The reason these "possies" wear the "Long sleeves and pants" is because they want to be as close to Mil-Sim as possible. There is a difference between what they are doing and what one can only imagine you do in your backyard.

With exceptions,(terrorists, hostage situations) it is perfectly acceptable and suggested you wear a uniform representing what you are trying to emulate.
