  • I have a question about the part at 5:50: Is it so much of a breakthrough or rarity when a girl, right before prom or a big party, is feeling extremely self-conscious about her appearance, posture, mannerisms, etc.? I do this too, but TV shows make this seem like typical girly behavior.

Just to clarify, I'm not doubting you or anything; but was there anything *about* your insecure moments that the doctor thought was uniquely indicative of Asperger's? Thanks.

  • @likebroccoli good point, i think that was maybe a breakthrough because everything else i told him about myself and everything else he got out of me was pointing to aspergers, so when he asked that it was clear, im guessing? good question though, because girls do typically get nervous and whatnot. Although i think he recognized that my response to his question was a little more on the "clueless" side. Hope this helps!

  • Thumbs up if you yawned every time she yawned.

  • Hahahaaa, you are JUST LIKE ME. :D <3 *Hugs*

  • I think I have aspergers.........it's like your reading my mind good thing I was scheduled for next week for a therapist for anxiety disorder

  • oh (sorry for spamming) PS: Cannabis with high amounts of CBD tend to be showing really great results in people with autism and asperger spectrum across the board. For me it is like a switch flips and I feel like I can look people in the eye and deal with people on an emotional level much easier.

  • That feeling of not feeling connected in a human way, EXACTLY how I feel!

  • yes you do have aspergers i can see that. fake yawning.

  • thats the thing i believe doctors get wrong i think theres aspergers and Highfunsoning autism both goes into 1 really but then going even higer then that is off.

  • my wife would kill for the frog figures covering their eyes and mouth on your counter. randomness, anyway i have all same issues and i was diagnosed in october with correct diagnosis finally. I guess it's just me but i will never let anyone video tape me or get a picture of me head on so I'm impressed you could hold it together for this video. i would be all over the place.

  • Good video.Very informative..Btw you're very pretty :)

  • @xxtasha10xx thanks!

  • I self-diagnosed myself just months ago. I feel kind of better knowing that I have it cause I can somewhat control it sometimes, but it's really bad most of the time and really hard... I've been doing so badly with everything because of this depression created by the syndrome. Like an emotional dump. Anyways thanks for this video!

  • @anime891 Don't say you have aspergers until you get diagnosed by a professional.

  • @garethofthedead but i did get diagnosed by a professional.

  • @AshleyJ61993, he wasn't talkin to ya, darlin'. Us REAL aspies need to stick together. Anime891 may have aspergers, but you should never self-diagnose!

BTW, Love your video, it's helped so much finding other people with aspergers out there!

  • @TheBoxingCannabyte I don't even really know what I have. I also have symptoms of mild hallucination but I'm not sure enough to see a doctor to have that checked.

  • @TheBoxingCannabyte Everything starts with a self-diagnostic. You talk as if I label myself to have Aspergers because I want to. I've been living my life like a hell not being able to talk to people and start conversations. Thinking that maybe I was mentally ill for not being able to make friends and all. I've had suicidal thoughts ever now and then, but now that I know I have it, it's something that I can try to understand and control. I've had more than 1 diagnostic, too.

  • @garethofthedead I self-diagnosed myself and had myself checked professionally and it turns out I do have it. Like what she mentioned on the video too about having the syndrome as being spot on when someone that has it or feels like they have it view the symptoms.

  • @anime891, You need to be seeing a PSYCHOLOGIST or a psychiatrist who is NOT a psychopharmacologist (they are hard to find these days, most would rather write you prescription and see you for only 15 minutes, max). Get diagnosed, see a second person if you can. I really didn't accept my aspergers until my third diagnoses. Now after my 4th and getting involved in the aspie-community as well as the athiest and pro-cannabis community I've been feeling a lot better about myself.

  • @anime891, no offense meant to you. But it's almost insulting ot people like myself and Ashley who really do have aspergers and all the other people who have it and who have it on the borderline spectrum between aspergers and a heavier form of autism. It's unfair to us who have been professionally diagnosed and who have lived with the ridicule ands tigma of that. You are putting this stigma on yourself with no real justification other than doing online reasearch which I KNOW is very-

  • -Convincing, believe me I do empathize with you in your search for answers. But most importantly, you are doing yourself a disservice. Because you could have deeper problems than the aspergers, you also are self-diagnosing so by that very definition you are ill-informed on the subject. It's easy to match up symptoms when you are desperrate for answers.

  • I just received my diagnosis today. I am mild too. Thank you for this video!

  • @darkdesignband awe no problem :D

  • @darkdesignband oh by the way, im from nj too
