  • I was there!!

  • fuckin gorgeous

  • YANKEES SSSSSUUUUUCK! LOL!

  • Sorry, but the greatest fans in sports are those of the GREEN BAY PACKERS. Want proof? Has your team sold out every single home game since 1960? No, but the Packers have. That's loyalty. The season-ticket waiting list is some thirty years long. That's devotion!

  • Probably another roided up yankee

  • enter sandman was trevor hoffman not mariano rivera

  • @scottfree66 oops trevor is hells bells which is better but cool

  • Damn this is pure Yankee swag..... Nobody in baseball has the best closer, the most championships, and the greatest fans.

Sincerely a Die hard Yankee Fan

  • It's cool how it goes from organ music then cuts to Metallica! Awesomeness!

  • Go phils...

  • 602 saves, 5 world series titles, Greatest closer of all time

    -=Pinstripe Pride=-

  • Yahks4life!!

  • Mariano is the greatest closer ever. But he's so lucky to have that many chances in the first place. I mean he's blown game 7 of the world series for Christ sake! Any other player in history would be considered an eternal bum just for that. Not hating, he's the greatest, but he has definitely gotten lucky being with the Yankees his whole career.

  • @Dudemandudeman19 Boots to asses!

  • does anybody remember trevor hoffman?

  • Papelbon's has a better entrance

  • @Baseballbat95 No Mariano has the best.

  • @Baseballbat95 Papelbon has a better entrance? It's a failed attempt to copy Rivera. Also, Rivera doesn't choke after he makes his entrance

  • @nyy22592 Oh like when rivera blew it against the sox this year?

  • @Baseballbat95 Yeah that sucked because then the Yankees missed the playoffs because of it. OH WAIT THAT WAS THE RED SOX.

  • @nyy22592 What the fuck does that have to do with anything? My statement was papelbon has a better entrance. I wouldn't be bragging so much after that pathetic playoff performance.

  • @Baseballbat95 Pathetic? No no. They lost the series by 1 run to a good team. The red sox were responsible for the BIGGEST CHOKE IN BASEBALL HISTORY. A 10.5 game lead with a month to go and they go 7-20. Nobody has ever done that poorly for a period that long with so much on the line. "Buchholz will be back for the playoffs!" LOL TOO BAD THEY DIDNT GET THERE.

ANYWAYS Rivera's entrance is a lot more memorable and well created. His nickname is the sandman, and "enter sandman" plays when he enters

  • @Baseballbat95 Papelbon's song is an irish song about boston, when Papelbon isn't even irish. He was born in Louisiana for fucks sake. He goes in then chokes whenever it counts. That's why he won't even be in boston next year.

  • @nyy22592

Rivera is an old fuck! lolzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

  • @nyy22592

AH! Another insecure Yankees fan who feels threatened by

    someone else's opinion. lol

  • @YankeesFansAreMyPrey Threatened? Rofl. Lol@you. 2009 world series.

  • @nyy22592 YEP! - Sounds like insecurity to ME! LOOOOOOOOOOOL! tool.

  • @YankeesFansAreMyPrey You spent the time to make a Youtube account to troll people. If i didn't know better, I'd think you were actually hurt or annoyed by the success of the Yankees. This would be the case, except I already know you're a Yankee fan who's just here to get a reaction out of people. Well done and go Yankees!

  • @nyy22592 LOL! - I OWN YOU! - YOU'RE MY NEW BITCH! LOL! lolz

  • @YankeesFansAreMyPrey Damn. Thought you were a good troll. I'm disappointed :(

  • @nyy22592 - SO OWNED! lol

  • John 3:14 And the lord said go Sox

  • I think The Final Countdown should be an alternative to Mariano's entry.

  • GO PHILLIES!

  • @primalaggression ASSSSSS-HOLE! ASSSS-HOLE! ASSSS-HOLE!

  • @manfulify

    Yankees SUCK! lolz

  • @primalaggression Coming from a Phillies fan, that means nothing. 2009 World Series. Lol@you

  • @nyy22592

    GO DETROIT! - FAGOT! lolz

  • @primalaggression Detroit hasn't won since the 80s :)

  • @nyy22592 Yankees didn't win in the eighties at all. They were a buncha' 5th placers. heh-heh-heh.....

  • @primalaggression Indeed. And the Phillies have been around almost 120 years and have only won twice.

  • @nyy22592

And Detroit beat the poor WANKEES! HA! HA! HA! YOU SUCK! lolzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

  • @primalaggression Fail trolls are fail. 2009 world series. Aww u still mad. Your best hitter is out for a year :)

  • @nyy22592

Lets hear it for Gay Jay Burnett! - Nah.....Just kidding! lolz

  • @primalaggression Boots to asses!

  • @nyy22592 Boots to asses!

  • Greatest closer on the face of the earth, this coming from die-hard Sox fan. Hope he stays in the majors for as long as possible!

  • @redsox146891427 whaat? D: your username says it all. I must accept that Dropkick Murphys are cool, but they can't with the power of Metallica! =P

  • The Cuban guy who has a rubber band for an arm and the best closer in baseball, thanks to that cutter no one can hit.

  • apaga y vamonos

  • Niceeee!!!

  • My nigga ...greatest closer of all time indeed!

  • 0:03 that black guy wit the white shirt is mariano rivera

  • que viva mi PANAMÁ

  • What a champ <3

  • Without a doubt - Mariano Rivera is the greatest closer of all time. Definate Hall of Famer!!!! ------ You know the game is over when you hear "coming in to pitch for the Yankees #42 Mariano Rivera" with Enter Sandman playing in the background.

  • Mariano may be the greatest closer of all time, but Brian Wilson has an epic beard.

  • @Coastergeekperson04 The beard, is the greatest thing in baseball. It's the source of his powers.

  • @Coastergeekperson04

    and is better this year.

  • @Coastergeekperson04 Wilson's beard fears Mo. All bow to the master!

  • @Coastergeekperson04 and Mariano has an epic entrance song

  • @Coastergeekperson04 he's definately not the best closer of all time

  • @Coastergeekperson04 no its trevor hoffman

  • This is the reason I go to Bronx from Sweden, Europe. To see the great Mo enter and blow away one batter after another. Pinstripes forever!

  • awesome!

  • greatness!

  • im glad, at 13- i had went there on multiple occasion- and i can tell my decendents i was there- r.i.p old yankee satdium

  • I am 31 years old. I have just noticed now that a closer is as important as the starting rotation is. Congrats to the yankees! on having one of the best for the last 15 years!

  • Fuck Tha Yankees. But Mariano Rivera Is The Fuking Best Closer Ever, He Might Be In Top 50 Players Of All Time, Hes A Fucking BADASS

  • @chachidog10 and Jeter Posada and Rivera were all with the yankees for the last 15 years :)

  • Brian Wilson has a better song, and has the most saves!

  • the beard couldn't warm up in same bullpen as mo, hes good but hes no mo

  • you guys are forgetting the beard out in SF

  • The best closer ever

  • Hey Red Sux fans, if you think Mariano sucks so bad, then why did you try to recruit him to get rid of Papelbum?! I'm just saying... Your just admitting that Mariano is better than your Papelscum.

  • I like the yankees and Metallica lol. Th3$3 r m¥ 3p!x £3tt3r$ @nd the¥ pwn £0£ €¥@

  • If only this appearence was a save situation, how appropriate that would have been

  • @1994ACE1994 Bill Buckner... nuff said.

  • The Yankees are the worst team in baseball.....LOL!

  • Do people that say randy johnson was good know nothing about baseball history.

Nolan ryan, grover cleveland alexander, lefty grove, bob gibson, christy mattewson, warren span. etc. Todays players suck. Look at the numbers. Randy doesnt make my top ten list for pitching

  • thats iconic dude

  • @nyy22592 team with most players on the Mitchell Report? all i got to say

  • 2001 world series, 2004 alcs...nuff said

  • @1944ACE1944 Last AL team to win the world series...Nuff said.

  • I miss this place. New Stadiums cool..But it doesnt feel the same.

  • hey uh...what do you say you all STFU about who is better than who, and admire the man in this video instead.

besides.... mariano rivera > [insert anyone here]

  • I'm a proud panamanian! (in case you forget Mo is from Panama)

  • Rays are in first place lol

  • @tbraysfanforever

Yanks are in 1st place lol

  • @Justin3Santiago Yeah waited a week to post that moron.

  • @tbraysfanforever

I just saw the video, crybaby. get over yourself. Tampa Bay was just a cheap spark. The only thing Tampa has is David Price ( Who I admit is a good young pitcher). Yanks are in 1st place and that is all that matters.

  • @Justin3Santiago I understand I know it will be hard for them to compete believe me. I hate that we're struggling but most people didn't expect us to be in the position we're in, we've done well considering we were supposed to struggle just to get 70-80 wins, early season predictions. We may still end up terrible but we are also in the toughest division in Baseball and thanks for the respect, appreciate it. respect to you too and sorry for the first comment just kinda hit me by surprise.

  • @tbraysfanforever But anyways we're cool, good luck to you.

  • @Justin3Santiago Look I don't care anything about that I am just saying don't come on here acting like I don't know what I am talking about, at the time we were in first place. I know we aren't now but I am not a "crybaby" I support my team no matter what. Also, David Price isn't the only thing we have going for us.. Our Farm System is great and James Shields? How can you not talk about him the guy is on FIRE. Not to mention our potent lineup. But hey Yanks in first who cares? Seasons not over.

  • @tbraysfanforever

I will give it to you, I forgot about Shields. Your farm system is good, no doubt about it. What I am trying to say is that right now, It is hard for the Rays to compete in the AL East, the thoughest division in baseball. The Red Sox are starting to heat up, The Yanks are coming into form and The Rays are just there. Like I said, Baseball is a long season, which is why I think Philly will fail. NO bullpen. but I don't argue that Rays are a good team , just not good enough now

  • RED SOX BEAT THE YANKEES! LOL! FUCK! lol

  • @YankeesFansAreMyPrey mmmmm.......RedSuxs arent even gonna make the playoffs!!

  • Comment removed

  • @njlucifer

NEITHER ARE YOU! LOL! - The Yankees will. - BUT NOT YOU FAGOT! lol

  • 11 Red Sox fans watched this video

  • Comment removed

  • Trevor Hoffman's entrance was better.

  • Many of you are forgetting Steve Carlton and Tom Seaver. Just look at the numbers. Look at how many innings they logged and still kept a great ERA and won 300+ games. You can't possibly put Pedro Martinez in the class of those two. And I love Mariano Rivera but put him in the reliever category. It's almost impossible to compile a list of the top 5 when there were so many pitchers who were great in the past 50 years. Many of you are posting your top 5 since you knew what baseball was.

  • @BDOUG23 1999 Pedro Martinez-AL-1.74 ERA. Do you know who was second in ERA in the AL? Roger Clemens-3.70.

  • @APBTerriers So how does that put him in the class of Carlton and Seaver? LOL Both of those guys won wll over 300 games and do you need me to post how many more innings and CG's they had? LOL No comparison! Do you even know what the original argument was? This guy said Pedro was # 5 in the last 50 years of all pitchers....LOL

  • @BDOUG23 Seaver is nowhere near him. I don't care how many games they won. That is not a good argument to use. And for you to so such disrespect to someone who put on the greatest single season for any pitcher just shows where you stand. Pedro Martinez in 2000 played better than Seaver ever did. Longegivty matters but not that much. And Randy Johnson>Seaver. And there's nothing you can say or bring up that would change that.

  • Mo has 5 rings, winningmost closer in postseason history, and currently like 30 saves away from hoffman so Mo will be the best ever for everything

  • 15 million a year just to pitch in the 9th inning but hell he deserves it he makes sure the other team doesnt score a single point, pinpoint pitches with deadly power, best reliever in baseball im 20 i may not have grown up with the best music but i grew up with some of the best yankees the world has seen

  • @malice1337 15 mil to pitch in the 9th inning for Mariano is worth it.....Being a Yankee fan myself since 1971, without MO they don't win all those titles and don't even make it far in the playoffs. Us Yankee fans will feel it when Mo retires....Never will there be another like him. Not for a long time anyway.

  • All I can say is good night

We are blessed to be able to watch one of the greatest pitchers ever

  • I am sure if he was a starting pitcher he would have had the most wins in mlb history.

He is already on the second all time in saves next year he should be the all time wins as a closer.

  • I get the chills everytime I see him pitch. He's incredible

  • Comment removed

  • as much as I love the Sox, the Murphys, and hate the Yankees, nobody does it better than mo, from intro to last cutter of the game

  • I hate the Yankees, but this is without a doubt the most intimidating entrance in the majors.

  • @fb54bb44 I also hate the Yankees but no Papellbon entering to the dropkick murphys is pretty insane..

  • @JaysFan3003 Dropkick Murphys sucks compared to this! GO YANKEES!

  • @TheeVulture i agree metallica kicks ass but you have oviously never been to a fenway park game... it is un...real... especially when papelbon comes out

  • @JaysFan3003 Your right, I have never been to a Fenway Park gaming and seen Papelbum come out, but I will tell you that based on seeing his entrance on YouTube is nothing like seeing Mo's at Yankee Stadium.

  • @JaysFan3003 HAHAHAHAHAHA. Yeah ok. Ask any MLB player and I bet they'll tell you Mo's is the most intimidating. The best closer ever coming into the game. I'm sorry but no one can be more intimidating than that. Especially Papellbon. Mo is 10 times the closer Papellbon ever will be.

  • @GTAMoviesAndFlix I didnt say he wasnt? i agree he and trevor hoffman best of all time no one will be able to catch them.. im saying at a fenway game its electric when papelbon comes into close the game. the music and how loud that place gets is ridiculous

  • @JaysFan3003 Go to Yankee Stadium and then tell me Fenway is louder.....NOPE....When Mariano comes in ESPECIALLY in the playoffs. You can't hear ANYTHING! Paplebon is nowhere near Rivera's class either.

  • @JaysFan3003 IMA LET YOU FINISH, BUT MARIANO RIVERA IS THE GREATEST CLOSER OF ALL TIME.

  • @nyy22592 NAHHH, JONATHAN PAPELBON IS!

  • @reg12269 Yeah with his 3.6 ERA?

  • @nyy22592 mariano has FOUR blown saves and at the end, sox will be in the drivers seat. pap's bad numbers r from non-save situations (just one blown). over the next few years as jeter and a-roid need walkers to get on the field, sox will still feature studs in their prime. do u know how many terrible long-term deals u have? when does soriano come back? 2 more years of that.. u cant cut all of them, even the yanks have a limit. sox have better brain power and a better closer right now!

  • @reg12269 Umm. Whatever you say. You can't read the future and apparently look past the many bad deals you have (ie crawford batting ~.240 and injured, Lackey, Daisuke, Everybody in their bullpen other than bard, JD drew, and every starter other than beckett). Whatever, neither of us can read the future, so we'll see what happens

  • @nyy22592 nah, i won't allow u to pull the equivalency card my friend. drew, dice are off the books this +next year. they will be replaced by non-free agents. who wouldnt have signed dice at the time? craw is still in his prime. diff with the sox and yanks is that theo has refused to budge on years. noone gets a big money deal running into age 35+. thats a big reason tex and a-roid are yanks. we draw lines. easier to correct ur errors or even make a trade. bad deal in aceves? remember him?

  • @nyy22592 PT2. wakefield, bad deal? albers? andrew miller, u kidding me? morales, a bad deal from colorado? wheeler, a bad deal? pap, a bad deal? pap likely will be headed to ur yanks after this one for we dont overbend. i will give you jenks thus far +definitely lackey. theo channeled his inner cashman on that deal. he was never worth the $. on the entire roster, u have THREE bad deals (cameron too). jenks, drew +dice were worthy gambles. how's igawa working out? yanks have like 7 bad deals!

  • @reg12269 Wheeler has an ERA of around 7. Pap is decent but sucks in non-save opportunities. Miller has made like 3 starts. Albers is doing OK, but nothing too promising yet.

And say what you want about bad deals, but look at granderson, swisher, and Martin. Three pretty good deals. And A-rod is outperforming any other 3B right now, Nunez is batting .320 since filling in for jeter, Cano is the best 2nd baseman in the league, and tex is doing pretty good considering he slumps early in the year.

  • @reg12269 Also don't tell me about Tex and Arod being bad deals, because the red sox would have bought them if they could. They definitely missed out on A-rod, but gonzalez is doing amazing right now. Trust me i don't hate the red sox. I just think that the yankees have been playing a lot better lately. To get back to my original point, the 2 best closers of all time are Trevor Hoffman and Mariano Rivera, and Rivera will soon pass Hoffman's save record with a much lower ERA.

  • @nyy22592 i love logic and u seem to invest in it. obviously, MARIANO is heads and shoulders the BEST closer ever. hoffman is not even in his league. like comparing jordan with anyone else in the nba. may be close if just based on the reg season but not even close when u incl all the post-season multi-inning, high pressure low ERA numbers. hoffman stunk in the post-season. but organizationally, sox have been better! gonzo is BETTER than tex. no way sox give a-rod more $ +years for opting out!

  • @reg12269 Yeah. I can definitely agree that the yankees blow some money where they shouldnt. And I agree Gonzalez is better than tex and is on pace to win MVP by a landslide. It's just so hard to see mo now because he's not what he used to be. the mets game today was pretty depressing, although their shortstop and umpire coulda been a little better

  • @reg12269 you can't even BEGIN to compare closers with the yabkees. two words. cut fastball.

  • @reg12269 Are the red Suxs even going to make the playoffs?// Watchout!! Here comes Tampa!!

  • @njlucifer is this the time for cheap shots? sox have the rope and dope going.. acting like we have nothing, limping in.. all of a sudden, here comes a blazing beckett-lester-aceves-bedard.. yep thats my story and i'm sticking to it. u can win another regular season, about the RING baby!

  • @reg12269 Hows that working out for ya? ROBERT ANDINO lol

  • @reg12269 Um.. yeah.. like you were saying? You forgot to mention Papelchoke... the most OVERRATED closer in history. EPIC COLLAPSE !!

  • @megavega4 hey its hard t o compete with that $210m payroll. look, no xcuses theo , tito and the ownership's insistence on buzz over substance caused us.. git nothing, yanks are the better team. believe it or not, since i once lived in NY, they are my second fave team, hope they get to the world series before gagging! sox suk right now, have to catch up and hire the right manager. thats y they play the games!

  • @njlucifer hey what r the yanks and a-fraud doing right about now? thats right they are playin golf with the sawxxxx! wait til next year.. sox have a easier chance rebuilding than yanks with all those high-priced untradeable AARP/DH-type guys. now its on for CJ wilson. will CC the FATASS even want to come back? how many more years wit burnett? we were in first for 4 months. without bucholz getting injured we would have been fine and beaten detroit!

  • @JaysFan3003 lol dont be an idiot. its not just the entrance its the fucking dominance that you know is coming right after it. papelbon isnt a wart on marianos ass, so therefore his entrance will NEVER be anything like marianos. not to mention no one but boston faggots give a shit about fucking dropkick murphys anyway

  • No Clemens?

  • He's The MAN........AND ALWAYS WILL BE MY FAVORITE CLOSER!!

  • Im a Yankee hater to the highest level! But Rivera is a class act, and no doubt the best closer ever!!

  • BEST CLOSER IN THE HISTORY OF MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL

  • I'm willing to bet Mariano is one of the most popular Yankees ever to don the pinstripes, but when he's gone, only then will he true value be realized. Nobody has ever been able to slam the door like him, and if you ask me, no one else ever will.

  • Great

  • Heath Bell FTW

  • most appropriate intro of any player

  • no closer compares to mo, were so lucky to have had him all these years. my favorite ever yankee

  • Comment removed

  • I would put Greg Maddux in there before Pedro Martinez. Just my 2 cents...

  • Classic footage right here man

  • as a baseball fan, best thing about Mo, he doesn't show up the other team when he closes a game and gets the last out unlike that "K-Rod" who convulses whenever he gets a rare save

  • being a red sox fan, i hoenstly have respect for the guy.

  • Greatest closer of all time. Period.

  • I never got to see a game at Yankee Stadium. I called about halfway through the last season, and they were sold out.

  • 1.Mariano Rivera

    2.Bob Gibson

    3.Nolan Ryan

    4.Sandy Koufax

    5.Whitey Ford

    Definitely the FIVE MOST DOMINANT!!!

  • @yankeejohn58 what about randy johnson?

  • Im shipping up to boston>enter sandman

  • Comment removed

  • They need smoke to come out of the bullpen when he enters. That would be epic

  • @tatertots00 Nolan Ryan at #3 makes the list pretty much a joke. Especially when #4 and #5 are who they are. Ryan is not really close to their level to be honest, while Clemens, Maddux, Johnson, Seaver, Carlton, etc. all should be ahead of him as well (some debatable, others for sure).

Not to mention as good as Rivera is, if you consistently got looks at his one pitch in a game he would become easier to hit. Comparing a reliever to a starter isn't really fair for either. Best reliever yes.

  • the best closer ever

  • thumbs up if mariano shouldnt be in the mlb, he should be in a league higher than that

  • Its over

  • what makes Mo so ridiculous is that he is the greatest of all time, but only throws ONE PITCH and NO ONE can hit it!

  • Top 5 pitchers of the last 50 years

    1.Mariano River

    2.Pedro Martinez

    3.Nolan Ryan

    4.Bob Gibson

    5.Sandy Koufax

  • @tatertots00 i agree with that list... actually i could add Randy Johnson too!

  • @jefetiger Randy Johnson would be top 10

  • @tatertots00 randy should be #3 on ur list, most dominant pitcher in history

  • Comment removed

  • @tatertots00

    i can agree on that

  • @tatertots00 Roger Clemens is up there too I think. Solid list though.

  • @FruschendrixFan01 top 15
