"Game Center CX"/"Retro Game Master" even mentioned the code. In the episode featuring the game as the challenge of the day, Shinya Arino felt the music to be quite unlike the "Fantasy Zone" he was used to playing; one of his Assistant Directors stepped in and told him the code. He was significantly motivated, and pushed forth to try and beat the game. (Yes, I watched it. I'm such a nerd. Blame Kotaku for exposing me to the sub-dub.)
