  • Awesome! Those old dudes still got the spirit to rock! And the audience goes wild even tho' its been 40 years since they were at their highest! Rock on! Yeah!

  • This is the very best version of Mrs. Robinson I ever heard! Holy crap, I was just staring and listening with my mouth half opened! WOW! This is my fave song!

  • at 0:57 they sound like their drunk

  • they probably are, not just drunl, but high too! no normal human been cAn perform all night long!!

  • What can I say about the movie?

It's awkward, funny, horrifying, sad, shocking and endearing.

I watched it and couldn't take my eyes off it, but at the same time so uneasy about whether or not I want to know what happens.

You find yourself struggling not to connect to the characters, but eventually you succumb to their presence.

The movie is a heart pounding movie, with an odd ending that leaves you imagining.

  • Now here's to you Mrs. Robinson...

    A MUST-SEE: The Graduate (1967)

  • I haven't seen the movie, but this is a fun song! Very catchy! The guitar/piano/keyboard solo was awesome! I want a Tele with a Bigsby.

  • Geat Song!

    5/5

  • oh thank you i love this song

  • Oh God ...... chevere

Now I spend weekends and evenings chasing fat women.

  • Pennywise did a cover maybe thats the one your thinking of.

  • pennywise does a cover of it if thats what your thinking of.

  • Didn't the beatles sing this?

  • No!

  • I could sware I thought this was The Beatles.

    o_0

  • Sweet Gorilla of Manilla, this song Rules and those 2 guys will always be on top !

anyone knows a good cover of it ? I heard one in american pie 2, but i don't seem to find who did it.. sounds punk rock.

  • Mrs. Robinson... you're trying to seduce me!

  • The first time I related to this hit, I had only been out of rehab about 6 months. You see I too am alcoholic, and so is Mrs Robinson. I drank too much liquor, too long and become addited to alcohol. Listen to the lyrics. Checking into rehab, sharing with your counselor, seeing the despiration in those to who are there.

Hide it... and most of all hide it from the kids. My poor family, the insaine man I became...Try listening again. For all those other families like mine, Please forgive me..

  • Well said brother. Me too..

  • is that jim keltner on drums?

  • Yes it is.

  • They still got it! amazing performance as usual from two legends

  • piosenka z mojego dzieciństwa. love it.

  • muito bom,sensacional, nota 10 .

  • Love it, but I miss the kookookachoo (no idea how to spell that!)) after the "hide it from the kids." I love Simon and Garfunkel! It looks like they were having a blast!

  • ring a nuisance

  • Garfunkel tape un piano et Simon joue de la guitare très bizarement. Aurait ils bu ?lol

  • ohh man i remember my friend singing this to me and i didnt know he was refering to one of the best songs in the world

  • fantatic...amazing!!!!!!

  • fantastic

  • Just Amazing!!!

  • Great singers of my youth. So nice,

  • awesome.

  • Which one of them sings the harmonising high bit? Most notably on the chorus

  • That's Art. The tall one.

This arrangement of this song is so unspeakably awesome. You can feel a lot of love from those in the audience who are dancing and singing with it--especially that "Joe DiMaggio" girl at about 3:44.

  • So Art is the higher of the 2?

  • "The higher of the two"? Well, his voice is higher, so yes. And he's taller, so yes. And he smokes more weed, so yes.

I'm just kidding. Nobody smokes more weed than Paul Simon.

    (Kidding, kidding! Lighten up.)

(I said "Lighten up," not "Light one up.")

  • I think Art is the lower harmony, just listen to the song on 1:45.

  • ok, i now have seen a lot of simon and garfunkel vids and art is the higher harmony on most of them, so i think art is the higher in here also.

  • That 1:45 were talking about is convincing

You can hear his voice carry on, seeing as he is the only singing at that point its easy to distiguish

  • Maybe Art went down as low as he could go for that solo line at 1:45, but he jumped right back up when Paul rejoined the harmony.

If there's any doubt over which of these two guys has the high voice, find a video of Art singing "Bridge Over Troubled Water". You'll feel silly for thinking that he's not the guy in charge of high notes in this band.

  • Old guys sing gooder than most

  • Well said.

  • Good engrrrrish!

  • I agrees!

  • @llkennedy13 NOT GOODER (BETTER)!!!!

  • LOL i wish a Mrs. Robinson would saduce me. And what the hell does the comments above have to do with this great song?

  • they are too good. they music will live on for years. simon and garfunkel forever!!

  • they look sooo happy

  • Please just listen to the music and feel it.. that&s all you have to do .. a way to say : tnank you guys :) ( i mean Simon and Garfunkel ) ;)

  • omg, this is not a forum for religion! but,it i see it in so many comments everywhere. talk about the freakin' music. they both had great careers...together & apart.

  • passive27: shut the fuck up you fucking THEOphope. if you hate religion and religious people keep your hate to your self you fucking bigot. learn to be 'tolerant'.☺

  • AND THINKS TO YOU MRS ROBINSON, JESUS LOVES YOU MORE THAN YOU WILL KNOW,

    Amazing words there

  • Simon never looks at Garfunkel once. Oh dear. Such a shame. Everybody realises he's a great songwriter, just with AG they become....special?

  • Everlasting classic and i don't give a fuck about the religion of S&G. It`s the music, stupid !

And by the way : Jesus was jewish.

  • Jesus was born Jewish but he is christian. Anyway, the Jews thought he was just a prophet and not the son of god. When he actually is the son of god and he is god. Some jews think he is some jews dont.

  • @watsonwolffang

Nonsense. According to the bibel Jesus was born as a Jew and died as a Jew. Christianity is a religion FOLLOWING Jesus. Jesus himself not even talked about founding an own religion.

  • if he was a christian, that would mean that he worshipped himself, moron. Christianity wasn't established for years after the death of the supposed Jesus Christ.

  • stop the stupid religious crap!!!! it's a freakin' good song...leave it at that.

  • my 2 year daughter totally loves this old friends on stage concert given half the chance she would have it on all day long, this is music at its very best, not people trying to sing to remakes of the old stuff, if any artists can come out with music like this i think it would be a miracle these days.

  • i love them and for ur information they are a christain band. maby u should l8isten to more of there songs!

  • Its kind of hard to be a christian band when both the band members are JEWISH!

  • it is not a christian song, just cos a song contains the words 'jesus' and 'god' does not make it christian. Don't limit yourself, you don't need to believe in something to give it artistic merit.

  • u love this song only because its christian?then ur fucked up

  • Thats a really really ignorant comment. Thats like saying, i like this band bcuase its a black band

  • thats not ignorant, a song can be interpretted many ways by different listeners so if the listener likes the song because its christian then thats their opinion

  • Its kind of hard to be a christian band when both the band members are JEWISH!

  • Jewish is like Christian. They both believe in God. They both came from god. And they are both gods people.

  • You are a damn idiot. Jews and Christians are not alike. They dont read the Christian bible... and with your logic, then ALL monotheistic religions are the same because they "both came from god"... whatever that means.

The band is Jewish, so you original statement is incorrect. Why not like a song because its GOOD instead of a stupid reason like "the song is christian"... espesually when you dont even know what you are talking about.

  • They are alike. God saved the Jews from Egypt bringing them to Isreal. They both read the same bible exept the Jews just think Jesus is a prophet not Gods son so the only read the Old Testament and not the New Testament when Christians read both. They both believe in the same god and they will both be saved. They just have diffrent ways of worshiping the SAME god.

  • gee thanks for giving us a lesson on world reilgon

  • Jews have their own Holy Texts. They do not read the christian bible. They have different beliefs and different practices. They are NOT the same religion and they are only alike in the same way that christians and any other monotheistic religions are.

Your original statement is still incorrect. They are not a christian band. Nothing you say will change that.

  • Garfunkul is the one with the big firzzy heir that is kind of orange

  • ponynose if he looks like a drunk dad at a party like you say...maybe its cos he feels he's earned the right too, you stupid fuck

  • Whats with the ridiculous stance that Paul Simon has at the begginning. He looks an embarrassing drunk dad at a party.

  • same sound, same voices! amazing!

  • Does Garfunkel have anything else to waer besides that black vest? LOL

  • Does Garfunkel have anything else to waer besides that black vest? LOL

  • In Germany we would say Oberbananentittelaffengeil to this song ;D

  • get it :)

simon and garfunkel made music from good, great, to amazing. they still persist to make that magic, and they will for ever. just listen to this song, feel the magic :)

  • DANG...they look so old...but they still sound pretty much the same. Bloody awesome.

  • them dancing bitches should sit down an fukin listen

  • The last time I checked, placing your hips in a standing position did not automatically close off your ears. It could be argued that they were being inconsiderate of those in front of them, but unless the "offended" parties cared to press the case, you were the only one harmed.

  • omg they got so old! but they still have the amazingly unique simon & garfunkel talent.

gives me chills everytime i watch this i love them both!

  • Best songwritres of teh 20th century! dude.

  • I love these guys. They are like fine wine which tastes better and better as years go by.

  • two Great men!!!

    好歌不厭,百回聽.

  • love this song! Wooh!

  • Rock it, Paul! LOL!

  • Paul is really getting down....

  • "The Graduate" is surely one of the finest films and its "Mrs. Robinson" among the greatest cinema songs of all time.

  • that bit at the beginning is "the graduate" am i rite??

  • yes you are right

  • Casperbait, why did you even watch the video when you have only rotten things to say about it? This happens to be my favorite duo of the sixties.

  • ha simon is rocking it.

  • its just amazing that these guys are still playing.

I agree they are quite a bit off tune, but they are how old? give them a break. Whats even more amazing is that they have entertained people of all ages for over 50 years, and still continue to rock. legands.

  • This is my favorite version of this song yet. Especially the way they emphasize the "to" in "And here's TOOOOO you, Mrs...", and the "you" in "Where have YOOOUUU gone, Joe..."

  • yeh i agree...casperbait- shut your fuckin mouth! they are legend

  • Hey I went to this concert and it was the best concert I HAVE EVER BEEN to!! They were great

    (and Im 28)!! RESPECT

  • heaven holds a place for those who pray.....;D i love this song...godlike^^

  • "Ne-l l y

if you didn't like me then,

    you gonna hate me now"

Nelly is used to ignorant people rippin him... al when

he's the modern day simon and g rolled into 1!

  • very good better than gay singers like nelly rapping is gay it self..this is real music! rappers can't sing!

  • For a couple guys who started out in 1955 they sound great still. I can't think of one performer who can still play and sing the way they can after 52 years. Give em a little credit.

  • Casperbait... mother fucker!!

  • Just amazing, they sound like angels!

  • godlike

  • I love that song :D

  • i have that dvd!

  • Bravo.............muito bom.

  • Amazing!

  • funny how someone always digs up useless facts on these guys. so what? i love me some simon & garf anytime of the year! superb!!! thanks marc

  • dude they sound way off now but its still good in da original song it was just the right amount of meleody but ah well its still good!

  • Even though Simon wrote all of the songs Art was a big part of the success of the duo his vocals really added depth to the songs. Also when Simon struck out on his own he changed the arrangements to his classic songs and they lost all their charm and validity. I believe Art kept Paul grounded and pushed for the folk sound that made them so great. Its amazing that they sound so good after all these years their voices havent changed a bit.

  • Very true, I dont think Paul would have reached the same sucess if it wasn't for Art. But i think it's vice versa to. They still sound great.

  • fleetwood53

    two great guy's

  • Pathetic, casperbait?? They are so freakin' awesome!
