Not only do you have to contend with Metroids and a glass-encased brain, but you also have to fight off evil Spaghetti-O's as well.

The last section is missing the glass energy tubes you have to blast through with missles, making that section all the more tedious.

Wait till time gets down to 14 or 13 seconds then go up the elevator. The planet will explode, but you'll still get the ending!

A suggestion for later runs: freeze the circle things, but don't destroy them.

The game is programmed so that only three of them can be on screen at a time. If all three are frozen, but still intact, more will not produced. If you froze them in good spots, you'll have about ten seconds to pump missiles into Mother Brain before they unfreeze.
