Wow..... Porn really has ruined the whole concept of transgender and all other aspects alike to it. I've been watching countless documentaries and memoirs about this top to better understand this subject ever since my friend brought it up over a crude sexual conversation. Thank you for being able to more enlighten ms on the topic
@frontliner0 thanks for watching and writing. I am not so fond of the Porn references, that stuff is all about the act of sex and lust and has very little to do with how real people are trying to educate the world about what it's really like. Life I mean, how people really live and cope or try to cope with difficult issue's that are not so commonly well known or understood.
I want to just say something. I am no stranger to activism. My variety is more on the side of the"slight against religion". Doing what I have done for the last year or so. I know what inhuman restrictions we place on people. Thanks for putting yourself out there to be heard.
@thinkbyproxy thank you for watching and commenting, I hope you don't mind me asking, but could you clarify the "slight against religion? reference. hmm, think I will take a look and see if you have any videos up for me to watch.
@thinkbyproxy you ought to make a public channel, while not everyone will agree with whatever opinion you have, youtube is still a prettygood way of getting out a message for others to learn from.
u rock i am 1 to but i was raise a male i am stay a male but wnt get nothen remove i have both part i have breast. i dont care you r amazing beautiful women i do feel what you are going trough
@lordkibekun happy to see your ok with a male assignment. I do believe it best that people decide for themselves what they are rather then let a parent or a dr force people to be something they aren't. wish you the best always
interesting what must have shocked parents was when they thought a boy was eunuck for here was nothingthe sack, well then he starts like anyo ther boy growing vouce cahnge and then sex,oh, back then they I asume didnot know about undesented testicles adn nevver knew but then he will fnd most likle hs is starlal one wonders does that happent in this age end are told he h as a good csahnce od testicle cancer if they can not brirng them down if he would be sterle
@SUPERDAVIDLEVINE hmm, actually I looked more like a girl at birth then a boy. There was a fair amount of questioning of what I was even after they said "It's a boy", Also a great deal of debate for many years later, even in my teens as it all depends on who is looking at what. I was told I was sterile at 15 1/2, 18 1/2, but at 19 viable sperm was found, I was asked If I would be willing to donate. I did at the time and again at 31 when they were taken, I gave consent for a family I knew.
This was beautiful. True child of God. God makes NO mistakes. If you ever think you're not strong enough, remember, he involved you in this because he knew you could handle it.
@breeonahaguilar7 thanks breeonah. I am pretty sure I have left her down a few times. But I am still trying as she is amazingly accepting and loving and it is the loving aspects of her that I cherish most. Don't you know Gods a Girl. or at least I would like to believe so.
@mishakailana Everything and everyone is made for a reason. Well, I grew up believing he was male, but to each his own. :) God is beauty, and that is just dandy with me.
you have a great attitude dispite the horrible things done to you in the name of 'medicine' I also disagree with the attitudes of much of society that feels the need to label and divide people by gender etc. people are just people. Diversity and uniqueness should be celebrated. You are awsome just as you are ment to be.
this is very intersted for it might be ossoated with being a euhuchI wonder if some boys wolld wnnt surgery lik age 8 or ninr I don, want tobe freek of nature others might feel it coll and I churge myfiends dolor apeek and they get envious of me
@SUPERDAVIDLEVINE That was a little hard to understand, and I thought I was bad with typos. hmm.. thinking... I would guess there are some that would. Perhaps a bit more in more accepting cultures. Fact is there happen to be many men walking around that don't even know what they looked like when they were born. Undescended testes are fairly common and as dr's say easily corrected. Ouch So just saying you could of been born eunich at birth and look pretty normal now.
I think he was surgically remodeled as a male too. After cross country practice we have to run down a trail to get back home, and we usually like take our clothes off and run naked but with our shoes, and he did too.
He is 13 almost 14 and his penis looks different than mine an my friends. Like i said he is almost 14, and he has a very small penis. Maybe hes just a "late bloomer" but it looks like he had surgery down there. And hes really skinny too.
@IanFromOregon hiya Ian. That is always a possibility trueth be told, that lil thing comes in all sizes either as flacid or eric. some of the smallest flacid can be some of the largest erect. When it comes to scarring seriously most people would never know without being a dr. and would have to be pretty damn close up veiw. Just cause its small doesn't mean he is a hermaphrodite.
My respect for standing up for who you really are! It's high time to stop being so short-sighted and learn to appreciate different people for their uniqueness and bravery. All the best to you!
@gygralock thanks gygralock for watching and commenting. I tend to like the unique things. So find it amazing when anyone has some well specialized talent or craft,Artists Singers Musicians and craftsman. I had not thought so much of people themselves being unique but guess that is possible too. There really is or are some really neat people in the world and getting to know them seems to be one way to learn what people are like. So just doing my little part helping people learn
@FireTalkProduction thanks. I agree as well, though would stress or advise others to try to respect everyone even if they don't quite understand why or how come. Everyone deserves respect.
Thank you for being brave enough to open yourself up to the world. You are a beautiful woman and I am so proud of you for educating people dispite the inevitable hatred you will get from the ignorant. Stay strong and God bless!
@2birdsphoto Thank you 2birdsphoto, I swear I have noticed some of the most interesting YT nicknames over the years. I am guessing your into taking photos of Birds? Just a guess and my apologies if I am wrong. Again thank you for taking the time to watch and comment.
Thank you for this video. You are a real true human is what I think, the best of the best from the inside out. This is fascinating. Sorry to hear about people making choices for you.
@mishakailana Hi Misha Kailana, thank you! I chose that name here because I like my spiritual teaching of light and sound. It means experiencing the light and sound which is like divine love... sortof hard for me to define it. I like having an opportunity to have the perspective that we are Soul first, with a human body. If you're interested: eckankar.org (they explain things a little better :) Again, thanks for posting.
@lightandsounder Thank you for explaining your use of the nick/handle on YT. I hope your own soul sharing leads to better understanding. Best wishes always.
@mishakailana Thank you! :) I enjoy learning from other people. The subject of intersex and hermaphrodite has always been interesting to me. A friend of our family was (I don't know what the name was, but had both sexes, I don't know all the details) and I knew "her" very well, she was very loving, such a good freind. In high school I gave a report on hermaphrodites to my classmates for one of our health assignments, just so they would know that this exists and that it's normal.
I absolutely love this ... and you!!! You are definitely someone I would love to be friends with. You have a friend in SC if you're ever in the area. :-)
@TracieMayo1 Thanks Tracie I appreciate the positive energy coming from your post. Hmm I haven't been in the SE USA since 1989 but who knows maybe some day. Thanks again
This was so inspiring! You really do have a beautiful soul :) I was also curious to how hermaphrodite's bodies actually worked (I'm just a curious16 year old - definitely not here for kinky reasons) So thank you. I loved this, and it made me understand a lot more about hermaphrodites...
I think people should be judged on who they are, rather than what sex they are.
@LookItsJustCharlie thanks for watching. I might point out that not all true-hermaphrodites agree with me. But for those of us who are open and take the time to share, we do tend to sound like we make some sort of sense. again thanks for taking the time to learn a little from my perspective.
I have to admit I looked up hermaphrodites b/c I wanted to SEE. For curiosity/educational NOT kinky purposes. What I found here in your video was much more than a picture could have taught me. Incredible story! Im so sorry you were made to suffer by your Doctors ignorance, and Im encouraged by your strength! Male or Female, you are an inspiration! Love, Kelly
God gave you what He gave you. It's yours. How can some doctor decide what you should get to keep? I think cutting off parts on a baby or even a pre pubescent child is insane. How do you make a decision for another human being like that? I am a fundamental Christian. I don't think it's shameful, or grotesque. It's your body. I make no judgements because there none to make. It's just a biological difference. Thank God you can be who you want, instead of who they say you should be. Stay beautiful
@GreenEyedBlueCat thank you for listening and writing a response. It is nice to see that even a fundamentalist Christian is understanding. Perhaps you could do me a small favor and share some of your insight with those around you. I really tend to think that the Fundamental Christians are less understanding of things that they are not aware of, With awareness comes acceptance. Sharing knowledge helps everyone understand each other better. thanks again for commenting.
@kamjones1mom thank you for the supportive comment. I haven't spent to much time recently posting thoughts but I usually get around to responding to all comments eventually. thanks again for watching and listening.
@MaximillianRed oh easy, That is exactly what most dr's actually behave when they encounter IS affected people. I have had many surgeries throughout my life, the last 2 were without my consent, ie as an adult, I should of been told, and asked what options were available... That is why I am an IS activists, technically a couch potato IS activist but well that's were I can draw the most strength of conviction from. I use my experiences to help the world learn what life is really like.
I respect you very much and agree with everything you have said. You are a stronger person than most of us. The world, especially in the middle east where I'm from, need to be more tolerant about sexuality. Thank you for your very inspiring story, and I hope you get everything you deserve.
@jugernautjuggalo I am real curious about your middle east comment and refferencing being more tolerant. To my knowledge the Q'uran has many passages concerning those born intersex, I thought there was a recognized 3rd sex name in Islamic script, alot like the wording of euniche's in the christian Bible? Then again from my experiences most Christians ignore what is written about acceptance and Euniches even those born that way. So maybe your experiencing the same nonsense in the Mid-East..
@misha Most people that practice religion are hypocrites, no offense intended to any of those who practice any type of religion. That is not the biggest problem, honor killings are worse. Christians had lynching back then, basicaly the same as honor killing, but Islam is not modernized in the middle east, its like they are still living in the past. I am from Iraq, and these do not happen often, it's mostly where Al Qaeda is prominant, like Afghanistan. It's just horrible. Sorry off subject
I mean, to be honest, you look like a perfect mix between a male and a female.... I have no idea how I wandered on this video but I just gotta say, you were born that way, it''s your decision, your body- more power to you. If you think you will be better off as a female, then good for you, whatever makes you happy. This is completely new to me honestly I am perplexed with this condition but I just wanted to say I respect you and the courage it took to make this video
wow.. this was very thought provoking.. thank you for making this.. i never had thought about how much someones sexuality could effect them psychologically.
@purplepinkpillow thanks, though I should clarify that its not my sexuality that affects my psychology. It is my Anatomical development that influences my self identity, with a fair amount of resentment against choices Dr's and Parents have made. Honestl its really just learning about the world and my own self understanding of what I am and how I feel. As far as my sexuality goes and I am honestly closest to a lesbian though many lesbians have a hard time accepting that.
I think that you are a very strong person for standing up for yourself and getting what you want. I personally think it's wrong that doctors are able to choose which gender is the right gender from a person. I think that you are a beautiful person and I honestly thought you were a woman when I first started watching this video. I hope that your transition went well and is still going well! You are quite unique but in the best way possible i think :)
@Denny3190 Thank you Denny3190 I am a little surprised that you initially thought i was a woman...lol especially as this video is close the 3 years old now. Still thanks for noticing. and thanks for the "unique in the best way" comment.. That reminded me of being back in Berlin. Put a smile on my face.
touching story. people are stupid to say that what someone looks like is what their sex should be. there are many people out there that identify as female or male but born oppisite. you should see a psych in order to get what you want. then the doctors cant say shit about what they think anymore. good luck with what you are hoping th achieve.
@tboy221 hey there thanks for watching and commenting. I have been dealing with Shrinks for over a decade. Some of the newer care standards I have had some influence on changing atttitudes within the realm of idiocy called psychiatry. Mind you it wasn't just me, but many other intersex affected people as well all trying to get some half way descent understanding of what it means to be IS. Anyways thks for writing.
I'm not intersexual, but i say...you are who you are, and that is the way it is. I'm straight and female, and i get a lot of flack from some people that don't like my liberated way of thinking, but i don't care. I am me. You do look like a girl except for the 5 o'clock shadow! I shave my upper lip and chin though cause i don't want any hair there, cause i'm a girl, and most women shave something! I do wish i had more eyebrows though! Anyway girl i have to figure out what to cook for dinner.xoxox
I admire your courage. I'm not an innersex individual but I know what it's like to be discriminated against and hurt and made fun of because of how I feel I was born. I'm gay and people don't even understand a simple thing like that. But you inspire me. And I wish you all the love and luck with any up coming surgeries you may have and keep your head up. You are a beautiful person. Anyone who doesn't see that isn't really looking. <3
Thank you for sharing this with all of us. It is very brave of you......I am just now understanding what is going on with me...........and these videos are helping me.....although I did bear a normal child........doctors were puzzled....
You're a man.. you have stubble get over it lol.. You will not be female you just are not a woman your a man you have facial hair you look like a man you sound like a man soo get the fuck overr it
I recently became aware of intersexual people, while reading a story about it. I think it's a really difficult situation and I'm sure you had a difficult past and present. But what I want to say is..there's nothing wrong being an IS. In this world there are females, males and intersexuals. That how it is. It sure requires a lot of courage because if there's no understanding it's only other people's fault. So keep it up!I really admire your courage; you're right you're stronger than we are. :)
@fantasyk87 thank you for taking the time to well just sit down and watch or listen or well you know thanks. I am not exactly sure if I am stronger or not but I do know that a great deal of my strength comes from my experiences. Some good most bad, in thier own way I have become stronger sharing my thoughts and feelings, regardless of the bad exp... and the good, really just encourages me to share more. thanks for watching
Wow.... you're so brave..especially transforming into a biological woman. I wish I could hug you. <3
I've not met any intersexed people or hermaphrodites, but I have 2 transgender friends and am a bisexual. You are so brave, so loved. Don't ever tell yourself otherwise. Keep being you.
@Ghaelwyn I am so very sorry I missed this comment. I am sure you have met someone who is intersex. Most people though do not share as openly as I do. We really are everywhere, but many are stuck in the shame of feeling different or afraid that people will judge them harshly.
hey i was wondering if you had any forums or places i caould talk to more people about this as im trying to become a little more open minded about Hermaphrodites and im sorry if this sounds just arrogant of me but i would like to be more informed
@brad24689 I don't use that many at the moment, OII is around and active, I use to be active on BodiesLikeOurs There are a few others but those are best for learning from lots of people with different conditions. BLO is good as it is a learning sharing support forum, OII is a good support but I will advise you to be carefulll. IS groups are testy places. very sensitve subject matter. Oh and not all like the word Hermaphrodite, fact is alot don't. I just don't mind
Kelana, I think you are a beautiful person. You are very brave to tell your story and I appreciate you doing so. I teach my kids that people come in all types of shapes, sizes, colors, heights, etc... I have done my best to expose them to all types of people so that they will feel comfortable around anyone and learn to accept people for who they are. I think you are pretty amazing and I admire your willingness to educate people at the risk of ridicule. (I apologize if I spelled your name wrong.)
thankyou for your insight!! you are an amazing person and very brave for putting yourself out there! good luck with your transition, with such a grounded and positive outlook you will be fine!! x
I'm not intersex but I am a FTM transgender so I have an idea of how you feel....your parents meant well but I think that they should've raised you as both and then as you got older let YOU choose which gender was best for yourself even if that meant a possibility of wanting to be both or neither, everyone should have that right as a child
I hope you find happiness with yourself, your body, and everything you do in life. You are well-spoken and very brave to put this on YouTube. Rude comments are by immature/ignorant people. You go grrl!
You are an incredible and amazing person. Your strength inspires me and I am sure that your coming forward will help many people in similar positions.
your a real strong person, 'i can take it' 'i provide rooms for comments' a strong person will hear these bullshit and keep walking towards their goals, i feel you, best wishes (:
Whoever presses the thumbs down is mainly....heartless and egoistic???
I think that everyone no matter of biological situation, race or religion should be considered your / mine / everyone's equal no matter of situation, religion or race you / me / everyone is in.
Disliking this proves your somebody who is and always will be under the normal level of common sense / knowledge / culture.
(simply for idiots)
If you dislike this person your proving your the king of idiots.Go ahead 15 already have.
@amyhunter83 thank you Amy, I am guessing I missed your comment when you wrote it. Think it is one of the more intelligent proses I have read in years. I must say I did have to read it a few times, and reread it a few more lol just to understand it was meant to both compliment and ridicule the less kindly Youtubers that exist out there. Smart criticism can go along way to show people how to behave civilly. <---hmm is that a word? I am guessing I am not that smart..
-Being humane with everything around. Including real or unreal, common or rare.
-Being able to understand that our standards of "NORMALITY" may very well be "ABNORMAL" compared to the standards of other species of humanoids. (Example: In Africa there is a village in which spitting into the hand / face of the other person means "My water is your water." while here it is abnormal and rude.)
-ETC. (There are many 1 comment will not allow me to continue)
DO NOT ANSWER THE QUESTION TO ANYONE ELSE BUT YOURSELF.
The way you see things might just as well be the truly right one and all the rest of us are just simians who behave and look like human beings but aren't truly evolved adequately.
There is also the possibility that (pardon me) you are just a genetic fail of mother nature and you and all alike to you are the true cancer of our race. ALL is possible we are an unstable race.
@amyhunter83 Humans excel at dehumanization. They use it to commit untold atrocities, to demonstrate cruelty and segregate people.
Amyhunter83, dehumanization is a cancer. It is an innate part of homo-sapien's psychological make-up and your comment was a perfect example of our innate ability to be cruel for the sake of devaluing another. For your sake, you might want to try to resist the urge.
@mishakailana Thank you for posting this remarkable video. You're a beautiful soul.
@amyhunter83 well I could indeed be one of Mother Nature's Failure's but if that is case, it is ok, as I live amongst Human beings and there are indeed quite a few like me, then clearly It is really up to everyone else who is so called normal to not judge those like me for the way I happen to be. The only trueth to be being Human is how Humane we really are. Lovely post in it's odd way, makes me think, not sure if I am right or not but I am trying and that is important.
I think it is your decision to be a female and not the doctors'. It's your body, and you're entitled to become a girl if that's really how you feel you should be. One of my good friends was born as a guy, but is very feminine, sort of like an inverted hermaphrodite. He is a very sweet, cute and sensitive boy, and he's planning on becoming a girl. Guys always tease him and beat him up for looking and acting so much like a girl, and it really upsets me. I wish you best luck with your transition.
@iSyrk yes, I have been in a documentary or three. a few photos have been used as well over the years from my youth in a few more. The National Geographic Channel seems to be the only real people who actually seemed to have a real interest in my experiences. Also in a online interview on the myhealthyplacetv org
amazing what some doctors think they can get away with. when my cousin was a toddler, he went for a hernia surgery. they decided while they were there, to just go ahead n circumcise him!. his mother was livid! what gall they had to assert THEIR views onto that child. :(
anyways, back to topic. i thought this video was wonderful. in a world where it's *almost* acceptable to be transgendered, people still cannot accept intersex people. they just dont know what theyre missing. hang in there!
@MzHellfyre Thank you for the wonderfull comment/support. Honestly Intersex from my experience seems to be very understandable for many people to accept. Typically it is someone who doesn't know anything about it that has a problem with making assumptions of what it means. And in most cases people seem more curious then critical and the curious ones appear to be very uderstanding. So the world overall is becoming more educated, more understanding and soon this issue won't be one.
@mishakailana well, i'm glad you are encountering better people. i don't seem to be able to find the same ones. i'm bisexual, so don't fit in the gay or straight world. plus i'm pagan, which still carries that old stigma. but i embrace who i am. it's me. if everyone else can't except it. screw em! :) lol
@SergeCWazukie thanks SergeCWazukie. a badass? hmm maybe in my dreams or alter Ego as the Screaming Banshee. <----Healthy pair of lungs which allows me to scream real loud. or I used too, these days the Screaming Banshee is a Squeak, SuckWind, Gasp and Cough up a Lung. Warning for all too never smoke, and if you do, too quit before your health starts sucking.
@mishakailana yes, a badass. in my eyes, one that doesnt give a shit whats what and just lets things "be". :] i only did it once.... i was addicted so after the first 2 ciggs i immediately knew it wasnt great hahahah XD but i do have to ask, which is the dominant gender here?? honestly i wish humans had to change genders at will...who HASNT woke up one day and wanted to be the opposite or both??
@BNforever2009 hey there I am going to hide your post, you shouldn't give out email addresses openly. Best to send a private message to the person rather then letting the world see how to get ahold of you.
@c7l7t7 thank you for the awesome comment. I am not sure what the "love you men! hmmm" means. Could you clarify for me. Or would it help If I clarified I am attracted to women.
All the best to you my sister. good for you to stop hiding. Be who you are and to hell with the thoughts of others as that is all you will get from them.
Hello, I'm not being smart or trying to make fun i'm curious are you attracted to females or males and does being an inter-sex affect your relationships?
@thompsoon1 I am attracted to women, but tend to care most about how beautiful a persons soul is. Yes I would say being IS does or has indeed made the majority of my life dificult. When I was young I was mostly dealing with being asked questions about being happy as a boy. Which really did not help me at all. Too many hints at being different by dr's and parents so I really didn't date through my teens. early 20s I was dating and enjoying myself and that well died after the Dx at 22.
@thompsoon1 Most of my 20's and 30's I spent my life celibate. I must say that 15 years of celibacy bytes. Dated a bit a few years ago, it's been awhile. I tend to think that I really do not spend much effort in looking for dates. But once in a blue moon someone comes along and after dropping hint after hint that I tend to not notice, eventually come out and tell me they really like me. I get the hint, but I swear they should use a boot, it would make it easier then flirting boot to the head!
I can honestly say that I support you fully, and meant absolutely NOTHING mean, harmful,or exclusionary in my statement. I just didn't know about the term multi-gender or that by saying third gender, it would be offensive.SO thanks for letting me know so that I don't unintentionally hurt anyone else.
@starving4 Thank you for the support and understanding, I should add I took no offense. Just thought I should clarify how the mention of a 3rd gender at times can cause some problems. esoecially when it comes to labeling. Too many people end up making assumptions about what the 3rd gender is. Unfortunately sometimes the bigots in the world can get pretty dang annoying with the pile of BS they can fling. Again thank you for commenting and the support.
Hello, the third gender is something that once I found out about, I was excited and truthfully felt a little lied to about. All my life I believed there was male and female and within that, individuals trying to find their place in and amongst those two very defining genders.I cannot imagine how difficult it would be to actually be neither male nor female yet both. and try to figure out where you fit in.I really hope the third gender becomes recognized as a gender and not a "disorder".(HUG)
@starving4 ouch, lol ok I do not support a 3rd Gender. I support a multi-Gender awareness. sort of like we all need an Infinity symbol as there are many Genders. I sort of get annoyed with the 3rd Gender concept because people make assumptions that can put everyone into a 3rd gender who do not fit the socalled 2 gender binary system. That can cause confusion by the way. Not that it would be bad, but it could lead to lots of problems when someone else decides that they're something their not.
Dear friend. I saw your video, and found you to be very beautiful. You are very special - because of who you are - and I am so glad that you are finding the path that truly belongs to you. You have the courage to be yourself - you are a hence a victor. Cheers to you, my friend - and may you have all the joys of life.
What gets me is that feminists would reject differences. You are definitely human, so what's the big deal? I am definitely inspired by your up-front-ness about this and just your strength in general. Honestly, I believe in the third sex, but I identified you as a female by your body language cues from the get-go. I am offended by the "disorder" title attached to being born different. It's like when homosexuality was considered a mental illness. This is the 21st century people! Thank you.
@AdeleJacotey I agree with you Adele. the word Disorder needs to just disappear from usage. Serioously we are all unique individuals with gifts/talents/skills or well whatever and non of us are the same as anyone else. So having some medical or psychiatric Dr. come up with some arbitrary value of normalcy then claim everyone else who doesn't fall into that normal category as being disordered is well simple bigotry. I like the word Unique tons better.
It was interesting to me that half-way through the video you said that you self-identify as female, because in spite of the 5 o'clock shadow, the thick eyebrows, and absence of any cosmetic cues of applied "femininity" (as dictated by our culture,) from the beginning of the video you struck me as female in voice and manner.
@bluevviolet thank you for noticing and commenting. I would like to point out that this video is several years old now. hmmm then again, I still look terrrible in the mirror. Most people who comment tend to be much nicer about my looks then I am of myself. all I can really say is that I guess I am not as kind too myself as people like you are to me. So thank you for the comment and nice thoughts.
you probably won't ever get to this comment, and I don't know your whole background, but do you resent your parents for choosing to raise you a certain way? Obviously you reject the choice to raise you as male, but do you hold it against your parents? I just try to put myself in their position and I don't know what I would choose, What do you think is the best choice for parents of an intersex child? Should they leave the child until it's "clearer"?
@Bexii88 I get all notification of posts but have been taking a computer sabatical. ie I needed a break so my apologies for the late response. To anser your questions.... Yes I indeed resent my parents and or doctors decision's regarding the surgeries I have had. I understand some of the surgeies were needed, but not all were in my case. I even understood dr's and parents choices but as an adult I should of been counseled and informed of options instead of going under the knife again.
@DajanaeM well I can't but it is possible. She would need to find one of the specialists dealing with Gender reassignment, and hope that not too much has allready been done. Some of the dr's who perform GRS/SRS don't like trying to correct previous surgeries due to lack of tissue and or scar tissue from previous surgeries. there is also cost involved so that may interfere or take time to raise funds.
Thank you for sharing your experience with others. You are extremely brave and there need to be more people like you who are not ashamed of who they are.
Thanks to all have written in the last few months, and my apologies for not responding. I have been avoiding my computer as it well annoys me. Anyways I do hope to respond to each comment I missed and again my apologies as it will take some time. computer is updating tonight and likely be a day or two before it is running in its usually crappy slow performance.
cool! good job educating and surely making it easier for tons of people out there with the same situation :) Hat off for you! Hope you don't get too much flaming, youre doing an important job that not everybody could do and u wish you all the best!
Thanks for speaking up. They will listen as soon as we all join together to enforce our existing laws against child abuse, torture, mutilation and for performing human vivsection on alive children. Nobody has the right to surgically alter our genitals unless we are old enough to make this our own decision. Circumcision and sex assignment surgery on non-consenting people is a crime that needs be banned world wide.
Thank you so much for making this video. I am coming to terms with being FTM transgender myself and your video has helped me understand the gender divide a bit better. I never knew anything about transgender up until two years ago and I've only recently learned of intersex so this video was very informative. =)
@MrIgnostic I find women to very pleasing, if that is what you mean? Small bit of humor for ya. It is however difficult at times for some people to understand that what attracts people to one another is not always something so simple as what the other has that I or someone else doesn't have.... ie opposites don't always attract. I see myself essentially as a lesbian, but lesbians have a hard time accepting me as one of them. Well at least the femenists have a hard time accepting. not all luckily
@feelfreeRania Thank you for the kind words and supportive advice.I am apologizing for the late response, took a Toutube sabatical. Basically ignored my computer for awhile. I am working my way to the posts I missed. again thanks for taking the time to write a comment and offering some advice.
You need to be comfortable in your own skin, and if that means having the surgery to become physically female, then by all means do so. In the end the only opinion that matters is your opinion of yourself. Don't let anyone make you believe otherwise.
EVERYONE is different. No one is exactly the same as anyone else. There is no "normal".
There's a very special person right there. You know I have a neurological disorder. It is easier to accept my condition as a disorder of genetic information and when I process the word it speaks of my condition in a medical way and not of me personally in a derogative way. I do sympathize with your sensitivity to the medical world having endured through so much mistreatment and oversight. May you be loved by everyone who comes into your life.
Thank you so much for your personal educational view point on this trait. People tend to be mean when they don't understand. Thank you again and I see you as a beautiful person. God Bless you.
Wow..... Porn really has ruined the whole concept of transgender and all other aspects alike to it. I've been watching countless documentaries and memoirs about this top to better understand this subject ever since my friend brought it up over a crude sexual conversation. Thank you for being able to more enlighten ms on the topic
frontliner0 5 days ago
@frontliner0 thanks for watching and writing. I am not so fond of the Porn references, that stuff is all about the act of sex and lust and has very little to do with how real people are trying to educate the world about what it's really like. Life I mean, how people really live and cope or try to cope with difficult issue's that are not so commonly well known or understood.

I want to just say something. I am no stranger to activism. My variety is more on the side of the"slight against religion". Doing what I have done for the last year or so. I know what inhuman restrictions we place on people. Thanks for putting yourself out there to be heard.

I think one of my friends is a hermaphrodite.

GreenEyedBlueCat 2 months ago
@GreenEyedBlueCat thank you for listening and writing a response. It is nice to see that even a fundamentalist Christian is understanding. Perhaps you could do me a small favor and share some of your insight with those around you. I really tend to think that the Fundamental Christians are less understanding of things that they are not aware of, With awareness comes acceptance. Sharing knowledge helps everyone understand each other better. thanks again for commenting.

MaximillianRed 3 months ago
@MaximillianRed oh easy, That is exactly what most dr's actually behave when they encounter IS affected people. I have had many surgeries throughout my life, the last 2 were without my consent, ie as an adult, I should of been told, and asked what options were available... That is why I am an IS activists, technically a couch potato IS activist but well that's were I can draw the most strength of conviction from. I use my experiences to help the world learn what life is really like.
mishakailana 2 months ago
I respect you very much and agree with everything you have said. You are a stronger person than most of us. The world, especially in the middle east where I'm from, need to be more tolerant about sexuality. Thank you for your very inspiring story, and I hope you get everything you deserve.
jugernautjuggalo 3 months ago
@jugernautjuggalo I am real curious about your middle east comment and refferencing being more tolerant. To my knowledge the Q'uran has many passages concerning those born intersex, I thought there was a recognized 3rd sex name in Islamic script, alot like the wording of euniche's in the christian Bible? Then again from my experiences most Christians ignore what is written about acceptance and Euniches even those born that way. So maybe your experiencing the same nonsense in the Mid-East..
mishakailana 2 months ago
@misha Most people that practice religion are hypocrites, no offense intended to any of those who practice any type of religion. That is not the biggest problem, honor killings are worse. Christians had lynching back then, basicaly the same as honor killing, but Islam is not modernized in the middle east, its like they are still living in the past. I am from Iraq, and these do not happen often, it's mostly where Al Qaeda is prominant, like Afghanistan. It's just horrible. Sorry off subject

purplepinkpillow 3 months ago
@purplepinkpillow thanks, though I should clarify that its not my sexuality that affects my psychology. It is my Anatomical development that influences my self identity, with a fair amount of resentment against choices Dr's and Parents have made. Honestl its really just learning about the world and my own self understanding of what I am and how I feel. As far as my sexuality goes and I am honestly closest to a lesbian though many lesbians have a hard time accepting that.
mishakailana 3 months ago
I think that you are a very strong person for standing up for yourself and getting what you want. touching story. people are stupid to say that what someone looks like is what their sex should be. there are many people out there that identify as female or male but born oppisite. you should see a psych in order to get what you want. then the doctors cant say shit about what they think anymore. good luck with what you are hoping th achieve.

@mishakailana Intellect is displayed by:
-ETC. (There are many 1 comment will not allow me to continue)
amyhunter83 3 months ago
@mishakailana So I ask you now.
Do you consider yourself intelligent?
DO NOT ANSWER THE QUESTION TO ANYONE ELSE BUT YOURSELF.
The way you see things might just as well be the truly right one and all the rest of us are just simians who behave and look like human beings but aren't truly evolved adequately.
There is also the possibility that (pardon me) you are just a genetic fail of mother nature and you and all alike to you are the true cancer of our race. ALL is possible we are an unstable race.
amyhunter83 3 months ago
@amyhunter83 Humans excel at dehumanization. They use it to commit untold atrocities, to demonstrate cruelty and segregate people.
Amyhunter83, dehumanization is a cancer. It is an innate part of homo-sapien's psychological make-up and your comment was a perfect example of our innate ability to be cruel for the sake of devaluing another. For your sake, you might want to try to resist the urge.

Weren't you on television?
iSyrk 7 months ago
@iSyrk yes, I have been in a documentary or three. a few photos have been used as well over the years from my youth in a few more. The National Geographic Channel seems to be the only real people who actually seemed to have a real interest in my experiences. Also in a online interview on the myhealthyplacetv org
.

amazing what some doctors think they can get away with. when my cousin was a toddler, he went for a hernia surgery. they decided while they were there, to just go ahead n circumcise him!. his mother was livid! what gall they had to assert THEIR views onto that child. :(
anyways, back to topic. i thought this video was wonderful. in a world where it's *almost* acceptable to be transgendered, people still cannot accept intersex people. they just dont know what theyre missing. hang in there!
MzHellfyre 7 months ago
@MzHellfyre Thank you for the wonderfull comment/support. Honestly Intersex from my experience seems to be very understandable for many people to accept. Typically it is someone who doesn't know anything about it that has a problem with making assumptions of what it means. And in most cases people seem more curious then critical and the curious ones appear to be very uderstanding. So the world overall is becoming more educated, more understanding and soon this issue won't be one.
mishakailana 7 months ago
@mishakailana well, i'm glad you are encountering better people. i don't seem to be able to find the same ones. i'm bisexual, so don't fit in the gay or straight world. plus i'm pagan, which still carries that old stigma. but i embrace who i am. it's me. if everyone else can't except it. screw em! :) lol

Hello, I'm not being smart or trying to make fun i'm curious are you attracted to females or males and does being an inter-sex affect your relationships?
thompsoon1 7 months ago
@thompsoon1 I am attracted to women, but tend to care most about how beautiful a persons soul is. Yes I would say being IS does or has indeed made the majority of my life dificult. When I was young I was mostly dealing with being asked questions about being happy as a boy. Which really did not help me at all. Too many hints at being different by dr's and parents so I really didn't date through my teens. early 20s I was dating and enjoying myself and that well died after the Dx at 22.
mishakailana 7 months ago
@thompsoon1 Most of my 20's and 30's I spent my life celibate. I must say that 15 years of celibacy bytes. Dated a bit a few years ago, it's been awhile. I tend to think that I really do not spend much effort in looking for dates. But once in a blue moon someone comes along and after dropping hint after hint that I tend to not notice, eventually come out and tell me they really like me. I get the hint, but I swear they should use a boot, it would make it easier then flirting boot to the head!
mishakailana 7 months ago
I can honestly say that I support you fully, and meant absolutely NOTHING mean, harmful,or exclusionary in my statement. I just didn't know about the term multi-gender or that by saying third gender, it would be offensive.SO thanks for letting me know so that I don't unintentionally hurt anyone else.
starving4 7 months ago
@starving4 Thank you for the support and understanding, I should add I took no offense. Just thought I should clarify how the mention of a 3rd gender at times can cause some problems. esoecially when it comes to labeling. Too many people end up making assumptions about what the 3rd gender is. Unfortunately sometimes the bigots in the world can get pretty dang annoying with the pile of BS they can fling. Again thank you for commenting and the support.
mishakailana 7 months ago
Hello, the third gender is something that once I found out about, I was excited and truthfully felt a little lied to about. All my life I believed there was male and female and within that, individuals trying to find their place in and amongst those two very defining genders.I cannot imagine how difficult it would be to actually be neither male nor female yet both. and try to figure out where you fit in.I really hope the third gender becomes recognized as a gender and not a "disorder".(HUG)
starving4 8 months ago
@starving4 ouch, lol ok I do not support a 3rd Gender. I support a multi-Gender awareness. sort of like we all need an Infinity symbol as there are many Genders. I sort of get annoyed with the 3rd Gender concept because people make assumptions that can put everyone into a 3rd gender who do not fit the socalled 2 gender binary system. That can cause confusion by the way. Not that it would be bad, but it could lead to lots of problems when someone else decides that they're something their not.

Thank you.
AdeleJacotey 8 months ago
@AdeleJacotey I agree with you Adele. the word Disorder needs to just disappear from usage. Serioously we are all unique individuals with gifts/talents/skills or well whatever and non of us are the same as anyone else. So having some medical or psychiatric Dr. come up with some arbitrary value of normalcy then claim everyone else who doesn't fall into that normal category as being disordered is well simple bigotry. I like the word Unique tons better.
mishakailana 8 months ago
I'm so very sorry about what's been done to you.
It was interesting to me that half-way through the video you said that you self-identify as female, because in spite of the 5 o'clock shadow, the thick eyebrows, and absence of any cosmetic cues of applied "femininity" (as dictated by our culture,) from the beginning of the video you struck me as female in voice and manner.
bluevviolet 8 months ago
@bluevviolet thank you for noticing and commenting. I would like to point out that this video is several years old now. hmmm then again, I still look terrrible in the mirror. Most people who comment tend to be much nicer about my looks then I am of myself. all I can really say is that I guess I am not as kind too myself as people like you are to me. So thank you for the comment and nice thoughts.
mishakailana 8 months ago
you probably won't ever get to this comment, and I don't know your whole background, but do you resent your parents for choosing to raise you a certain way? Obviously you reject the choice to raise you as male, but do you hold it against your parents? I just try to put myself in their position and I don't know what I would choose, What do you think is the best choice for parents of an intersex child? Should they leave the child until it's "clearer"?
Bexii88 8 months ago
@Bexii88 I get all notification of posts but have been taking a computer sabatical. ie I needed a break so my apologies for the late response. To anser your questions.... Yes I indeed resent my parents and or doctors decision's regarding the surgeries I have had. I understand some of the surgeies were needed, but not all were in my case. I even understood dr's and parents choices but as an adult I should of been counseled and informed of options instead of going under the knife again.

my cousin is hermophrdite shes a girl and she wants her boys parts off can you do that
DajanaeM 8 months ago
@DajanaeM well I can't but it is possible. She would need to find one of the specialists dealing with Gender reassignment, and hope that not too much has allready been done. Some of the dr's who perform GRS/SRS don't like trying to correct previous surgeries due to lack of tissue and or scar tissue from previous surgeries. there is also cost involved so that may interfere or take time to raise funds.

Are you more sexually attracted to males or female or are you attracted to both equally?
MrIgnostic 10 months ago
@MrIgnostic I find women to very pleasing, if that is what you mean? Small bit of humor for ya. It is however difficult at times for some people to understand that what attracts people to one another is not always something so simple as what the other has that I or someone else doesn't have.... ie opposites don't always attract. I see myself essentially as a lesbian, but lesbians have a hard time accepting me as one of them. Well at least the femenists have a hard time accepting. not all luckily

You have my utmost respect and support.
