me about a week... the ones i've cut and frozen have lasted an entire month... FREEZE IT... thats your answer. Spinach i buaght some last month frozen its still good... i boil it for a few min as directed in packadge and its good again (yes im aware freezing/boiling removes some vitamins but not all bla bla better than letting it rot)

  • @cobrachoppergirl I don't usually give hurrahs to AS SEEN ON TV items but I have been using the Debbie Myers green bags. Bought mine at Bed Bath and beyond. They work well when it comes to extending the life of our fresh and EXPENSIVE produce. Also there are some green plastic containers that work good too. 2 your health.

  • @cobrachoppergirl STOP BEING A PUSSY! there's NO EXCUSE!

  • Natalie, simple isn't it, eat Real Food!

  • yo bitch can i fuck u?

  • you're Hot!

  • processed food = poisoned food !

  • Whole food isn't always the best either though, especially if it's genetically modified...MONSANTO anyone?

  • I admit to indulging in McDonald's occasionally, but I would never eat there every day. When I do eat there I usually only eat grilled chicken on my burgers though (once or twice a month)

  • @PanaceaWanted Yes all breads are considered processed, even whole grain wheat breads but look on the back of the bread it will have sugar in it that is porcessed. The you will want to get is sprouted bread that is what I go with and it digest very well it taste good and it's good for you. Take care hope this helps out for you.

  • Natalie...awesome job explaining the difference between whole and processed food.

We need to get back to natures food...Whole and raw food the only "medicine" we need

  • finaly clever girl

  • whole foods for the most part is way better and more nutritious than process foods.

however not all whole foods are healthy. and some foods that you call whole is actually processed for e.g milk, cheese grains and wheat. even though they're not as heavily processed as refine processed foods. the type of foods people should actually eat are, fruits and veggie nuts and seeds. Put simply, eat foods that does require cooking. eat only alkaline forming foods. avoid acid froming if possible.

  • thumbs up if you think this gal is HOT

I am changing my diet and when I eat veggies I am thinking about this hot babe

  • Even the bacteria don't want to eat that crap !! funny

  • 99.9% of the weight loss advice out there is related to eating and exercise, but I consider that they are missing a main ingredient in the permanent weight loss formula.

From my personal experience this is what many call mindset, thoughts, beliefs or mental attitude.

Check out my video and let me know what you think!

  • Thanks for the video. Very helpful.

  • Great video!

  • Haha Twinky = crap XD

  • 1:56 Maximumly? That's a sillyly word

  • Food processing is a really complex topic and you're dumbing it down a lot. It doesn't mean that the food is unhealthy. Its a key part of a modern society, if we didn't have modern food processing, there would be disease outbreaks, and food would be a lot more expensive, and people would go hungry, plus output could become unstable and you can get famines like in the old days

  • @digitaldud Processed foods are unhealthy. Period. She's not "dumbing it down." It's that simple.

  • BTW... Whole Foods sucks, lies and is a monopoly with hippie idiots who are racist and accuse shoppers of stealing and then find nothing so they throw the shoppers in jail for trespassing. Now say WTF??!!! Becuase this is the fact and I know!! "Don't give Whole Foods your Money!" buy online or go to your local grocery and request the foods you want to buy. it works!! <--Freedom of speech and expression! Love my rights :-) Oh... if you shop on private property, be careful!

  • @hydrobot2003 you are confused

  • @spamagatti I'm confused? I speak the Truth about this Racist store! You are a retarded butt smelling WOMBAT! <--Google image.

  • @hydrobot2003

    racist stores ? yeah right..

    dumbass hippie

  • @hydrobot2003

you're so full of BS. Whole food markets hardly make anything compared to processed food chains like McDonalds so you taling about a monopoly ? The monopoly is onthe processed food shit, just watch tv and compare processed food commercials vs whole food commercials. How much does MAC pay you to spew your crap. 65% of US adults is overweight due to processed and drap food. You're a liar and seems to like Americans eating processed food. Dumbass redneck

  • @jacquelineveronique - Jac off.. you do not know what the hell you are saying. Whole Foods is working with people like monsanto and the FDA. next time you go to whole foods ask them why they will not publicly tell you that their beef is "Not from Clone beef." ask them.. go ahead and ask them. They will not tell you ro label it for you, Guaranteed! ... when you are True... you are True all the way. This store is full of BS! go ahead and stick some samples in your pocket. see what happens. Ha!

  • @hydrobot2003

fuck off yourself dumbass trailer hick, go eat at the MAC but I will eat my whole food so you can eat processed cheese burger

  • @jacquelineveronique - WOW! I guess it's True about what they say? "The Truth Hurts!" LOL! I eat Organic , I just won't buy from Whole Foods the RACIST store, that's all. By the way.. next time your at the WHOLE FOODS RACIST STORE go by some mouth wash you retarded Trichomonad!!

  • HEALTHY FOOD LEADS TO MALNUTRITION!!! lol i shop at whole foods, but SERIOUSLY, google: ORTHOREXIA NERVOSA

if you eat healthy YOU ARE INSANE!

  • @masteryoca13 Orthorexia Nervosa is an eating disorder(and not even a recognized one). ANYTHING taken in extremes can be unhealthy. But the supposition that choosing to make healthy eating decisions is wrong, is just plain stupid...

  • @dancrews69 so by that logic you're only safe if you occasionally eat a processed food, to keep your diet from being dangerously exclusive. thats like trying to lose weight while allowing yourself a bowl of ice cream per day. Eating healthy is not wrong, maybe some people have a different idea of whats healthy, some don't eat meat at all, i say meat is needed every time you crave it. let your body lead the way, don't deprive yourself.

  • @masteryoca13 No...by YOUR logic, you say trying to eat healthy is a disease. Orthorexia Nervosa is an eating disorder wherein the sufferer makes unhealthy choices in the belief that it is benefiting them... Kind of like the difference between skipping lunch and Anorexia.

  • @dancrews69 i may have said that, but my previous comments saying if you eat healthy youre insane and all that, were sarcasm. According to the doctors, the main thing that makes it a problem is control issues or OCD. I don't know about you but should you not be in control of what you eat? I eat right because it's natural. the chemicals used in common foods have been proven to toxify your body, this is just another step towards eliminating your choices as a consumer. Corporate favoritism...

  • @masteryoca13 - Yeah I screwed Whole Foods a long time ago, They don't get my money any more. They are a bunch of liars!

  • @masteryoca13 LOL I hope your joking! :P

  • Thank you! I wish I could convince some people I know of this- they just think I'm crazy =/

  • "Eat from the earth, not from a box."

  • Look, I agree whole foods are best. All the marketing is crap and I really believe that. But there is a food shortage in the world today. Without that crap called processed foods millions or billions would starve to death. There is no answer other than do the best you can for now. I would say privately store away several hundred food items for emergency. or dried foods, i dunno. but there us a shortage.

  • The twinki thing just got me !!

  • We're marketing processed foods because there's money in processed foods. There's not a lot of money in nature, there's a whole lot of money in modifying/fucking up nature.

  • @ChrisL101 We still need people misguided enough to buy those products, which is where all the confusing, contradictory, misleading, and flat-out incorrect information that we're fed through the media comes into play.

  • @ChrisL101 I disagree. If Americans kNEW how to market healthy food, there would be buyers.

In the last decade, we have become more educated and aware of how food can really affect our bodies. Subway is more popular than ever because people WANT to eat healthy. I think if people start advertising legitimately healthy foods and give us the actual facts, people will be more drawn to it.

Food companies should focus on how to make healthy food taste good without sacrificing nutrients.

  • @ImaginarYxGoddesS i work in a place where theres a subway and that stuff is far from healthy.... its just chemical pumped meats and cabagge filled with preservatives and a low cal solution. the employee at subway told me the lettuce doesnt go bad as normal lettuce does cuz of the chemicals in the lettuce that perserve it an extra week or so... its not a fix... the meats have chemicals in them... sub way doesnt make meats most chains use cheney bros meat,. its not healthy look it up.

  • @ChrisL101 It's obviously a frustrating slow pace of change, but people are changing and becoming more aware.

  • That is so true. Thanks for sharing.

  • this would be more interesting if you had some pics or some videos of how foods are processed and how real food looks. Just examples of both would be makeit more eye catching... just a comment. thanks for posting though.

  • Is all frozen foods processed foods also. I don't think all of them are even tnough it's in a bag.

  • thanks Natalie. I'm lookin to change my eating habits so I can live a long life with my daughter. I also want her to grow up eating the right foods and to be able to someday have her kids do the same.

  • i love this video, i comepletely agree. a few weeks ago i decided to eat only whole foods and it has changed my life forever and for the better :)

    thank you natalie

  • i love fresh fruit the cans dont have flavoring at all

  • I am 60 years old and one thing out of all that I can't get over is the milk. I remember growing up and raising my kids where after just 4 or 5 days (somethng like that, short time) the milk in the refrigerator would be clabbored ! I noticed a few years ago when I wasn't drinking milk as fast and it had been in my frig over two weeks and no clabbored milk ! That goes to show you how much preservatives are in it. One is fermaldyhide ! (mispelled?)

  • Could someone please tell me a healthy food choice from the grocery section. I cant eat anything from a box or can? This is just not realistic. Cereal, yogurt, milk, canned soups, granola bars, instant oatmeal, deli meats are said to be bad for us. What are we supposed to eat. I can't just eat fresh fruits and veg.

  • @MrPauly2010

well COOKING is the answer!!! you can have anything if you make it yourself! and well you just don't have to switch in one day...baby steps ;)

  • @MrPauly2010 fruits vegatables, canned beans that are organic with nothing added, cans of tuna in water, basically things with 1 ingredient are the best. cereal is bad, yogurt can be good, but not all kinds of it, milk has to be skim, canned soups are bad, granola bars are fake, buy the real oatmeal, meat should be natural and not packaged. so theres your answer. real foods are what our bodies were made to eat, just like the cavemen, they didn't just eat cereals all day, they ate natural foods

  • Twinkies go bad in 3 weeks!!!!!!!!

I like the whole foods route, dont get me wrong. Everyone always uses twinkies as an example, but they are NOT good for months/years.

  • For the best nutrition, after you buy the whole foods, don't cook them for half an hour or cook them at high temperatures because you will be making processed food from whole food in your own kitchen.

  • Milk in the grocery store is processed food. It isn't just pasteurized and homogenized. Milk in the grocery stores is manufactured by mixing refined components of milk in different proportions to get the various kinds of milk. For example, one of the ingredients in low fat milk is powdered milk.

  • Over the last few years I have changed. I eat heathy and exercise a couple of hours almost everyday. It's not all that glossy, I feel like the only living tree in a dead forest, a real life superman.... For the life of me I can't uderstand why others don't change....

  • @cyclenut I hear you. I have avoided processed foods for over 4 years now. I exercise daily as much as possible, and have not eaten fast food for years. I never liked it much anyway but I don't touch it anymore and I feel great. I get sick twice a year at most and am the most healthy in my family. Its not hard to live wholly healthy.

  • @doosierty

but your sick in the head everyday brah

  • @cyclenut ur a beast (Y)

  • THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALL THE INFO!!!!!

  • Good video, is the deli also considered processed food. They are usually at the corner of the grocery store.

  • How do u feel about Subway veggie delight with oil and vineagar?

  • cool video but any one know waht find protein power natalie use wihen she make the smoothie.

  • What about ORGANIC Twinkies?

    I'm Kidding!!!

  • @mikepaniccia - I'd stick them organic twinkies up whole foods azz where the sun don't shine! Racist store!!

  • you're such a sweetheart

  • is canned tuna considered processed food??

  • absolutely not! but limit how much u eat per week to maybe 3.

  • look at the ingredients. if you recognize them as food, yes.

  • It is processed. But only a little.

What you should be worried about are not minimally processed foods but HIGHLY PROCESSED foods..

Any alteration and additive to a food makes it "processed."

But obviously their is a differnce betweeen canned tuna and cheese doodles...

  • green tea prevents tooth erosen! drink 2-3 cups a day and floss at least every night demondragon person

  • I'm addicted to your vidoes! Your a real inspiration to me becuase I have 2 chronic diseases: type 1 diabetes (diagnosed when I was 16) and when I turned 19 I was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis. You give me better advise than my doctors.

  • id like to know how dental heath can be improved through natural foods please...^^

  • whats your email natalie?

im doing a school project about this stuff.

    (:

    pleasee give me more info

    thanks, love the vids

  • We miss you natalie!

  • umm this has nothing to do with nutrition but i want to bang natalie real bad

  • Processed food is disgusting filthy crap. Look up "Food Defect Action Levels" but before you do, breathe deep, and prepare to be completely disgusted. Funny how the news never told us this =)

  • tipical american

  • that's "typical", you worthless pile of offal!

  • No such thing as a "typical American"...I promise you we are more different from each other than wherever you come from..

  • good job

  • Thank you so much, Natalie! You have done a great job simplifying this very important information. It was very helpful.

    Thanks again!

  • Thanks Natalie. I'll keep this lesson in mind

  • good video ;)

  • Yes, I agree you are straight forward not trying to sell me anything. Just speading the word about mother nature and whats good for me. thank you for doing this...im starting to feel doors opening in my head about ways I can lose weight and feel better about myself. you are a good romodel and I look up to you. thank you again for being so straight forward and so honestly good natured.

  • Taders Joe's has a little bit of processed food but otherwise is a great store for whole foods.

  • Hi Natalie

I totally agree with your message as I used to be the executive director of a wellness center where we fed people whole living food curing most disease. However, most are addicts and once they walk out the door, the addictive temping food industry grabs them by their taste buds.

Please dont get discouraged when people dont want to hear your beautiful message. Just take it in stride and only share with those who ask.

    Peace

    Steven

  • Well done Natalie.

    Cheers,

    Ian

  • Natalie forgot to mention, processed foods are highly engineered! Engineered to make you come back for more... Sugar + Fat = highly addicting food.

  • Wonder what she thinks of tinned tuna? thats a large majority of my diet.

  • We love you Natalie. Your incredible beauty and cute and charming personality is living proof enought that everything you have to say is the truth and I'Il challenge anyone who thinks it's not. No one as beautiful as you are could possibly sustain such a bright smile and perfect skin living on junk processed food. How can we find out if you ever give "in person" talks or seminars as Pennie and I and so many of our friends and large family would love to meet you.

    Warmest Regards,

    Denny Costello

  • Great video! I'm glad I'm not the only one who can't stand the food industry that constantly has commercials on Kids TV telling them to eat a pop tart for a healthy breakfast! The people of this era don't understand the difference between foods from nature which we were meant to eat and packaged, canned chemical and preservative-laden crap. The worst part is...people don't think it's bad and tell you you're crazy or have an eating disorde for refusing to eat this crap.

  • Thanks, you present all the facts so clearly its hypnotic. I love your videos, you have changed my life for the better. XXX

  • Rule of thumb:

If God or nature made it, it's good for you. If man made it or altered in some way, we fucked it up.

  • @PITTSBURGHESE86 But wait, didn't god make man?? In effect that would mean god is responsible for Mcdonalds.

  • @PITTSBURGHESE86 Even snake poison?

  • @PITTSBURGHESE86 Yea? Ok, now go to Africa and tell the people there that. You are scum, if it wasn't for genetic engineering we would not be able to feed nearly a billion people using all the land on our planet. Genetic engineering has saved billions of lives, thats more then can be said for god.

    Rule of thumb:

If you don't understand a subject, say nothing!

  • @RedPower012

Genetic engineering is a whole different subject, because it's still fruits and vegetables. Processed foods generally refer to shit like potato chips that are potatoes, but deep fried in oil with tons of horrible shit added to it.

  • Beautiful lady.

  • Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!

I found this som usefule and informative.

But most importantly, I found I could trust and believe this information.

  • you can buy organic and whole foods that are in packages....

i buy organic granola w/ acia berry, pita chips, natural sorbet, ect.

but a lot of processed food does come from boxes, packages, ect

  • I am a professional boxing trainer, and watch she said is 100% true. The processed food industry is a corrupt industry bent on mere profit, just look at the biggest enemy of helth today HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP...if people knew how many food items at this posion ingredient and understood the negative effects, they would stop and make the time to make a home cooked meal generous in fresh fruits and vegetables. Great Job Natalie...Thanks for the advice

  • can i ask what your opinion on protein shakes are? I don't think I agree with them, I've stopped taking them. and now take organic whey powder, I try and eat as much organic food as possible

  • Not all things that come in a box/bag/carton are bad for you, but they are indeed processed. Otherwise, they would not have gotten into the container. But her point about spoilage is an excellent one. Packaged foods made with natural, minimally processed ingredients will spoil because they haven't been augmented with chemicals - they have just been made "easier" - such as frozen veggies, canned beans, etc. Thanks Natalie for posting this!

  • This information is so very important to everyone but most people don't take the time to inform themselves about nutrition. Fat people are everywhere because of it. Thank you Natalie for your time and effort in putting out this video.

    GRADE A

  • That all happens at the factory. So, basically what I'm saying is that what imfromnature is claiming is impossible unless you live on a dairy farm.

  • The milk is whole and organic when it leaves the tank at the farm, unless the farmer injects hormones into the cows, ours doesn't. So, when we get milk from the tank and put it in our refrigerator the fat doesn't seperate. I can take out the container and pour a glass of fresh milk. Not many Americans can do that though because the famers aren't allowed to sell their milk from the tank because the USDA regulates that the bacteria has to be killed prior to sale.

  • imfromnature,

Have you ever drunk milk straight from the tank on the farm? I say tank because most farms don't milk their cows by hand into a bucket, it just takes too long. Lol. So anyways, the cows are milked and the milk flows into these wonderful metal tanks that store and keep the milk cold. Then these big trucks with big refrigerated tanks come and pump the milk from the one container into the other. They visit many farms and then they go to a factory.

  • Will you marry me and bare me children?

  • That's not true ravemiracles, widespread processing started during the World Wars to expand shelf life because the country was rationing. And, of course, the food manufacturers continued to use processing as a way to extend their bottom line. Americans can eat healthy, they just have to be inconvenienced with cooking (not necessarily a bad thing) and learn the right ways to eat (not what junk they teach in public school)

  • what about frozen veg e.g peas,sweetcorn????

  • rabbitts3^^^^^^^^^

frozen fruits and vegetables usually have been blanched (slightly cooked) to kill the enzymes that will continue to deteriorate the fruit or veg. Enzymes are necessary for digestion and so you loose a little by not buying fresh.

    i'm so confused.

since the instant oat is packaged.

  • it is processed, at least in the instant form. oats are milled down with an added chemical to make them cook fast. there are whole oats you can but. they take a lot longer to cook but can also be sprouted.
